AMP MOTs were recommended to me when the usual companies that I would use weren't able to help when I needed them. They were great. They fitted me in quickly, diagnosed the fault and fitted the new part for a very reasonable price. They allowed me to source the part there and then so I didn't have to wait. They were friendly and professional. Their new waiting area was comfortable and I could even watch the work as it happened on the TV screen. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

5 STARS!! Great Company, Helpful, Knowledgeable friendly guys. We drove down from Manchester delivering some furniture, whilst down in Milton Keynes we had a scraping noise coming from the van, with it being a Sunday afternoon around 2pm we thought we were stuck and would have to ring the AA. We happened to drive past and noticed their garage looked open, they weren't actually open but just calling in at the garage that day. I gave them as call as we had drove past and explained the situation, they were more than happy to have a look. upon arriving their first question was if we wanted a cup of tea! :) They found the problem and within 10 minutes a new wheel bearing arrived, they spent around 2 hours pressing the old one out of the hub assembly and reassembling everything. Job done and we were on our way home to Manchester. We cannot recommend them enough, the previous 4 garages turned us away, it seems most places in this day and age are afraid of hard work and shy away from anything more than changing a tyre or a bulb. These guys were great, friendly, honest guys who I cannot fault. Keep up the good work, Thanks again! Matt & Pete

Really pleased I had AMP recommended to me by a car-savvy neighbour. Tony is a really excellent mechanic. Very good labour charges. Very helpful, trustworthy and honest. I trust Tony completely. He is a fantastic mechanic and knows his trade inside and out. I had an oil leak which Tony sussed out very quickly. He won't go ahead with expensive work without prior agreement. Caroline is an asset to the garage and always a friendly voice on the phone, a pleasure to see her. Went to Halfords in Winterhill for an mot, was sent away with a fail and a list of problems with the brake pipes corroding and wanted to charge us £800 to fix this, after taking the car home and just cleaning up all the Pipe work we bought the car to amp mots and they were shocked that they had even failed it and tried to charge us that much, they did a full mot and passed the car without a shadow of a doubt! Definitely recommend these guys! Don’t go elsewhere and get ripped off

My friend recommended this garage 2 years ago and it is the only garage I'll go to now. They are the most honest mechanics I've been to, they have looked after my car really well every time. Their prices are very reasonable and they do what needs to be done without trying to add extra jobs like other garages I've been to. An example today, I just took my car there for a job which a recovery service guy told me would take an hour to do. They did it in half an hour and charged me less than the estimate given by the recovery service. Friendly without overdoing it, which I find refreshing. Thank you Tony and team! From happy customer

We used these guys about a year ago to do an MOT on our vehicle and the service we received was excellent. Today we needed to find a garage to fix the master cyclinder on our Vauxhall Insignia fairly urgently and we did not hesitate giving AMP MOT's a call. Not only did they arrange for a recovery to take the car to the garage and book the repair for the next morning the price quoted was absolutely reasonable. With the amount of dodgy garages out there we would highly recommend AMP MOTs for their friendliness, professionalism, honesty and fair pricing.

100% trusted by us, used for 7yrs now for 3 motors. Always busy and safe service with a smile. Found this gem 7yrs ago and use them every time. Hubby's great at fixing our 3 cars but uses these guys for all diagnostic, awkward or difficult jobs. Price is always spot on. Saved our 2nd motor's metal on several occasions too!! As a women I'd be happy to use this place without a man backing me up. i know 100% they wont rip anyone off. They know their way around classic cars too and MOT our 1970's campervan every year.
