After being involved in a minor Collison, my insurance company were trying to write my vehicle off. They didn't understand that it was a specialist vehicle that had been modified for work purposes, and were massively under valuing it. That evening, I decided to send an email to VCR to see if they would be able to help. I received a phone call from Chris first thing the following morning, saying that they would be able to help and to bring the vehicle down so they could take a look and evaluate the damage. After evaluating the damage they confirmed that the vehicle was repairable, and that there's no justification to write it off. Over the next few weeks, Chris worked very hard to argue and prove to the insurers that it should be repaired. Eventually he managed to get them to authorise repairs. Can't thank Chris and the staff at VCR enough for their hard work and determination in saving my vehicle. I would highly recommend them.

I received a very professional and friendly service from the team at VCR. My car had substantial front end damage following an accident. I made a short call to my insurance provider and completed VCR’s short claim form that only takes 2 minutes to fill in. Thereafter VCR managed the entire process for me whilst keeping me regularly updated the whole time. The standard of repair was faultless. A courtesy car was provided too. For a stress free insurance claim repair I cannot recommend VCR enough. For sure I will be recommending VCR to friends and family.

Highly communicative from the initial quote, through to picking the vehicle up after the works were completed. There were months of back-and-forth between myself and a supermarket who were covering the cost of the works, and Chris and VCR were fab in supplying all sorts of invoices that the supermarket required. Great Service from VCR, these guys were excellent from my first phone call to picking up my car. Caught my front bumper pulling out of a parking bay, so needed it "fixing," these guys were straight on the front foot, outlining my options in a friendly and helpful manner using their experience to make sure I had all the information necessary to make an informed decision as it was a privately paid job. They were so good I decided to also sort out my boot lid which was heavily corroded - respray and fit replacement part. I would highly recommend checking these guys out if you need any work doing, having visited a few places searching for where to get this job done, these guys stand out on service alone, and the workmanship is amazing. Special mention to Carly & Rob who were delightful to deal with throughout the process.

I had a bad crash on my car and I never thought I would see my car like it use to be as the insurance wanted to write it off but I liked my car and it had plenty of life left in it plus I could not afford buying another car. I have been lucky to find VCR on the net and got to meet Chris which has been honest and professional and detailed all the work needed. Special equipment was required and not any other car body repair shop had it in the area. The prices I heard for the repair from other shops were about 2 to 3 times what I have been quoted by VCR. I was so impressed to see my car after repair and it was shinier than ever, I do recommend VCR that genuinely took care of my car for such a reasonable price and quality was of the highest. Scuff N Scratch, has to be one of the very best painters around Mk, No Mess No Fuss and does the job he said he will do 100%. Also he is fair with his prices. But if you want a perfect job or even just a good job at a reasonable price, don't waste any time looking else were. I had my bumpers and mirrors painted. As ford had done them and they had orange peal effect but Scuff N Scratch made this results Just look at the picture 100% perfection..

Recently had my Audi A3 repaired for multiple scratches/dents/chips. Fantastic service and quality cannot be faulted in that respect. However being a novice in this field I expected everything fully repaired but one section was just filled in with paint rather than a full repair. Due to technicalities I can agree on partial fault on my end however would advise (as constructive criticism) to do a better job of of holding the customers hand during the quotation process for people like me who have little to no knowledge as I had a higher expectation set then to what was actually agreed on paper because of the quotation period. Hats off to Carly and the other guy (sorry forgot his name but I wanna say Sean maybe) who really did do their best to resolve the issue as it was obvious these guys went above and beyond to ensure I left happy which included bothering the boss on his day off (sorry Rob). Alloy wheel refurbishment - Quotation through email immediately after i sent pictures, priced cheaper than others so went for it! These guys did a fantastic job on my alloy wheels - I have a dark grey Mazda 6 Sport, that had badly curbed silver 19" wheels (due to bad driving by me, I confess). The wheels were refurbed and sprayed anthracite, which looks fantastic. Everything was done as outlined on their website - dropped off my car at 9.00am; they worked on the wheels all day; ready for collection at 6pm. They cleaned the car, too, which was nice. Admittedly the courtesy car was a slightly battered Renault Clio, but that is probably because these guys are keeping costs down to a minimum, so that prices are as cheap as possible for customers. The quality of the work was brilliant - I am *delighted* with the result - the wheels look brand new. Considering the time and aggravation that other refurb firms involve, where they refurb the wheels over a number of days, Scuff'N'Scratch are a brilliant alternative, and cheaper too. I would have no hesitation in going back to them - including for bodywork, too, which also looks to be a brilliant service.
