Was recommended by a friend who has been using this garage for a long time. Booked in for mot and service using the online channel which was very simple and straightforward. Car needed a tyre for its mot was contacted very early as garage didn't have my size in stock to make sure it would get delivered the same day. Collected car at end of of the day staff in the garage were very friendly and helpful will definitely be returning here for any future work my car might need. Highly recommend.

Really good mechanics, rescued me because my alternator wasn't working and after getting a jump start I was stranded round the corner from the garage. They came out and swapped the batteries then replaced the alternator quite quickly. It was quite expensive but it has a warranty on it and I knew the price before I agreed to the work. It actually turned out cheaper than originally quoted.

I cannot praise the guys at the Byker service centre enough. I arrived literally as the store was closing with a severely punctured tyre and the lads stayed back and put my spare on to help me get home. They replaced the tyre the next day at a very reasonable price. Excellent service I would recommend.

Good availability for appointments despite Christmas/New Year holidays. Car was quickly booked in and I was kept informed of the progress with repairs and MOT. Graham, the branch manager, was only too helpful and told me he had a spare appointment in a couple of hours time and was happy to MOT the car then, which was very good of him. I left the car with Graham and he rang me later in the afternoon to confirm that he had done the car. Great service and I shall have no hesitation in using the Byker branch again.

Amazing service, friendly staff, give me directions of where to go and wait while they did my m.o.t - had a lovely bit of lunch and then received a phone call that my car was done, they where accurate with the time, I was just walking back to the garage when they phoned me. Over the moon. Very professional & helpful staff. Would highly recommend! Also they’ve got a deal on, whereby you spend any amount in store or online & receive an MOT for £10. Think it’s on till 26th June 2019, really worth getting if your mot is close to being up. They do a real good job of them, not like a back street garage. 10/10

All my car needed to pass the MOT was an 18" wiper blade, Halfords charged me £21 for a single Bosch blade, I can buy both for £22.99

Needed to change my tyres. I don't have a clue about this stuff. However, the staff was on point, helped me to choose based on how much I can afford to invest. A friend of mine ( who's an expert in this ) told me that he was surprised by the price that I payed and he confirmed that what I was provided was high class. I always tend to go to Nissan Lookers Garage but this time I was short in cash, but from now on I will definitely try Halfrods first. Not only, better service, but better price.

Very very good and thorough customer service: I bought a full service package for a car - unfortunately in no paper documents did I receive (other than the additional bill that I accrued) any evidence of all the checks that they had done (essentially their word against mine). It was only before I left, I had to alert to them and pick up that they didn't fully inspect my rear windscreen wiper as was not flushing with fluid as it was blocked. Furthermore, they called me an hour in their inspection to recommend that I should have my engine oil cleaned as well as break fluid applied - given that I myself had to alert them of my windscreen wiper flush fault that they failed to pick up on at the end, wasn't sure if things were done full spec? HOWEVER, the manager and staff were extremely very knowledgable, nice and friendly and attended to the windscreen wiper quickly once identifying it to them- thank you! In addition, they called me personally shortly after I gave feedback to them and explained that Halfords overall have stopped giving the servicing ticksheet to customers and endeavoured that they will feed this back to the head office as they agreed it should be present for customers to take home. I was genuinely surprised and very impressed with the level of thought and commitment to customer service and have definitely won me over. Thank you to the team!

I literally had less than an hour before the centre closed to collect my vehicle only because i was told i will be called and was not. its only when i called then is when they updated me. otherwise i would definitely recommend them
