I really wanted to write this review as Manic Mechanics have been absolutely flawless in the way they have looked after me and my cars. I picked up my Skoda after a major service today and honestly, the car is like a different car! Smooth and a pleasure to drive once again! Georgia was incredibly helpful and very accommodating with our car needs. The garage have always been honest and trustworthy and also offer a payment assist program so you don’t have to find the money straight away up front. Absolutely brilliant garage, definitely trustworthy, honest and reliable. Highly recommend! Many thanks.

Had my timing chain replaced, water pump and had an interim service performed. Everything was fixed smoothly with no issue. A rattling sound was present at the time brought it back in for a check and since then my car has been performing exceptionally well. I would recommend this garage to anyone looking to get their car sorted. It is expensive but you get what you pay for.

We have been really impressed with Manic Mechanics when our car needed some work. it’s very hard to find a reliable garage but these guys are great and we will be using them again.

The MOT itself was never carried out due to the car over heating, although I was told the MOT was completed and it failed. The basic checks were not completed and I had to go and pay elsewhere for checks to be completed to find the coolant needed topping up. When discussing the issues with Manic Mechanics and rebooking my car in to complete the rest of the MOT, I was informed the MOT was never carried out and he could only apologise for this. I then rebooked the car in and it passed as expected, although a coolant leak was reported on my MOT. I again queried this upon pick up and was told they don't know where the leak is from but it would cost me to find out. Upon reflection of the advisory, I got this checked elsewhere by having a pressure test completed. I have since been told there is actually no leak and again have been lied to by Manic Mechanics. The cost for coolant was never offered to me, even though the garage was aware of my costs as voiced via telephone. This was supposed to be included in the price paid initially. The poor knowledge and service is one thing, but to continually lie to customers is beyond human error and mistakes that can be overlooked. UPDATE: The owner has since contacted me, apologised for the problems I've experienced and refunded me all costs incurred, including the cost of the MOT. Whilst this doesn't wipe the experience away, or change the errors recorded on my MOT certificate, he has tried to resolve the situation as well as he could. I may try again in the future, and hopefully this experience can help ensure a better service going forward.

Had a slight mishap the other day and wanted to have the car checked out for any mechanical damage. They booked me in the same week, staff was very helpful and professional. Due to the mishap I had I was expecting the worst, but they came back to me having thouroughly checked the car and being absolutely honest to say there was barely any damage except for a couple of scratches. Many garages could have easily taken advantage and diagnose various things to charge for but not Manics! Absolutely amazed by such excellent service, can highly recommend and will be back for any car related queries.

I must admit that this is the only garage which never disappointed or let me down, and all members have professional and friendly manners. I am already using them for four years and always happy. Other garages tried to rip me off by telling me that they dont know prices only hour rates and estimates, but manic mechanics are professionals and always discuss the prices and quotea before conducting any repairs, which makes them professional and fair. And of course best thing is spreading the price to monthly instalments

I’m so particular with who I will let work on my car and I’ve Been using manic mechanics for over 3 years for any servicing, MOT or repairs I need doing, always done to the highest standard with brand new parts, not like most garages who will fix parts that don’t even need fixing, considering the care and attention the hourly labour rate is exceptional too!
