I cannot recommend them enough. Staff is friendly, they explain everything for everyone’s understanding. Whenever I have been there asking for an advised they checked and gave me the best advice. They never try just to take your money. Excellent service! I went here for years with all cars I had before and I was never disappointed.

I arrived at the specified time and was seen very quickly, however, Simon informed me there had been an error with the quote and this was going to cost an additional £180. He did manage to reduce this but I still had to pay almost £120, I cannot fault their professionalism or quality of work but whom ever quoted me should be liable as I am now out of pocket. Would I use them again yes I would but only if the price quoted was the price to be paid, shame really otherwise it would have been a 5* review

I needed an mot urgently and phoned in. They were able to fit me in on a cancellation. Small garage for basic repair work and mot. No waiting room though. Fast work.

Very Very Highly Recommended !! Bought a battery from Halfords which for some bizarre reason the branch at weedon Rd and the Halford garage in St james were unable to install due to there being some " grease" at the top. Called few other garages in Northampton they were unable to install as it was not there own inhouse battery. Called Jamie at In n Out on Kettering Rd who showed great customer service advised me to come down even though they were extremely busy. Mechanic named bill installed for me without no issues in about 10 mins. I can not thank them enough for going out of there way. Definitely the best garage in Northampton in terms of both service and price !!!

Been here a few times for both service and MOT on different occasions and they do not mess around, tell you clearly and precisely what any issues are and how they can help. This business and the mechanics that work there are great. Recently, I took my car in to the garage for an MOT and Full Service. My car was ‘IN’n’OUT’ in no time. After, I left feeling that what I got was excellent value for money. What followed from that was a recommendation that my car battery was running low/faulty. Unfortunately, as I don’t drive it a lot it did end up losing all its juice 3 weeks later. Jamie and the team came out and jump started my car for me and then took it in to the garage for further tests. I went back expecting a hefty bill (as I thought I needed a new battery) and instead I was pleasantly surprised. The team had finished the checks on my car battery and charged it up as much as possible before handing back the keys - free of charge. This is what excellent customer service looks like. Always helpful and choose a sensibly priced option where they can. I noticed another reviewer bemoaned a lack of waiting room , but there definitely is one. Not huge, about 6 customers comfortably. And the hot chocolate from the machine is great!

Took the car in for a MOT, they were really busy which to me was a good sign. Was told they were running a bit late which wasn't an issue but at least they told me. There's a park nearby which is good for a walk. Got back an hour later and car was ready to go as I had paid online upfront. Staff were polite, waiting area was clean, looked good to me.

Came here for a full service for the first time when I bought a new used car, I've returned for a number of visits to fix various items on it since. They always do a good job, and have the capacity to fit you in with very little notice. I don't think their the cheapest but the main reason I personally bring it here is that I trust them to give me honest, genuine advice...which is very difficult to find within the mechanics industry. On a service you get little videos to show any work that needs completing, all the work I've had done has warranties and all the parts used are OEM. I will continue to use them in the future.

The employees there was really helpful and professional. I was there to get my MOT done. It was bit expensive compared to some other places but the service was excellent. So I cannot really complain about anything. The service is very transparent too. After the test, I was suggested a little repair and they gave me a quote but also suggested that I am able to take the car out and get it done. I will go back for sure.

Fabulous and fast service. Not our usual garage but when my car broke down and had to be towed I left it here. They dealt with it brilliantly and were totally honest.the clutch had damaged the starter motor so it broke down again and they did thorough investigations to discover the fault. Would use them again. They were so lovely when I questioned them about everything and took time to explain without patronising me or making me feel a nuisance. My air con just happened to stop working on one of the hottest days last week and I was struggling to find anywhere that could fit me in. Rang up In & Out on Kettering road and they were able to see me the same afternoon! The 2 guys working that day were absolutely brilliant, such friendly guys, customer service was brilliant. One of the best and most friendly garages around. They never 'suck their teeth' and try to overcharge you for simple repairs (in fact they often do little jobs like replacing a light bulb for free and only charge for the light itself). After years of being ripped off by places like Shelltune (next door) I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Having been told a fair bit of work needed doing on my car by another garage (who tried to charge me £980), In'n'OUT were by far the most competitive alternative who carried out the work for half the price. They were honest enough to tell me that my wheel bearing seemed ok and they didn't think it needed replacing as the other garage had suggested. They also take your safety very seriously and asked that I return in the week so they could just re-check the bearing after I had driven it to ensure it's safe! Would definitely recommend! Mot, car servicing, car air-condition re-gas and service, car repairs, unlimited oil and screenwash refill etc, free refreshment while the job is been done for you. We've been using this specific garage for quite a few years, and every time we needed a MOT test or required something to be fixed on our cars, we got excellent customer care and very fair pricing. Jamie, the branch manager, runs a tight-ship and his team members clearly give their up-most at this branch. You can truly sense that they care about doing a good job for their customers. The labour costs at this garage are very fairly priced, and they keep you in the loop on what they're doing to your car and why it needs to be resolved. If you need evidence of the issue, they'll provide it before working to fix it. You can also bring in your own parts (from, say, Euro Car Parts) and ask them to use those instead, and they'll gladly fit them and just charge for the labour. If you're in Northampton, consider using the In-and-Out on Kettering road first -- the branch on Towcester road isn't as good. Both branches are far better than Halfords or National Tyres!

Really easy, booked a time to have brakes looked at, was checked in 10minutes, new pads were needed new discs were recommended, was given a pretty reasonable quote for everything, went home and came back an hour later to it all done, bonus they have a handcar wash on site I paid the guys £7 to polish it up on the way out. job done.
