I took my Ford Transit to Jacksons Diesels last week and was extremely impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. I had taken my van to several different garages and had incurred costly bills with no real improvement to my van. After a diagnostic they correctly pinpointed the issue and had it fully repaired and back to full performance the following day for a reasonable fee. Would defiantly recommend them !!!

Took my Insignia to Jackson's last Friday 20/03/20 on the recommendation of a friend having been previously told that the DPF was 100% full and once they are full, they are beyond repair. I was subsequently quoted £2,200 to replace & fit with a genuine Vauxhall part which was recommended!!! Tracy talked me through my options, and she was quite confident that Jackson's Technicians would be able to sort my car out. This immediately inspired some confidence in me....... I was introduced to Rob (one of the Technicians) who again was very confident that the car was fixable. When you have a skilled and experienced Technician saying, "I've yet to had one I haven't sorted", that said a lot about his levels of confidence! I subsequently left the car with Rob, and by Saturday lunchtime, the car was ready!! Rob did confirm that the DPF was full of soot, but this had been caused by a faulty of sensor which he also replaced. Total bill including; diagnostics, DPF cleaning, faulty sensor replacement + labour was £515.00 v £2,220!! The car is now amazing, there is definitely a marked improvement in terms of and its performance/ acceleration. It is without question that I would thoroughly recommend Jacksons Diesels for all your Diesel needs. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and certainly keen to help & support their customers. Putting it quite simply, they have been brilliant from start to finish, I am very grateful for their expertise, and speed in resolving the issues with my car, and ultimately being able to fix it. So it is with sincere thanks to Tracy & Rob for helping me.....I really appreciate it guys!! Best wishes, Kev H

Bit of a late review but Took my insignia diesel here a short while back as a non runner after a bad dpf removal and remap from anther garage. The guys here are excellent kept me updated and got the car running again. They tested my injectors in-house which not even dealer workshops can do and checked remap files etc think the guy who was dealing with it was rob many thanks.

Brought in Mondeo TDCI with Glow Plugs fault indicator. Rob ran an analysis, identified the issue and offered to repair straight away, even though it was closing time. Car fixed and road tested within 30 minutes. Very happy. Would recommend.

My van required a head gasket, the price quoted at Allen Ford was astronomical so I googled around to find an alternative. The guy I spoke to spent a good 10 minutes on the phone going through options and prices as well as giving me some useful advice. I took my van in on Monday 20th January and I was told I might get it back on Wednesday but more likely Thursday. I received a call on Thursday to say the van was ready for collecting. The price was within the price range quoted and that was a cheaper price than Allan Ford and it included a new timing chain. In all Jacksons offer a competitive price, a reliable and a friendly service and I will be using them to MOT my van, such a change to find a reliable garage.

I came here to have some new tyres and wheel alignment, and got a voucher (valid for 12 months) for a £20 MOT. As I had just booked full price one with my car dealership, swiftly cancelled that to take advantage of this deal. For both tyres & MOT I cannot fault the service.

*Ignore the earlier one star review mentioning wrong address as I’ve changed it to their current location on Horseshoe street* Jacksons replaced the injectors on my then Mondeo ST TCDI back in 2014 when they were at the old place up the road. Expensive, but they fitted me in at incredibly short notice and the car ran perfectly afterwards. Recommended.
