R. 2.What can I say, Brilliant.
The MOT requirements have changed to any warning lights on the dash it is a straight fail.
This was the case with my VX. Having contacted Kev, he managed to fit me in before the MOT expired and sorted out my Swirl Flap and EGR codes.
This was alongside a remap too.
Now the car has passed the MOT since, and the power and torque is there when needed.
Luckily I have the sport button and I can "feel" the results of the remap with the button on. When in "normal" mode, the car behaves standard on 1st and 2nd gear but, once you jump on third (rolling) or 4th ➕, the car has instant urge to progress (from 30mph to 60-70mph).
I can't comment on economy as yet, but so far the car is returning around 41mpg which is the same what it was before the remap. And this is in normal driving to and from work with a bit of weight at the back at times.
I could say Kev knows what he's doing but, what striked me is the confidence. And that was enough for me. He understood the issue with the car and the results speak for themselves.
I had tried to solve the same problem a few months back from another source, but they failed with excessive smoke and dash full of lights.
To conclude, I am another happy customer for KFRVS.
