I disagree with the [very few] negative Google reviews about Steer Auto Group in Northampton. No individual person, including any business or company, can please everyone, nor can it be perfect 24/7. Sometimes, things don't run smoothly for some us but in my experience, I can 100% vouch for Steer, they have been nothing but superb from the outset and their technicians are incredibly skilled. I didn't go direct to Steer for my damage repair either, my insurance company was involved, but even with the added complexity of an insurance claim, Steer proved to me that they know how to treat their customers no matter where the instruction / request has come from. During my Mini's repair, I dealt with Chris, Ben, Jade - all of them were amazing (apologies to the team for any names I've missed). I remember my initial contact with Chris at the very start of the process, he always came back to me if I left him a voicemail. The rest of the team also communicated with me very well. As far as the damage repair goes - just take a look at the photos for yourselves. You would not be able to tell that my Mini had ever experienced even a tiny bump to it. The motoring/vehicle industry can be savage and having come from the industry myself, a bit of appreciation and kindness goes a very long way for the people who work with cars - even if things haven't gone well, I'd always recommend that people take a back seat, chill out and remember that they are dealing with a person (who is there to help you when things aren't going well) - they're not just a member of staff. Thank you again for all of your hard work for me, Steer.

Great service, great communication, great quality repairs. Only downside is that the repair "reports" aren't very detailed. A fully comprehensive report of parts replaced, photos, technical notes observations would be a nice touch.

The repair quality and communication was exceptional. My repair was 'cosmetic' which requires more skill than replacement of panels. STEER Northampton will not disappoint the most discerning customer. In fact they exceed expectations for repairs. A vehicle leaves them as they would expect to expect it back themselves! My wife and I have produced high end personal luggage sets for Aston Martin customers so feel qualified to leave feedback for STEER Northampton.

Remarkable service and faultless repairs! I was contacted by Steer group twice before my repairs were finished to keep me up to date with when my car would be ready, they also contacted me after I collected the car to make sure I was 100% happy with the repairs. Once the repairs were complete I was able to collect my car the same day. I was able to leave my Enterprise hire car with them too which was extremely easy for me! Overall I couldn’t fault Steer Group at all, fast and efficient service, take incredible care for their customers and complete adherence to Covid regulations too! I would one hundred percent use their service over and over again and recommend to anybody. Thankyou guys!

SO HELPFUL! My vehicle was hit by another car, their insurance company choose to use Sheer. I had to rearrange the collection of my vehicle which they were very understanding and helpful. I then had to also request it back earlier than they expected and again their were very helpful. Megan (very friendly) contacted me all the way through giving me updates, which I really apricated. Superb company. The collection driver was polite and courteous to start. They gave me 10 days as a predicted timeline, my car was back in 7 and perfect. Replaced the wheel trims on my company car. Were able to find me an appointment within a couple of days, and offered to send someone out to do the work on my drive, instead of me driving 30 minutes to get there which was much appreciated! Repairs done quickly and to a high quality. Unfortunately my car had to go in just before the christmas and new year period, so meant a delay on my car getting fixed, but this can hardly be blamed on the team there! I was kept updated about what was happening to my car, and less than 24 working hours after I was told they were waiting for a part I had a call telling me my car was ready. Picking it up was east, and they'd even cleaned it for me. On the whole a great experience, and would have no problem recommending them.

Scratch repair to car was excellent however windscreen has been replaced with no explanation or mention at collection. Car was in for 2 weeks, again with no justification for a significant delay over the original 1 week estimate.
