Great workmanship for a reasonable price. Had my service with these guys a few months back and a recently had the cam belt changed too. Highly recommended.

Asked for a check of brakes and wheel alignment, after the car was checked they rang and mentioned that only the rear disks and pads needed replacement + only the fronts were out of alignment. Very fair charge and honest work and completed the same day. Thanks guys, nice to find you.

For over 2 years, my Ford Focus 2012 has been having electrical issues, numerous flat batteries and unable to drive car. AA was called out and they replaced the battery with a Bosch battery, this helped initially then again started getting flat batteries. AA were called out each time, 3 additional times over the 2 years to jump start the car, unable to find a root cause of the problem. In March the car electrics finally gave up, lost all power steering and lights etc, very dangerous trying to get home. Called H&S Performance and they kindly offered to take a look at the car with very short notice, it was towed to their garage, thankfully AA covered this as part of their service. H&S did diagnostics and with my permission replaced the battery with a Ford factory fitted battery, was cheaper than the Bosch battery that was replaced a year earlier. Since March I have had no issues with the electrics. Just a big thankyou to the team at H&S who know what they are talking about, fixed my long running issue and the exemplary customer service they delivered. Would highly recommend! Paul.S

Great job by H&S performance, had some tyres fitted by a National chain who couldn't obviously remember how to balance a wheel. Booked in with H&S to try and cure the wheel wobble, all sorted in under 30 minutes and car now drives smoothly. Thanks

I would highly recommend this garage, I have been impressed with the quality of service I've received on more than one occasion. They all go the extra mile to find the cause of any issue and are friendly, reliable and honest. I know I'll never be overcharged for the work done, and the mechanics will only do what's needed. Although I was told this time to bring my car back if the problem had not been fixed, it appears that they have done a thorough job solving the strange dampness inside my car. I am very happy, and relieved, that H&S could fit me in at the beginning of January and keep my car in the garage overnight to help dry it out. Thank you :)

I would highly recommend this garage, I have been mpressed with the quality of service every time I have visited this garage, great work and brilliant customer services. I personally believe they won't over charge anyone like other garages does, so use at least once and then you know if it is the right garage.

I had a serious issue with my Subaru RB320 over heating. H&S Performance were recommended by quite a few people. They were very helpful & diagnosed the problem straight away. They carried out the repair in a very professional manor & kept me updated on their progress. After the repair was done the engine management light came on a few times. But again a quick trip back to see them & Nathan was more than happy to help me, diagnosing the problem of a split air pipe. They carried out the work to replace the pipe now all is good. Nathan, Craig & James are the guys to see if you need advice or any work carried out on your car. I would highly recommend H&S Performance. 10 out of 10.

I came here after being quoted almost £1000 from my local garage to get work done on my motor after having an interim service. The work was done here for less than £500! I know garages tend to rip off women due to typically not knowing much about cars but these guys here are completely genuine and lovely - talk you through what needs doing why it needs doing and aren't pricey at all! Great service. Called up day before about an oil change and they managed to squeeze me in and complete the next day, friendly service and good advice. Also cool free pen! Only downside as I paid i remembered i get free services where I bought the car, but that's my own stupid fault Haha!

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Happy to explain the issues found by the fault code reader, unlike other places. Also advised on next steps for repair. Wouldn't let me leave without rectifying a small issue. Small, but could have caused major issues with my engine, and only charged me for the part, without labour.

I had my brake pads and discs changed here. The price was competitive, and the service efficient. However, nearly 2 weeks on, the brakes are squeaking on and off, feel somewhat spongy and make creaking noises at full stop, also felt a slight judder in pedal at times. I used brakes gently after done and have driven around 400 miles since. They kindly agreed to take another look and I returned car. The man called me into workshop to show me two suspension arms that he felt had too much movement, said that was probably causing the judder that I had described. I'm not convinced as this was not picked up on a recent MOT and neither at a full service ( 2 separate establishments). I asked about the brake squeaking and noises and he replied "I can't see anything". The car was only on ramp for 15 minutes, I don't feel that the brakes were looked at thoroughly at all. The brakes work, but I don't think it's reasonable to be making these noises, I've not known it when getting new brake discs/pads before Unfortunately, I don't feel confident enough to use them again

Top drawer reliable and trustworthy mechanic

I found this garage through Google.It had high ratings and good customer satisfaction.I would add another star if I could.I called them and told them my car wasn't running and they picked it up at a very affordable rate,same day.They have really customer service,keep you updated and let you know about all mechanical issues.They are really honest,quick and reliable.Fair prices and quotes.I already booked my MOT. It's really hard to find a good garage.I am really happy overall!

Been using these guys for around 5 years now and I can honestly say I've never had an issue with their workmanship or their attitude. A few times I've turned up at 8am, surprising them with some kind of minor issue, and so far they have always gone out of their way to fit me in the same day. A good honest mechanic is hard to come by, give them a try.
