K. C.This is a review about the reception I received when making a telephone enquiry. The person, obviously local, was very knowledgeable. Keen not to spend my money unnecessarily he suggested first examining linkages and if that was the problem could fix it that day. If not they could give a price that day for me to consider. This resulted in the car being booked in in a few days. Based solely on how helpful the person was in the telephone I can recommend giving them a try. Maybe I will be asked to give a review following my car being looked at

I needed my Suzuki Jimney's gearbox reconditioned which initially thought would be too difficult to repair until I found this place. They kept me updated with all the work going on and gave me a clear timescale/ price of the job (reasonably priced). My gearbox was returned in immaculate condition. Its so refreshing to know there are still genuine places and people about. Would highly recommend.

D. B.Fantastic customer service. Took my Vauxhall Movano gearbox to them, as it wouldn’t go in any gears at all. They fixed it the next day and now it’s as good as new. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
J. L.Was advised to use JR Dain from another garage as I had a gearbox issue with my Ford Focus. This was the first time I had heard of or used them. They quickly diagnosed the fault with the gearbox and quoted the price of repair and estimated time to complete the work straight away. They gave excellent communication throughout and finished the job much earlier than expected. Would highly recommend them.
C. A.I took my young daughters Skoda Citigo to JR Dain last month as there was what I believed to be a rattle from the clutch. The engineer took it up the road to test it, came back after 2 minutes and said he felt something underneath was loose rather than a clutch issue. They moved vehicles around to allow access to their ramp and immediately found a loose heat shield around the exhaust. The clip was tightened, the noise disappeared immediately and he would accept no payment - we were in and out in under 5 minutes. This is impressive, he ‘could’ have said it needed to go back for ‘further investigation’ and provided a hefty charge and I would have been none the wiser. This was old skool customer service at its best. I had not been there previously and have no affiliation to the garage.
