Excellent Full service and MOT carried out. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming and phoned me with list of items required for vehicle to pass MOT. Vehicle ready on time and telephoned to say it could be collected. Only surprise was that vehicle hadn’t been washed but I suppose I’ve always used Ford or BMW agents before.

Jason was absolutely amazing. He was super helpful, approachable and informative . He was able to answer any questions I had without being patronising as I have found at some places. Would definitely visit here again. They did an excellent job on my car.

I dropped the tyre off with them on Saturday and was told it wouldn't take long to swap the tyre over on the Monday afternoon. The issue was sorted but when I dropped the car off I was told to leave it with them for 20-30 minutes. I returned after 30 minutes and was left sitting in the waiting area for another 30 minutes. So a 20-30 minute job took an hour. I had to cancel a meeting. I wouldn't have minded but I got there 20minutes early for my appointment. If they had let me know they we're really busy and they would call me when it's done I could have stayed in the pub and done more work. My child care person was an hour late leaving and thus had to work late that evening.

I've booked a battery test on my VW golf before a long trip just to make sure to avoid any breakdown. They tested it in 20 minutes for free and told me that everything was good with over 60% battery life left. No need to replace the battery. Very satisfied with the service, I would definitely recommend them!

Ordered tyres and wheel alignment online, following uneven tyre wear. Check in process, fitting and adjustments were done promptly and efficiently, followed by a courtesy call to say that car was ready for collection. Price was reasonable and competitive with other garages. I would recommend and use their service in the future

I used Halfords Arnold a few years ago and was so dissatisfied with the service, I wrote a terrible review. I decided to use them again as I am lazy and it's my nearest garage. Well, I am now pleased to write a 5 star review as things have changed so much! MOT quick, great price, professional service and honest advice! Highly recommend this garage!

Totally delightful experience from start to finish by the staff at the Arnold branch. Work carried out as agreed major service and Mot Any additional work I was advised of and informed if it needed to been done ASAP or to be checked in a few months time. Booked an MOT service on-line which was easy to do. Delivered the car on time and they had it done in about an hour and contacted me promptly to let me know. The cost was very reasonable £35. Even better they did not try to rip me off by telling me that the car needs all kinds of repairs!

MOT booked Thurs evening on line for Fri AM appointment. All done no hassle car passed great price great service thankyou. Disappointingly they said that both headlights were suddenly out of alignment extra £30 to pay, car has only done a few hundred miles since last MOT, what a coincidence that both headlights had moved.

Service at the auto shop was great. No issues with the staff or service. There is an issue with the online booking as I was told to bring my car I. For 0830 am but my car was not actually booked in until 1pm. It would be better if a more accurate time is given for online booking so you are not without your car all day

Great job - they could have told me it was going to be a bit longer (due to a problem), but it was all sorted with no extra charge. (Already posted this once, but wanted to add that problem was me not maintaining the car often enough, not anything to do with Halfords)

Easy booking online, excellent service in store and helpful staff. I sore my car had finished its MOT as I was sat across the road on a bench. Within 30 seconds, I had a phone call to say it was ready for collection and everything was fine with the car. I walked in and on the table was my paperwork and the keys all ready for me. Delighted with the result, but drop-off time was 11.30am. Discovered my actual appointment wasn't until 3.10pm, so took my car away again till 2pm. Work completed by 2.45pm. Wouldn't have booked if I had known I was expected to leave my car indefinitely.

Easy booking online, excellent service in store and helpful staff. The online system lets you book suitable times to suit you. Staff rang and gave information regarding MOT and work that need to be carried out so it would pass. Given details about other work that needed doing. Paul was very helpful and friendly and seemed to really care about each customer. Provided free tea whilst waiting. Free WIFI and toilet in waiting area.

Paul booked me in last minute as i had a mix up and needed my MOT on the day. The MOT was great value for 30£. Good assessment, advisory was explained well by the mechanic. Once again Halfords Arnold excelled with superb service although they were pushed having few staff to complete all the cars waiting. Thankfully the engineers came up trumps again and Paul provided brilliant support to ensure my car was completed exactly on time. What ever Halfords pay these guys its not enough.

Halfords always do a proper professional job, after using Kams of colwick for my brakes ( never again ) Halfords sorted out the mess from before and my brakes are back to there best, polite and helpful spoke to me about the problem and the solution, I've had major services off Halfords before and will be definitely sticking with them in future. Service at Halfords was good, there were a couple of issues e.g. one of the engineers dropped a windscreen wiper blade and broke the windscreen but Halfords arranged for it to be replaced without any qubbling, I had to return the car after they hadn't fitted the breaks correctly but again that was quickly resolved. If there hadn't been any issues the review would have been better

Fantastic service. Had new bulbs recently (not here) but didn't seem to illuminate the road. Popped in and was dealt with by Liam. I was back on the road in five minutes problem solved no charge. Top bloke. Top service. Highly recommended.
