My only groan is I asked for a quote and never got a call back. This resulted in me going elsewhere as my logic is, if they can't be bothered to call me back, then they don't deserve my money! I care very much about the customer experience. I'll probably find a different local mechanic because of this.

T. H.Oil and air-con needed doing on my work hire before a long trip to Cornwall and trying to get Europcar to sort anything is like pulling teeth. Called up and explained, they booked me in and sorted it straight away so I could get on the road. Great customer service from Chris, a credit to the company.

T. V.Had my MOT done here yesterday for the first time using Halfords. I only had it done here as my MOT had expired and needed it doing asap. The website was easy to use and I came across this Halfords which is not near me but after the service and politeness of the lovely guys there, it was worth the travel. The receptionist gentleman was very polite and professional, gave me a time it would be finished and then rang me to confirm it was done. It only took half and hour which was perfect. The guy from the garage pulled my car round and unlike other garages took the seat cover off for me and took it away. In all, would definitely recommend and if it wasn't for the fact I have a payment plan with my supplier, I would return here yearly. Thanks lovelies!
T. H.Come in the morning with company van for diagnostics. Diagnosed and repaired the same day. They've removed and replaced the fuel filter. I've got a FORD Transit 66 plate. Has been serviced by Ford 1 month before warning light on. Price was £50(labour included) for fuel filter replaced ( cost is low due to fleet contract with Halfords)

I took my car here for its MOT test recently having been told by a so called Mercedes specialist that it would need around £700 spending on new brake pipes. I’d already had a good look at the brake pipes and even though I’m no mechanic they looked absolutely fine to me. I asked the team here to check the brake pipes as I was quite concerned following what I had been told and they said there was nothing that needed doing to the car at all, so I really do think my friendly Mercedes specialist was simply trying to rip me off.
I’d recommend this branch of Halfords Autocentres to anyone.

I feel like I can come to this place with concerns about my car and get professional advice I can trust. It really feels like they want to do their best to keep you as a customer.
a. t.Booked a MOT at very short notice. Although part of a nationwide chain ~ Tom was efficient, civil and straightforward. Didn't try to load the bill and I would use again without hesitation.
S. H.I have a service /mot plan with the dealership I got my car from, which I pay £20 a month for and they couldn't fit me in for an mot. I found Halfords who fit me in straight away and it works out to be cheaper than what i’m paying for with the service plan. Mot was done quickly and friendly staff. Cancelled my service plan and will be going to Halfords for mot/services.
T.Sent car in for MOT and Service. Got a phone call saying car had failed MOT and would need to keep it in over the weekend due to them being busy. Got a call back a few hours later to say that they managed to do all the work and my car was ready to go. Now runs perfectly.
Richard on the phone was very friendly and appeared easily approachable face to face.

J. D.Picked up a flat tyre on my way to work and was dropped off at this Autocentre. Whilst they didn't have my tyre in stock they were able to get it there by mid morning and I was able to collect the car later that day after they called me to confirm it was complete. Was exactly what you wish for when you have an emergency car issue.
The staff were knowledgeable and friendly were able to give me rough time estimates for the replacement. I dropped it off in about 5-10mins and picked it up even quicker. I wished all my car troubles were resolved this quickly!

R. T.My tyre needed repairing. I thought it was a puncture but it turned out there was corrosion on the alloy wheel itself so they took the tyre off, sanded the wheel down and then treated it with tar before putting the tyre back. This was all included in the price. They also put the spare wheel back under my car without me having to ask.
The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful too. And the online booking system was really easy to use.
I'd definitely recommend their service!

Took my car for a MOT, owned up to not having any screen wash and knowing a bulb needed changing....
Also, the oil level was so low it didn't measure on the dipstick....😪
They put water in the screen wash, changed the bulb and filled with oil....
There was an additional £19 charge which I felt was very fair....
I didn't have either bulb or oil at home so would have needed to buy both anyway....
R. W.Pleasant service, nice man who dealt with it - but never accept the first price quoted! I took my car in for a MOT, and it needed 2 x breakpads and discs on the front, they canme back with £225!!!!! For a fiat punto that is... Settled on £160 as I said that was way too much and I know I could have still got it cheaper elsewhere, but It was a Saturday and I needed my car on the Monday for work.
I do like the split payment option they offer you where you can split the bill via direct debit into more manageable installments - I did take this option up, but left without realizing I had no receipt of the payment, no direct debit gaurentee paperwork or anything. I was simply asked to 'sign here' on the computer screen and was looked at gone out when I was trying to actually read the T&C's.

H.This is a great place to get all kinds of parts for your car, you may have to order them online first to ensure that they have them in stock as they may need to order them in. You can also get Nextbase Dash cameras there and various oils ect. It's worth a visit and there are many stores around the country to visit. They are mostly situated on retail parks and not in the high street.
