E. R.Generally a good service.
The technician seemed honest when he dealt with me face to face.
In person he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, which was positive. Nor did he attempt to exaggerate the, (very minor) issue my vehicle had.
Written report after inspection was significantly different to what I was told in person.
M. H.Karl and the team are a fantastic bunch. They are very professional and have great attention to detail. It's not often you find a garage you can trust and I have always found the work to be top notch and for a fair price. They always get the work done in the time frame they quote too which again is a rarity in my experience of this industry. As well as recently having had my tires and brakes done here I have had a few MOTs done as well. One thing I really like is the report emails that you get which fully documents everything nicely.

I left my car for about 2 hours and I was able to check its progress through my email address as this was updated while the car was in this place. After the inspection was competed ,I was provided with a written report for the findings. I was also given safety advice which I really appreciated. All these was truly for free as I was initially skeptical.This service gave me peace of mind by knowing the condition of my tyres and also it made me aware of the necessary advisory steps to take esp as we are heading to cold months. Well done Halfords. I will highly recommend this free tyre checks to all drivers .

The team attended to me politely & promptly at car drop off.
Communication was excellent. They explained what they would be doing and an estimate of time required - they confirmed mobile details, and informed me that they would call with an update.
They called promptly with a clear update and that vehicle required additional work to pass the MOT. They indicated that I could collect the car and freely obtain quotes elsewhere for the work required.
I was aware of the additional costs at other dealerships and the rates offered by Halford were very reasonable. I opted to have the work completed with Halfords. Again, excellent communication and a timely update was provided when car was ready to collect.
Service provided was polite, prompt, efficient, excellent value, stress-free and very helpful.

J.Having been told that I would be contacted when the car was ready and having asked if it would take about an hour - without contradiction - I did not get a phone call or text and decided to go back to the garage after 2 hours to find the car already on the forecourt. I have no idea how long it had been there. 2 hours would have been plenty of time to replace 4 tyres! The manager apologised for not contacting me. Not very good service.
D. V. D. M.Booked my MOT test with only 2 days to spare. The guys were very accommodating and got me a next day appointment. They were very thorough with the test and found issues not even picked up by the vehicle inspection I had the previous week.

R.I went and took my Audi for a free brake and cam belt check by booking online. Once I arrived the staff at the reception was very helpful and guided me through everything.
I left my car there for 2 hours and confirmed their findings and that my brakes are fine for now but the cam belt does need changing as per manufacturers recommendation. They booked my slot and told me how long it would take.
The job was finished in 6 hours which I was surprised as it’s normally a lengthy process.
My biggest praises are for the reception team for keeping me updated through the whole process and for not charging for the water pump change.
Very much recommend this location no force selling or false information.

Stopped on the off chance of getting a repair done and within 5 minutes they were onto it. Soon figured out how to access the bulb in the wing mirror and within 10 mins I was back on the road again

R.Fantastic service. Had a nail in the tyre and the vale cap had seized on. No issues for them. Got me straight In fixed the issue at minimal cost. Plugged the puncture. Replaced the valve all in about 20 mins. Will happily travel back to that Halfords for the service alone.
M. F.Centre Manager, Richard really helped reassure us of the work advised to be carried out on our car, he didn't try to sell products and services to us knowing our financial situation. He took the time to explain everything to us and gave us time to go away and make a decision when it suited us.
J. H.Took car in for a wheel alignment. I accidentally booked online for the wrong day but they managed to fit me in. I did expect a before/after wheel alignment report but didn't get one, but they did do a vehicle health check which highlighted that I needed a new battery. Car handles the same after the wheel alignment as it did before, so without a report I'm not sure if my wheels were actually out of alignment or if I've just spent £32 for a free health check.

C. M.Had the car booked in for a major service, on arrival the manager was friendly and informative and explained I'd get a call in the next hour detailing if any extra work was needed. The car had passed its MOT elsewhere just five days previously at an MOT only garage (something I always do) with no advisories so I knew all was good and to my pleasant surprise, albeit 3 hours later not 1, I got the call to say the car was in excellent condition and no extra work was required and they'd crack on with the service now. So what had they been doing for the last 3 hours then? Fortunately I wasn't in a hurry to get the car back anyway. The next call came about 4 hours later to say the car was ready. I'd happily use this garage again and it was good to know they hadn't made up anything false that needed doing. I liked the honesty there. 1 star lost only due to the time taken but as long as you're not in a hurry this garage is fine.

J. F.My car had sadly broken down so i had the RAC recover it to Halfords for me.
They looked at it the next day and when i called to check in they advised exactly what had gone wrong, explained what they needed to do and had already ordered in the correct parts to ensure my vehicle would be back with me as soon as possible.
The price was OK, a little more than i had expected (i hadn't planned for a breakdown so any price was unexpected to be fair) but for the quality of work and the warranty/peace of mind Halfords gave me it was definately worth the price.
I've had my car a year and this is the ONLY service centre I've used. They've done the MOT, interim service checks and now a repair. The staff are super friendly and are happy to explain things, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was worried about coming to another garage .. but no Stewart put me at ease straight away , all the work I needed doing was done quickly and efficiently and I also did the payment plan which was absolutely great for me too and such a massive help for me . H.This is a great place to get all kinds of parts for your car, you may have to order them online first to ensure that they have them in stock as they may need to order them in. You can also get Nextbase Dash cameras there and various oils ect. It's worth a visit and there are many stores around the country to visit. They are mostly situated on retail parks and not in the high street.
