Really good. They managed to get me in for an MOT and fix a coolant leak at the same time. They phoned me to keep me up to date with everything that was needed - for the MOT, new windscreen wipers (and I they really did need changing after 6 years) and progress updates with the leak. I really don't know how they could've done a better job. People seem to be complaining that the person they spoke to was rude to them. I can't say I found this. It was the mechanics who called me to keep me up to date and theyvwere really pleasant. The guy on the front desk wasn't exactly chatty, but I was dropping off my car for an MOT - how much conversation do you expect first thing in the morning? He wasn't rude, he just did his job efficiently and without frills. And the job they did was excellent and done much faster than expected. 5 stars from me.

Always really helpful, reasonably priced and excellent customer service. I always feel that they are going to do the best for my vehicle and they will put themselves out to help. My husbands car broke down on the driveway and they fixed it the same day. We now have both cars serviced annually here and after a year having mine serviced somewhere else when I bought a new car I will be sticking to Jim Steel as they are above and beyond the service I got at a well branded garage in Derby. I trust them to do a great job and also listen to budgets when things don't go to plan happily recommend them to friends and family and anyone local to the Beeston area.

I had to get my car repaired after my usual garage didn't do the job properly. I found excellent service at Jim Steel's. Free pick-up and drop-off at short notice. Job done in a couple of hours at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

I simply cannot recommend Jim Steel enough, I've had 2 cars through their garage for the last few years and they have never failed to give me a very fair price (significantly cheaper than all other local garages) and have always made me feel like a priority to them. I wouldn't go anywhere else and recommend them to anyone.

The staff were extremely friendly and contacted me regularly to discuss the repairs needed and to inform me of the cost. I had my car back the same day.
