Came here for AC re-gas 24/6/22. Got me in within 30 minutes of initial phone call. Waited in pleasant waiting room whilst work was carried out (take a book...about 1 hour's wait). £45 for Focus regas - very reasonable as lots of places charge £60 or more now !!! Many thanks !

Our extended family have been using this excellent garage for many years now. They are extremely knowledgeable and you can be confident they will only ever do work that is genuinely needed. They do servicing and repair work on modest to very expensive cars but are very reasonable on pricing. Can use genuine manufactures or very good alternative parts, whichever you prefer. Standard of work is first class and can be done in line with any manufacturers requirements to keep the warranty in tact. I highly recommend MGC to anyone no matter how expensive, new or old your vehicle is.

The Audi main dealership next door could learn a lot about the meaning of Customer Service from Mike and his team. Whilst they might believe that 5 staff all knowing your name when you arrive, a highly polished floor , a 'free' car wash and offering 'free' coffee defines great customer service I would suggest a friendly and straight forward interaction along with a reasonable price is all most customers want. At a main dealer I always get the feeling that I am helping fund a big shiny showroom and matching outfits rather than simply getting the job done right with courtesy and friendly service. MGC might, on first impression, look like the poorer relation next door but in my opinion it is superior in all the ways that matter. Oh and they don't automatically charge me for windscreen wash and then ask me for a 5 star review. Clearly, if you have a new car and warranty is important then a main dealer may be your choice but I will continue to use MGC wherever possible as they just deliver what's needed and offer true value. I used to use MGC very heavily, with two family cars and a company van. However due to having a company car and moving roles, I had no need for five years. However, recently got a new role and a personal car. This developed a fault, had this diagnosed then called MGC out of the blue, despite not having spoken to them for five years, they remembered me, ordered the part and fitted it the next morning at 0845. This is what service is all about, safe to say I'll be using them again for MOTs, servicing and other issues. I can't recommend these guys enough, top class!

I have used MGC for all my car maintenance for over 10 Years and have had faultless service the entire time, but last week they surpassed even their own already high standards. Faced with a 600 mile trip to France, I got in my car at 7.30am to make the short trip to the petrol station to fill up, before loading the car for our fortnight's holiday. As soon as I drove away, I knew something was wrong and I immediately drove to MGC as I was concerned the problem would only worsen on the long trip. With no appointment or prior warning I turned up on Mike's doorstep. Already with a busy Friday ahead of them, they stopped what they were doing to get me back on the road, which they managed to do by lunchtime. I cannot thank these guys enough, they quite literally saved my holiday.

I know people say beware of 5 star reviews, but it’s really not the case with MGC. I’ve brought my car and the other half’s car for almost 10 years now and I cannot fault the service each time. Mike and the team tell you what they’re going to do, what it’s likely to cost and then they do it. No messing. Ok, the courtesy cars aren’t brand spanking new Audis, but I’ve never had to worry about them! If the main Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati etc dealer in Nottingham is happy to use them, I think they’re good enough for my Ford C-Max!
