Giving these chaps a 5 star review. I'm an old guy who needed and upgraded stereo put in my 2014 VW CC, and went along initially and spoke to Will who gave me a great demo on the Alpine iLX-702D. After a quick visit to Australia before Christmas I returned to the shop and placed order. It had gone up in price slightly but the guys very kindly fitted it for the original quoted price. That's why I always like buy locally from a well established firm... Decent blokes. I'm very pleased with quality of the instalation and service I recieved from these guys. 100% recommended them. As an old guffer there are a few things I don't quite understand on this unit, but I feel sure if I nip down there they will point me in the right direction. Also going to visit them to see about getting the bigger model of this put into my Land Rover Discovery 2.

This is a great company. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and down to earth. I recently had a CarPlay audio system installed in my 2006 Volvo and it is the best decision I have made in a long, long time. The new equipment sounds 20 times better than the standard CD player it has replaced and the speakers really now have something great to work with. It also looks like it is originally intended to be in the car. This felt like quite a big financial outlay but it really was worth every single penny. I don't really want to get out of my car when I reach my destination. I am absolutely thrilled and would recommend Oxford Car Audio to anyone and everyone. Special shout out to Casey who saw me through the whole thing and shared my joy when he demoed my stereo in-situ. Thanks everyone at OCA.

Like other reviewers, I was impressed by the in-depth knowledge and experience of the staff in connecting a very wide range of sophisticated head-up devices with a very wide range of vehicles. In my case, they integrated an iLX-702D Alpine Unit, which works well with an iPhone 12, launched in 2020, with a Volvo S60 made in 2005. Given the sophistication of contemporary car electronics, this company is providing an invaluable and much-needed service. Many thanks.

Brilliant expert service from this business. They assisted my partner when she called them asking for a wiring harness to fit a new stereo to my car, and they were happy to provide phone support when I needed advice on 'the blue lead'. Later the same day I phoned again as my headunit wouldn't fit properly and they offered to look at it for me. An hour later they'd fitted a better facia plate, tidied up my install and hoovered my car out. Definitely a company you can trust.

Fantastic service. I called in for a look at their options and ended up having a system expertly fitted in 90 minutes. Their knowledge is encyclopedic and they seem far more interested in selling you the right piece of kit rather than the most expensive. Would definitely recommend and will certainly use again.

Would highly recommend Mark and his team, very helpful in giving advice on a new alarm, had a very old Clifford Concept 50x fitted back in 1999 so was due for an upgrade. They took me though all the options decided to go with the Clifford 650 mkIII. Took a while to get booked in due to Covid but was kept up to date and booked in as soon as possible. The handover was handled well and Covid compliant they kept me up to date during the job and let me know of issues found. Really pleased with the service I received and the job that was done. I would highly recommend Oxford Car Audio.

The best Audio shop I've been to. Customer service was excellent, I really wanted to hear the sub in the car before I purchased, Mark was very helpful and went above and beyond to meet my needs on a short notice visit. I got ghetto fit new sub and amp and take my time with my music to make sure I was satisfied before I purchase. Very happy with the final quote they gave me too, now just need to sell my old equipment and gather some penny's.

Oxford Car Audio upgraded my S5 for me with an Alpine unit and camera system - and I couldn't be happier with their work. Their after sales service is also superb - they have answered all of my question and responded quickly to some issues I had. In other words they stand by the work that they do for you. I am definitely going to go back to them for other upgrades - and by the way I live north of Manchester. They listen to what you want, and help you to take the right path. Great service, but could have been a very different story. I took the truck in that I have leased since new and recently bought. It had a dealer fitted radio/bluetooth thing and camera on it and frankly, apart from the camera, the unit was useless. Couldn't sort out the radio stations easily and more importantly, the bluetooth had a mind of its own and often wouldn't work at all. I went on about this so much that when the opportunity came to buy the truck at a great price, my wife said; "you've complained so much about the radio, don't buy that truck". I decided to change the radio instead and bought the truck. The dealer fit must have been the issue with the unit as Oxford Car Audio struggled to get everything to work. There was a problem with the steering cables, that meant the controls couldn't be operated from the steering wheel, then the camera kept cutting out. Eventually, they also replaced the camera and understandably, they charged me for the camera, but not for the labour, nor for all the extra cabling and labour to sort the problems out, Mark even picked the truck up from my home address and returned it once it was completely fixed. Oxford Car Audio didn't complain and there was no whingeing. It didn't seem to be an issue to go the extra mile and they certainly did. Oxford Car Audio behaved impeccably and I'd happily recommend them.

Couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong with the wiring kit for my radio. The lads came out immediately and got it working. Done and dusted within 20 minutes. Will go straight there next time!

These guys can pretty much do anything from the simple rewiring of something, upgrading head units, mad custom boot builds, air ride suspension, sound proofing + way more! Been to this shop many times, coming back each time because the service and advice I get is always top notch. They have always finished any job of mine on time, and often will over deliver, on more than one occasion tidying up my previous amateurish wiring pro-actively, without charging for it. Speaking from experience, it may be cheaper to goto Halfords (or another chain store - I mentioned Halfords as another review did) and get a cheap system installed for a cheap installation charge, but as with all things, you get what you may for, If you go budget, you get budget. I cannot recommend Oxford Car Audio any enough, and will keep using them for years to come.

Thanks for sorting my stereo out but at the same time I asked to have a sub fitted and they said they would try there best fair enough so they started wireing the sub and I said I'd have ago at finishing the rest as they was busy only to find out when I get home it's the wrong kit a 8 gauge kit for a 1600w sub and amp now have to spend more money on more wires as won't be returning :(
