Its impossible to get through for service. Tried few times. I usually been using my halfords local in west London for few years.and always giving best service. Now moved near Peterborough and I'm bit disappointed.

Booked an MOT on line which was very easy. Arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment as requested and handed my keys over. Was told the MOT would take approx one hour and they would phone me when it had been done. An hour went by and no phone call, but I could see my car in the parking area. Waited outside Reception (only one customer allowed inside due to COVID regs) for another 20 minutes, but still no call. Eventually, someone came from the workshop to ask if they could help and after I explained, they apologised for me not being phoned. Picked up my keys and paperwork and left. I would have left a lower score but the MOT tester found my recently lost £10 note under the driver's seat (many thanks Matt!).

Very efficient service from booking in online to dropping of the car, receiving telphone updates on additional work and, finally, collecting the car. Only point to make is I should have left the Service History book on the passenger seat to get it all stamped and while the reception guy was excellent it would have been useful to me if he had also asked about the servicing handbook.

I was a little nervous having booked and then reading some of the reviews, especially after the booked MOT had to be rearranged due to staff absence, but life happens and if you don't have an MOT tester on the day there is nothing they can do. The rearranged appt however and the service I received on the day was efficient, professional and very satisfactory. I would be happy to use them again

I visited Halfords as a friend informed me that they replace bulbs(Rear Lights) on cars, Well they do this & where very professional in doing so, The young lad, Cant Remember his name but at the pboro branch, Fengate, Was such a nice gentleman, Polite, Friendly, Basically couldnt do enough for me, I only had 1 rear light out but he replaced both for a fantastic price £20, God id gone to a garage to av this done the labour charges would probably been triple that, All i can say is Thank you to that young lad, Keep up the good work.

MOT and service for both mine and my wife's vehicles. Excellent service and helpful staff. Would recommend. Only problem I had was wife's car (Honda CRV with runner boards) would not fit on the lifting ramp at Maskew Road, so service had to be carried out at Padholme Road: the lifting point of contact would have been the runner board. Would have been nice to been given details of any restrictions when I booked on line. Overall very happy with the experience.

Excellent. My broken car was dumped on them off the back of a transporter at 4:30pm on Friday. 2pm on Sunday I got the call: "All fixed sir". A very fair fixed price quoted after investigation. I have been using this branch for some years. Emergency repairs have been few. Quality work, good prices and courteous service have been consistent.

Back indicator stopped working, booked and had the car in the next day. Replaced there and then, £13.50 for the bulb and labour and it was done in 10 minutes. Will definitely go back.

I must say I'm disappointed with this place. Although it's knew as one of the best available in the UK or so I heard, when my husband left our car to be fixed, we make pretty clear that we would need the car in three days. However, they didn't finish in time and didn't offer another one to substitute it. Finally, when we called the head office, they told us to go and get our own car. Which means it was possible to finish the service or the car was already done and they were a bit disorganized and didn't know what was going on. The car was finally good, anyway, and seems has been fixed.

Took my vehicle as the air con was pushing out hot air on cold setting. The Manager was extremely pragmatic and helpful. He clearly explained the potential issues and remedial work required and associated costs. Having explained the 45 minute timings, the re-gas took some 20 minutes, leaving me extremely satisfied with everything he said. I would highly recommend this auto centre and in particular the attitude and helpfulness of the Centre Manager.

Gt service. Car dropped off at 12.30ish and all serviced and MOTed plus a windscreen clean all done and sorted by 4.30pm thank you. The anything that happened was locked my car then went to open it as id left something in it and wouldnt unlock at first but left it a couple of mins and its ok now. It would have been good to have a print out of the treads on the tyres as had to ask what they were. Told 4s and 5 and 3 on rear nearside so will have to get the rear 1 changed in the next few weeks.

Took my car here for an MOT as it was on special price. When I left there was a strange noise - this ultimately resulted in bits falling off the bottom of my car! According to Halfords, 'they didn't touch anything' but, with respect (and a bit of shouting) they did agree to fix it and subsequently gave me a courtesy car for the week that it took them. By all accounts, the bits that fell off could have fallen off at any time, however, the fact that it wasn't mentioned when they did the MOT was an error on their behalf.
