Even though they/their mechanics partners had my car for the best part of 4 month due to delays in parts arriving (back order and Covid), Spencer was marvellous in giving weekly updates and keeping me informed of the current position, I felt really reassured and knew that my vehicle was in good hands. They coordinated everything between the company doing the mechanical work and themselves who did the body work and to top it off they have done an incredible job, highly recommended!

A.No one wants to need the services of a car body centre, but Lovells made the whole experience smooth and without any additional stress. They collected my car from work and kept me updated throughout the whole process. My MOT was also due that week, so they arranged my annual service and MOT for a very competitive price at the same time. I will definitely go back to have it serviced there.
My car was returned in a pristine condition, it has not been so shiny since it left the showroom!

p. h.I used Lovells following a minor scrape on a car and this was the recommended bodyshop from my insurers.
The car came back looking great and Spencer who was looking after us was extremely courteous and pleasant, delivering a courtesy car and collecting ours, then returning it when completed.
A. L.This was an accident repair. Elmo arrange for my car to be collected from my work place and assisted me to get my hire car. As my car was in for repair during the second COVID 19 lockdown it took a bit longer than usual but Elmo and the team kept me updated by phone and text. I was notified in good time to arrange to refuel my hire car. My car was delivered back to my workplace and had been cleaned and sanitised. The repair look good and I was pleased to get my car back. Thank you.

From ther outset Lovells were 100% professional,courteous and friendly.They did a great job repairing my van and it is back looking as good as new. You would never know that my van had been damaged.The repair took a little longer than estimated but the wait was worth it.
Happy to say that I would recommend Lovells based on my experience with them.

I. A.I took my car for repair and was dealt with by a gentleman called Snowden. The customer service provided by Mr Snowden was exceptional and beyond expectation, i was given regular updates on the repair and the works were carried out despite the covid situation. In terms of the works which had been carried out the quality was very good.

S. G.Just got my car back after 3 weeks in at Lovells. It had a rear bumper repair with respray, new rear light cluster and one rear parking sensor. This was done through my insurance and was given courtesy car. I was told it would be 2 weeks so was a bit disappointed as we entered the 3rd week and still no sign of the return of my car.
Now I finally have my car back it looks very good and I'm happy with repairs, I was saddened with the length of time it has taken, I have had to phone several times to chase them up.
It has taken 2 days to get passed by Quality control and to be cleaned..!
Some of the office staff seem to lack knowledge of the processes that have been used to repair my car which doesn't really instil confidence. Maybe some better training or experience on the repair floor is needed.
E. R.Thank you for doing a Brillant job fixing my passenger door after it was damaged. I was always kept up to date with the repairs on my car and couldn’t fault the communication. Would recommend!
D. L.They know what they are doing and get a good result but so seem to be quite slow with how they operate and are not the quickest at replying to messages.
My fix to the car (new rear bumper and spray) took 2 weeks and then was not ready when they said so took another 2 days to have the car ready.

M. L.Front office staff were professional but, sadly, quality of body repair workmanship presented to me today was unacceptable. Panel alignment and fit was poor, and paint finish on door edge felt like a hacksaw blade. Another area of paint damage from the original accident was completely missed. And a couple of parking dings had appeared which weren't there when the car went in for repair.
Edit - I have increased this to 3 stars following prompt rectification of the faults listed above. But why didn't they get things right in the first place? Quality assurance procedures need to be improved.
