Took my campervan to Ray and the team, and it turned out to be an electrical issue not a diesel one, so he brought in a sparky to look at it. Sadly they cannot help me due to it being complicated, but I'm impressed that he did not charge me for his time, as he could not fix the problem. I know where to come next time I have an issue though.

I was recommended to go to this garage after my car broke down and it did not disappoint. I managed to get my car there and they looked at it straight away. Showed me everything they were doing to work out what was wrong and explained everything in plain English for me. The repairs were done by the next day. I can not recommend this garage enough. Got to say a massive Thankyou to the team. My fuel pump went on my diesel, and I spoke to the team and they knew exactly the issue and advised me on the cost of repair and the work involved for such a repair. Being told what is involved is amazing. The cleanliness of garage is outstanding. Very rare you come across a workshop so clean, that in itself makes you feel comfortable. Me being me had to ask lots of questions and they answered each question and was happy to go into further depth. The team are very welcoming and easy to speak to. Such a refreshing experience. I would definitely recommend. Their knowledge is outstanding. Their patience with people is incredible and the level of depth they go through to help is amazing. Cannot Thankyou enough.

We took our Honda diesel to City Auto Diesel after an injector leak. Had our car fixed by Ray, he kept me informed about the progress throughout the day, which I found reassuring. Those long waits can be very anxious times. I was very inspired by the knowledge and the customer service I received and had no anxiety at all. I knew I was in good hands. They came highly recommended to me and I have to say I can see why. Absolute brilliant service, great customer service, amazing repairs and cost effective aswell. Just had 6x old X5 (170k on the clock) diesel injectors in for test. All failed and the cost of replacement injectors would have been more than the cars worth. They showed me how they test and gave me the reassurance needed for them to overhaul them. The team there gave me prompt updates with regards to progress and they were all turned around within a few days. The service didn't stop there as I was given great tips on the installation (even letting me borrow a special tool overnight!! Thanks Ray!!). Car is performing very well thanks to their help!!

My Freelander had been braking down and not starting for 2 months. After spending £400 trying to get it fixed I was told by a garage there was nothing else they could do. I was recommended to City Auto Diesel and have been truly amazed with their service. After initially talking to them on the phone I felt confident with their knowledge and friendly approach and felt if they couldn't fix it nobody could. My car was taken to them by a breakdown lorry and they fixed it the next morning at a very reasonable price. For the first time I feel I can rely on and trust my car after thinking I was going to have to scrap it. Having tried to fix my fuel pump cheaply by having self appointed 'guru's' work on it I decided to draw a line in the sand of lost monies and have a professional outfit repair my fuel pumps leaks, worn parts and set timing. Blooming good job that I did! The previous 'guru' had forgotten to replace the fuel tensioner securing plate and the tensioner itself simply fell off when Ray's team began working on it.....could have been a disaster. They placed the necessary parts, fixed all the leaks, set the timing and replaced the tensioner and belt. Immediately on start up it was much smoother, more quiet at tick over and had gained at least 10HP - fantastic results. If you buy cheap, you buy twice - so true. I should have gone straight to these guys from the get-go. Big thanks to Ray and his team for taking the job on and doing such a good job.

I cannot praise this garage and all their staff highly enough for getting my car back on the road. My car broke down and nobody in my area wanted it as it was fuel related so it got towed to Ray at city auto diesels. Thankfully there was a cancellation the next day and they got straight on it allowing me to get my car back for the weekend. But that's not the end of the story as the part turned out to be faulty and they had it back completely at their expense. The next day I wasn't happy with something so they told me to bring it straight back and looked at it thoroughly until diagnosed it was brake related and not the newly installed parts fault. Everyone there bent over backwards and I 100% recommend this garage to anyone that is experiencing fuel related issues. They do not give up until they diagnose the problem and they are all thoroughly nice people. Thank you!!!

My car has been in and out of another garage for weeks on end having broken down a dozen times with no clear answer and being told to drive it around until it breaks down. Broke down this morning, took it to these guys instead at 11. They said they probably couldn't look at it until tomorrow (saturday) or monday. 2 hours later i get a call to say they've diagnosed the fault and car would be ready at 3! Car now running like a dream. They didn't rely on the onboard computer (which was showing no faults) but went through the data logs and used good old fashioned senses like listening to the engine rather than relying on technology. Very happy with the price, the speed and condition my car was returned in :-)

Could not praise this garage enough.We were here on a weekend break,car was playing up..Popped into garage on the off chance which was shortly closing as it was a Saturday lunchtime...
