First time I used this garage this week and it won’t be the last! Very impressed with the service given. The man who dealt with me was called Scott and he was the politest & friendliest person I’ve come across in a while. So helpful. I needed the car back for the school run so he completed the MOT & Service first to ensure I was able to collect my child. I will definitely be returning back to this garage!

I always bring my Audi to this garage for repairs and maintainance and have done for a few years now. I have nothing but good things to say about it! They never rip you off (as I have found with other garages in the past), are always really professional, friendly and helpful. I find the prices to be very reasonable as well and if they say the car will be fixed same day, it will be! I have rung up a few times just for some advice about something that went wrong with my car and they were more than happy to advise over the phone which is so helpful. On 2 occasions I have bought it in concerned about a potential fault, both times the guys took the car in and couldnt find anything wrong and didn't charge me for investigating, just brilliant service. I wouldn't go anywhere else now and would reccomend to anyone.

I took my car in for a service and Mot with a couple of extra parts I needed to be sorted out. The gentleman on the front desk was really friendly, yet professional and made the whole process easy. It is a bit tricky to find parking so I went early and there was plenty of space. I felt safe in relation to the covid safety measures and all in all it was a pleasant experience. Absolutely flawless service. I've had 4 tyres and full front brake disc replacement and pad replacement from this centre. Both times have been hassle free, all the staff I've spoken with there so far have been super friendly and they've respected and cared for my vehicle, it was exactly as how I left it, no dirt inside or anything misplaced. They offered to repair small areas that I did not explicitly ask for and there was no haggling for a higher price or anything. (In my case it was a loose CV boot) The service I had here, plus the free brake pad scheme on offer made it a no brainer that I must come here again for general service on the car.

Had the heater control valve replaced on the Wife's car. Was given an estimate of between £50-£60 when dropping the car off. On picking it up the bill was actually £74.80. Not bad but a bit more than the original quote. Service was quick though and easy.

Coming from the Midlands, I had noticed my car had been hit causing the rear fog light to be damaged, however, informed that it would take a couple of days to order parts and for its repair. Sadly, I was due to travel to Plymouth, Devon in a day, therefore, thanked the individual and continued my journey to Plymouth. Upon arriving in the city I visited two branches, the first (Exeter st.) which proved no help, stating this is not a service that the company offers (repairs/services), nor did he bother getting up off his seat to even look at what I was badly explaining of the damage. I gathered this was pointless and decided to look elsewhere (Halfords Crownhill branch). The reception centre was somewhat empty as the employees were tending to other vehicles, however, it was here that I sorted my car out and saved myself quite a bit of cash in the process. I would like it noted that the staff were uber polite and friendly, something I have not discovered much coming from a minority background into this city for the last 8 months, but also strove to help me with my problem. I would definitely like to commend Anton for not only his manners, composure, and manners but also for his fast thinking and ingenuity when faced with a problem. Anton, and Scott (in parts). 1. Uber polite, respectful, helpful, and friendly. 2. Explained to me the situations, remedies, and options - great communication skills 3. Quick thinking and problem solving. 4. Taking initiative of his own accord. 5. Adherence to company policies, and Government social distancing rules. 6. Short wait time, and very speedy turnaround. First visit to this garage, and I would definitely return My only niggle, it is difficult for parking etc. however, this is no fault of the mechanics, and is purely based on location.

Covid measures were in place so safety on arrival was never an issue, i handed the keys over and within 5 minutes my car was inside the garage jacked up ready to carry out the repair. I was on site no more than 30 minutes before I was out the door heading home again having the work completed. The online service imo was spot on, i booked the slot at my own convenience & paid before arriving which helps put the mind at rest. Receiving a free tyre health check with the invoice via email was the icing on the cake for me, one happy customer.

There is a small waiting room but it is also close to Crownhill shops to pass the time. The toilet (if for customers i don't know) is not particularly nice and could do with a clean. I was there in the last week, after about 5 months from a full service of my car done by them, when an alert came "reduce engine oil" while car was on the go. Halfords folks promptly attended to it and checked oil manually using the stick, which showed everything's ok, despite half an inch difference, so close to the proper line in the stick, thereby making it impossible to judge and benefit of doubt could've been given to either party. Then I showed the mechanic, thanks to the net, when measured electronically by the car's system it appears half a litre more is in. However, I also realized it can't be that much more as half a litre, as measured manually it's almost the normal quantity. They offered to take some oil out but I decided to give the car some days to settle the matter on its own. I also had another message "defective lamp" which they voluntarily accepted to check without hesitation. The wonderful mechanic sought it out in seconds and corrected it without replacing any part. They didn't charge me anything but ensured it's no big issue. The message came continuously and I was forced to go there and ask them to take some oil out as they promised to which they readily agreed. I've no hesitation in adding the front office gentlemen and the mechanic was overwhelmingly friendly throughout the process and charges for any of this was never even discussed. It's been three days and still that message didn't come, which I hope will not come ever. In my honest opinion, Halfords Auto staff are outwardly and inwardly warm and helpful, nevertheless professional to the best. I certainly go there for my next service and such in the future too.

We have been using the Crownhill, Plymouth branch of Halfords Autocentre for years now for all our MOTs, servicing and repairs. Just had my wife's Fiesta MOT'd and yet again had amazing service from all involved. Dropped the car off in the morning, had a phone call few hours later to say it was all done. They even unblocked/fixed the wiper washers as part of the work required at no extra cost. I cannot comment on the quality of major jobs but I can definitely comment on their excellent, polite and friendly customer care. They always try to find an available slot even at short notice. Both managers are helpful, friendly and honest. My work colleagues who used this service also share this opinion. Sadly I didn't get the same impression using Halfords autocentre on Exeter street.

Went into halfords to get my lights done. The guys spotted a problem with my tyres and literally saved my life . They replaced a tyre that was worn on the inside where I couldn't see and a few miles away from blowing .They drove the car for a safety test and then did my lights.
