This is the 2nd time I've been to Kwik Fit in Mutley, Plymouth and they have been absolutely brilliant both times. Special mention this time for Adam who was really helpful and with great communication, and for Shane who was fantastic, working on my awkward exhaust and getting it sorted. I've nothing but praise for their knowledge, competence and kindness in sorting it. Absolutely amazing service! My VW UP started making a horrible sound so I brought it in to ask for some advice. Even though I didn’t have an appointment I was seen straight away. The guys were so helpful and actually listened to what I had to say. My car was straight up on the ramp and to my surprised Shane, Jack and Adam identified the problem immediately. My car was fixed by Shane there and then. I really want to make a point of how friendly and professional Shane, jack and Adam were. It’s not often you are listened to let alone spared the time for when you haven’t made an appointment and the problem isn’t obvious. I highly recommend this garage and will be using them from now on! I phoned this garage in the morning with a problem with my bonnet. I was unable to get it to stay closed. They fit me in the same day. I was helped by a gentleman who shamefully I cannot remember the name of but had very impressive facial hair. He managed to fix up my problem and get my back on the road. This was done in a polite, prompt and friendly manner to a person who knows next to nothing about cars. Fantastic Service from Kwik Fit Mutley. Came in for a pre booked Geo and my car was straight in and all adjusted up within half an hour. The guy that dealt with me was friendly, knowledgeable and personable. However I was disappointed that the free vending machine was not in the centre. I was told it was removed because of Covid. Come on, that is a poor excuse as a way to save money. Please put the vending machines back in centres. Secondly the outside of the centre is in need of a refresh. The corporate blue paint is both faded and peeling off of the wooden fasard. It just lets the centre down as it looks a bit tatty from the outside. None the less the service I received in relation to me and my car was first class. Thanks very much

Excellent service! My car managed to aquire a rather large screw in the center of the tread and leaking air fast. Took it around to Kwik-fit at Mutley and Jack's team managed to get this fixed with just a puncture repair. Saved loads of money, because it avoided having to replace the whole tire. Thank you!

Excellent service from the team here. Replaced a punctured tyre that unfortunately could not be repaired due to the length of the cut. They did the job immediately after we arrived, and showed us why the old tyre could not be repaired. An equivalent tyre that they had in stock was fitted at a competitive price. We were back on the road in under 30 minutes to enjoy the remainder of our day off!

2 weeks ago I had an issue with my car on holiday where it was making a very worrying noise and it was only days before driving back to Scotland. Despite being very close to closing time, the whole team checked it over and identified a poorly re-fitted wheel with loose wheel nuts being the cause. It was quickly sorted, other tyres checked, screen wash topped up and given a clean bill of health. Reassuringly professional approach from all involved. Many thanks - top job all round.

Had a puncture whilst on holiday, on a bank holiday Monday of all days. Even though they were incredibly busy they were still able to fit us in. Dropped the car off and walked into town and a couple of hours later they were on the phone to say the car was ready. Even better still they repaired the tyre rather than replacing it. I was very impressed with 'Gareth' at the Plymouth workshop. He tookk thd tome and trouble to explain that my issue was not just about my flatvtyre but ghe fact that my two rear tyres needed changing due to being thd same original tyres beloning to the car from ^09^. I watched as he meticulously got on with the job of changing the tyres and then after having a computer issue was patient enough to take payment and apologise for issues that weren't his fault . The Workshops female cleaner was extremely busy too and I was one impressed with her sorry I don't know her name but both your employees Kwik-Fit do deserve some sort of recognition and I will certainly be recommending your workshop to other people. Had to visit Kwik Fit tyre centre at Mutley again today, it was time for two new front tyres. I cannot praise the guys down there, in the workshop enough. At first it looks like organised chaos when you walk in... then each time they spent on each vehicle with that vehicle eventually leaving the workshop the lads were busy, busy, busy but they still had time to converse and guide each other, laugh and smile at each other and anyone else - customers or delivery people - who came into the workshop. What a lovely workplace ... and the manager down there Adam I think? ... apologies if I've got that wrong - seem to have everything in control he asked me numerous times if I was ok and explain some of the procedure especially when my vehicle was having the front wheels realigned. I'm super pleased with the effort ... And would thoroughly recommend Kwik-Fit Mutley to anyone who needs any tyres brakes or anything else that nature need doing.

Unfortunately had a rear tyre on my car give up on me last Sunday even though it was a run flat. Spoke with Jack who was extremely professional and informed that he had a tyre in stock to match my requirement. After arranging transport we arrived at the Mutley depot to be greated by Jack. My car was put into the workshop where Lewis took control of the replacement. Whilst the ture was difficult to remove Lewis did an exceptional job of replacing. During the whole process Jack continued dealing with other customers but kept abreast of my repair situation. Having worked for Stapletons as a delivery driver I have seen many Kwik Fit depots and can honestly say that this depot is head and shoulders above most and equal to the best. The professional service supplied by Jack and Lewis is commendable and I cannot thank them sufficiently. Thank you guy's

I'm not happy. I took my car for an MOT and was told it failed its emissions test and they didn't have the staff or the time to fix it. They suggested I go to BMW Ocean which I then did. BMW said there was nothing wrong with the emissions and Kwik Fit had probably not put the parameters into their test equipment properly. Kwik Fit claimed they had done this and the car had silll failed twice. I asked BMW to phone KF and tell them what to do which they did. I took my car back again to KF and after trying to blind me with science they ungracious agreed to retest it. It passed. This sorry experience has taken three days instead of one hour and cost me three cab fares. BMW were fantastic and didn't charge anything. Kwik Fit weren't. I won't be going there again.

Very impressed with the experience given, my suspension coil collapsed and I bought the car to Kwik fit on Saturday afternoon after being recovered. Been coming here for my MOT and tyres for a few years and never had any problem. Today was the most stressful of all the visits. My car battery had completely died and after multiple jump starts, finally managed to get it down to Kwik Fit. The lovely Dan did a battery health check and it was time for the old one to go. I was in and out with a new battery within an hour!!! Reasonably priced given it was so last minute!

My exhaust had come apart as apparently someone unbeknown to me had used the wrong type of sealant and the clamp came loose. Kwik Fit put the correct sealant on and tightened the clamp back up. The best part was the bill - £0.00. Many thanks for this act of generosity. 👍🙂

I’m a cabbie and I had a flat tyre a few days ago that occurred to be unrepairable. After visiting a few other garages in town and being told I had to wait for an hour/even a day to be served I decided to pop in to Kwik Fit and that was a very good decision of mine. Men named Gareth & Shane solved my problem in no time, literally by fitting a new tyre and putting a spare wheel back in the boot. I’m a disabled customer and I received outstanding service from Assistant Manager Jack at Kwik Fit, Mutley, Plymouth today. Someone had slashed one of my tyres (a nightmare as I rely heavily upon my car) and Jack informed me that I wouldn’t have to pay for a new tyre, as I had previously purchased Kwik Fit Tyre Insurance when I originally bought the tyre from the firm. All I needed to give Kwik Fit was my crime reference number and Kwik Fit Tyre Insurance details. Jack had someone fir the tyre on for me there and then and then I was away. Stef, Dan and the team give a great level of customer service and always go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. I regularly visit the Mutley garage, I am always happy with their care given. The MOT is huge value for money but I tend to book online for a reduced rate. Twice visiting the garage time management has been a little bit of an issue whereby I’ve had a long wait or delay to them completing the job, but this is always rectified with an authentic explanation which is justified and out of the teams hands, like tooling issues. Nonetheless 5 star review. I will be returning for future car maintenance jobs. Good Work!!

Very impressed with the customer service. Very knowledgeable staff, that let you know what is happening every step of the way. As a woman I felt very comfortable here and was treated very well. Clean facilities and free tea or coffee with comfortable seating. You can watch everything that is happening to your vehicle via cameras and a huge window to the service bay. The work I had done at kwik fit was great I took the car in for four new tyres and asked them to check my steering rack as I was advised by another garage that I would need a new one. The kwik mechanic told me that the steering rack was OK but would need new track rod ends saving me alot of money thanks to the team at kwik fit I would recommend this garage and go back there again.

Poor initial Service, cigarette behind the ear on reception, not a professional look or representation of a good company. However, once they understood we pre-booked the service we recieved was superb and cheaper than first quoted. Would go back. Hard to find good garages.

Having driven from Yorkshire to Plymouth for a meeting I had a significant problem with the exhaust on the car which rendered it undriveable...turning up unannounced the car was on the ramp with 5mins...problem diagnosed and options for repair discussed. Not only did they have to order and collect the part required they also arranged for a taxi to take me to my meeting. Retuning a few hours later the car was fully repaired and at a very good price. Quite unbelievable service. I found a large screw/ bolt in my campervan tyre. I wasn't happy as the tyre is pretty new with a load of tread left on it and they are about £250 each. Over 300 miles from home with wife and 2 dogs, i thought that i would try Kwikfit to change it for my spare and i would sort it as soon as i got home. So I popped in and asked them what they could do. Shane said that they could fix it, would cost about £25 and could be done in half an hour - and so it was. Just amazing. I was on holiday when my car wheel bearing failed on my Discovery (not an easy job). Hundreds of miles from home, I drove my crippled car in to these guys on a Saturday morning with no appointment. I went to this branch today, just after opening time, and I wasn't the first person there. I was seen very quickly and told that there would be a short wait before my car would be on the ramp. After about 15 minutes, the engineer came to tell me about the wear to the tyres which he showed me. As one had a nail in it and the other was one mil away from the minimum I said that if there were two budget tyres in stock then I would have them. The shelf was checked so I was in luck. Because the shop was so busy it took just over an hour to completion but I was happy with the price and service, especially without an appointment and on a Sunday. They didn't try to flog me anything I didn't want and even gave a money-off voucher for a future visit. Happy days.

I visited Kwik Fit Alexandra Road Plymouth on Wednesday 17 th April. I was welcomed by Steph the receptionist who immediately welcomed me with a cup of hot chocolate and soothed my nerves as I had a puncture in the front tyre of my car. Steph booked my car in for repair and in minutes an extremely efficient , polite member of staff took my car and did the repair to the tyre (as it was a new tyre.) Just a couple of months in use. He and Steph suggested to me that (as I am an elderly lady) if I felt I needed my tyres checked , pressure etc . oil checked , water or lights checked ,they would be delighted to help and suggested I should call in to Kwik Fit with any concerns about my car. They both were far to polite to mention that I was elderly!! I left Kwik Fit a very happy lady. The gentleman checked all my tyres, quality and pressure and assured me all was perfect with my car to continue on my way. The bill was only £25 . I will,without hesitation, recommend Kwit Fit to all my friends and neighbours . Thank you Steph and her colleague.
