I happened to be passing and the mechanic was good enough to take a quick look at the rumbling in my engine, he diagnosed right there and then. However they phoned me to say the fault lay elsewhere and the bill would increase. So I okayed the job and it was ready the next day. Fair enough! Smart reception area and a tidy workshop.

I am a member of Green Flag and broke down this week on the A30 on the hard shoulder. A recovery vehicle from Liftondown Garage came to my rescue within 30 minutes and assisted in getting my vehicle and me to a safe place in a near layby. Whilst the vehicle could not be repaired, I was efficiently towed to the garage and transferred to a Recovery Truck. My thanks to the Recovery Mechanic who came to my rescue and to the lady on the telephone at the garage who both made me feel safe and looked after.

I am a member of Green Flag and my vehicle broke down this morning in a busy carpark. Was given an estimated attend time of one hour, yet within a few minutes the gentleman arrived from Liftondown Garage. The EIM was dead and it was nigh-on impossible with all the traffic and the location the vehicle was parked to recover it during shopping hours. Left the key-fob with them and the vehicle was delivered to my home this evening and place exactly where I wanted it. Could not ask for better service. Grateful thanks.

After getting my car recovered it was taken to Mike’s garage who came across it on the Monday morning! This garage was recommended to me by a family friend. He let me know very quickly the outcome which is what i expected! And made the process of getting it scrapped very easy. Although i love in Norwich, i’ll be booking my car in for it to be serviced when i’m next down as you know you and the car will be well looked after.

Great service. Darren recovered my car off the driveway on a Sunday afternoon and took the car back to the garage before delivery to BMW the following day. Once Darren had explained the recovery process, I had complete faith that the car would be recovered and delivered with care and in a very professional manner. Would definitely recommend.

Broke down at work - rang my breakdown service who gave me Lifton garage. The man attended within set time that had been text to my mobile. He was able to find what was wrong but unable to mend. I'm with Britania Rescue and they use Liftondown Garage in the Devon area. I had cause to use them 3 times in the space of 10 days. 2 mechanics and a pick up. I can't speak for anyone else but you speak as you find and I found them to be charming, knowledgeable, efficient and I cannot recommend them enough. I was in very good hands.

Fantastic service from Lifton down garage today, after having a puncture on Dartmoor with 3 children they were out to us in less than an hour, and recovered to a tyre garage in no time at all, from phone call to driving away from the tyre garage in less than 2 hours great stuff, also friendly driver called James

After attending my breakdown at around 8pm on the Friday of a bank holiday weekend during our holiday they had the parts in and had me back on the road for Saturday lunchtime. Great service and only wish they were closer to home!

Did an emergency recovery, late Friday evening from Lifton to Yeovil. 180 mile journey there and back. Got me there quick and customer service was brilliant, highly recommended!
