I broke down on a Sunday, 250 miles from home, Drakes were the only garage (Citroen Specialist) able and willing to help get my car back on the road within 4 days.. Paul was extremely helpful and went the extra mile with advice and help to keep my stress levels down.. very good prices too.. highly recommend!!

I've used M Drake and Son several times now, for everything from 'my engine's making a funny noise ' to this week when my car boot got stuck shut. They're always great. Friendly, helpful, really fair prices and they always explain things clearly. Would definitely recommend them

Rang up last week to ask about getting a wheel bearing changed and they managed to fit me in to check it the following day (Thursday). All checked and booked me in for the following Tuesday. They replaced the wheel bearing really quickly and the service was excellent, they couldn’t have been friendlier! 100% would recommend and will be to friends! Excellent service all round 👏🏽

Absolutely awesome. Small independent garage that really gives a fantastic timely service for a great price, they have just replaced the clutch on our Peugeot 2008 for a very reasonable price. These guys offer and give a service that today it seems rare to find. I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Thrice I've used his firm with no complaints. If I've had any complaint IE an electrical switch job he was very straight and said it was beyond his remit it would cost £100s and get an electrical engineer. I asked him to just to try a cheap fix he did find a solution and as promised I saved money but LOL I got what I paid for and he was right I did need to let him sub-contact the job and buy the more expensive solution. Not his fault! :)

I took my car to Paul in August 2019. He was able to fit me in to do a big job on my car, at short notice. He had it finished in days & the price was amazing. My car sounds & feels normal again. Not usually the type to review but was so happy with the brilliant service I received at such a good price that I'm doing it for the first time. Solved all the longstanding problems with my Peugeot Van for a next to nothing at very short notice. The last they said to me: "we're not here to rip people off" amen to that.
