Absolutely amazing, emailed on the day my mot was due (it was the first one and thank goodness I checked) managed to get me in at 6am next day, all staff very friendly welcoming and helpful. Nice area to sit and wait with a drinks machine that is free. Toilets available for customers. The guys didn’t waste any time and got straight on with my car (it passed thank goodness) and I was in and out within an hour as promised. Would highly recommend, very happy customer

I needed an MOT quite urgently. I called several garages, but was turned down saying they were too busy to deal with my request on such short notice, which was understandable. Whites managed to fit me in and I only paid £33. They also mentioned that had I booked the MOT online, it would have been cheaper. I didn't mind at the time paying the £33 as they did me a huge favour. But next time I will book online. I would recommend Whites Autos to others based in the service I received in January 2022. Can’t recommend this place enough. Had an issue with my car when I came off the ferry and called on the off chance they could check it over before a 4hr drive home. Was told to bring it round and was promptly seen straight away and problem diagnosed immediately. Unfortunately parts could not be ordered before I left due to the short notice, but there was no charge and I was told I would be safe to drive home which thankfully I was. Everything was explained in a calm friendly manner. A top service all round. I just wish they were my local garage!

This garage was really helpful when our campervan broke down and two shock absorbers had to be replaced. Very clear about the work done and the price and they did it right away. I was able to go into town with my family and when we came back around 5.30 pm the work was done. Very friendly owner who is willing to help people further. It's so refreshing to find an honest, up front and friendly garage, John and the team are all of this and more. We have used the garage for years but recently had some work done to repair broken heating matrix on a new (to us) vehicle, they gave me a quote for a new part and the works, they kept me in the loop with the progress and told me that, in fact, when they came to fit the new part, they found they could actually repair the original and this literally saved us hundreds of pounds off the original quote. As always the work is guarenteed for a year and I know they wouldn't cut corners so I'm 100% certain we won't have problems. It's this kind of honesty and transparency, along with the quality of the work and the value for money that will keep us as loyal customers. I couldn't recommend them more.

We were coming back from Cornwall and the engine light suddenly turned on without any problem in running the car. We stopped by in Plymouth and showed the car to John at Whites Auto. Despite his other appointments of the day, he checked our car and found the gear oil problem. He asked us to bring the car next day as he had other cars to fix. After our request that we have to proceed to London, he managed to fix our car during the half day. He was very courteous, accommodating and proficient.

I had a panic call from my elderly father who due to the lockdown had not been out in his car and the battery had gone flat, he was unable to go and get some essential supplies. I called the garage and spoke to John who very kindly sent one of his mechanics out immediately and got dad's car going. and then gave me a follow up call to let me know dad was ok. It was only a quick little job, but takes "going the extra mile" to a new level really. the peace of mind is priceless. Thank you so much.

I'm a student and also a foreigner, so typically those two together make me an easy target for overpricing and swindling. White's auto centre did none of that, were very helpful, were very accommodating and beyond that friendly as though i'm a family friend. I had a catastrophic turbo failure and brought it into there for replacement. I wasn't able to afford the stock turbo and replacement so I asked if I could get a cheaper one online and have the fit it in, no hesitation, YES! Took them 2 days to change out an entire turbo! The mitsubishi dealer quoted me all in all for the service about 1900GBP... I got everything done by whites for about 650GBP, if that's not fair then I don't know what is. My car now runs with more power and a louder turbo as well (which I like), all in all, i'm happy. Weeks later I had smoke come out from underneath my hood near where the turbo was, I thought it must have been an installation defect so I brought it back. After an intense search of 2 days from them to figure out where the smoke came from they found out, it wasn't my turbo, but I had some branches stuck underneath my exhaust. Even though my car was on their lot being searched for 2 days I only got charged 30mins worth of work, 28GBP. Had a good laugh about it and I'm on my way. Couldn't recommend them any more! Fantastic team and fantastic service! Bravo.

Had an MOT cancelled at the last minute at a different garage due to the gas analysis machine packing in so I rang up and the guys here were extremely helpful and managed to squeeze me into the last slot. Even though I have had no cause for concern or worries over my car, MOTs are always a nervy occasion for anyone, but speaking to the gents at reception and watching how they interacted with a customer before me put me at ease and I could tell I was in safe hands. And hour later I was back underway with an MOT and even got a very good quote for a clutch replacement. Will definitely use again and it is ideally located for a quick walk into town whilst you wait. Brilliant service, we need a garage that wasn't lieing to our faces, so I looked around and found this place, witch comes with its very own 5stars. Best rated garage good service, only had an m.o.t, and only paid m.o.t not an extra 100 on top for stuff they haven't done, thanks again will definitely use again.

I cannot thank this garage enough. After my recently replaced turbo went after a 300 mile drive to go to France, waiting 6 hours to be towed to Plymouth arriving after midnight, it was such luck to find this garage the next morning. They went out of their way to reassure me, order express delivery of a turbo and fit it within 48 hours. Also let me have courtesy car. Thank you so much Whites Auto Centre. Off to catch the ferry now.

I found this garage through Google. I cannot fault the customer service and quality of work that I received. The garage opened up at 06.00 for me as I start work at 06.30 morning. They replaced my clutch and returned the vehicle to my place of work when finished. Great garage highly recommend them
