If you own a Volvo there is no other place to go for all your repairs, totally honest and up front, great value for money which is very reasonably priced. They do Saab as well, and really know there stuff. A full timing belt with water pump and all pulleys and tensioners and secondary belt £370 including VAT.....I rest my case 👍👍👍👍👍

brilliant garage..been using for 16 years plus. hard to find such an honest and trustworthy mechanic.prices are more than reasonable. he also took my firebird barn find project under his wing and restored it and put it back on the road..his passion for cars is second to none. highly recommended.

Bought a Saab 9-3 TTID last year (not from Alty's) and have had nothing but problems with it. Eventually, the engine broke and had to be replaced. Due to this not having been done correctly by another garage and causing a diesel runaway, I took it to Alty's, who advised me that unfortunately, I would need another engine... Less than a month after spending nearly 2k on the last one. Engine sourced and fitted for far less than I paid for the first one, making me wish I had just gone to Alty's in the first place. Very professional, will take their time to talk you through failures and fixes and have been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. What they don't know about Saabs - is not worth knowing. Overtly passionate about keeping these wonderful Swedish machines on the road and in service. I will be coming back here for any further work required on the car and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking experienced Saab technicians. If you've a poorly Saab (or Volvo!) , you'll be in great hands at Alty's. To Malcolm and Mini; Thank you! I really appreciate all the time you've taken on my car and your patience when dealing with me :)

this guy was given prices of 5 different sets of pads and disc but guess what, he went for the cheep ones, not what we would recommend.as for engine it was no good before we started and recommened new engine.
