J. L.On this occasion the communication was fantastic told me what needed fixing and delivered as promised. The quality of the finish is done to a high standard. I Had the bumper replaced the alloy refurbished with new tyre and all wheels tracked also the rear wing repaired. All the work is backed with a lifetime warranty so long as you own the vehicle.
S. G.5 stars is not enough for these guys, I cant praise them highly enough. Their service, communications, friendliness and professionalism have been second to none and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Thank you so much for getting my car back on the road!

N.Repairs to bodywork were excellent, back to looking brand new.
Car pickup and dropoff was on time and drivers called ahead to give me good notice.
Two new tyres were also fitted but afterwards there was significant vibrations in the car, turns out the wheels had not been balanced and weights were out significantly.
Also one door was replaced and the front and back doors no longer lined up correctly.
To be fair to the garage, I am in no doubt they would have helped to rectify these issues however due to my distance from the garage (as it was an approved insurance repairer) it wasn't feasible to return and leave the car.
I did go back at one point and the staff were helpful and courteous and wanted to keep the car in to adjust the doors, it was my choice to take it back at that point as I couldn't leave it.
Overall I would use them again for bodywork, if they were closer to me, as the quality of the work to fix the dents was great, but what let them down was the couple of small but easily avoidable issues.

j. g.I recently had cause to take my pride and joy to Karl Vella Auto Body Repairs in Preston, taking into account that the accident wasn't my fault and the guilty party left the scene of the accident without leaving their details and leaving me to pick up the tab!!!! Needless to say I wasn't very happy.
My first impressions of Karl Vella was a very nice reception area with two receptionists sat behind the desk, unfortunately the two Receptionist decided to ignore me (there were no other customers in at the time so they weren't overly busy) instead they thought better to continue looking down at whatever it was they were doing. It was only when I spoke to them that one of them decided to look up. She never said good morning can I help you she just looked and me, it was at that point that I thought "oh dear I don't feel confident leaving my pride and joy with you", eventually she took my details and got the paperwork out and called an assseror to look at my poor car, he to was rather 'emotionless' rather going through the motions rather than concentrating on customer service.
I did leave my car and collected the rather basic curtosy car.
A week later on collection of my newly repaired car, there was one receptionist on duty, she was again rather emotionless and lacked in the basic customer service skills that one would expect, no smile, no good morning can I help you, she to ignored me with her head down until I spoke to her and she eventually lifted her head up.
At one point another customer came in and she completely ignored him too rather than saying I will be with you in minute please take a seat he was left standing not knowing quite what to do.
On a brighter note, my car was reformed to it's former glory and I cannot fault the work that was carried out on it, I am to say the least very very please with the repait work, it came back to me looking like new with a factory showroom gleam, even the tyres can a coating of something!!!!!!!!
So would I recommend Karl Vella - YES if you want your car transformed to it's former glory but if you want a smile and good morning forget it!!!!!!
