The firm carried out a smart repaint on some scratches on my bumper. The work was done to a very good standard and accomplished within a day. The cost was very reasonable. In all an excellent experience throughout. Would use the firm again and recommend them.

My faith in humanity was restored by these kind people. I got up for a busy day and my battery was flat. It was too early for neighbours but thought I'd try a garage and hope I could pay them to drive over and get my car started again. Not only were they kind and friendly they happily offered jump start me for free. I offered to pay but they wouldn't have it. One of their friendly team walked with me, got the car started, offered advice on my battery and even then offered to wait with my car while I went back to the house to get my things. This would be over and above if I was paying let alone for free. This kind of indepependent business is what areas need. Motivated by doing the kind thing over profit. I honestly can't reccommend these guys enough I almost hope my car requires their services in the near future as I have no doubt they would approach all their other work witht he same kindess and care.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service from Caversham Coachworks when my van went in for repair recently, particularly as the work was being paid for by my insurance company and not directly by me. It was refreshing not to have the usual grunts and bad language from my regular garage. In fact every person I dealt with; the guy who picked the van up and exchanged it with a brand new Corsa to use while mine was in (without advertising all over it!), the guy who took charge of the repair work and kept me well informed and the lady who answered my phone calls were all very friendly, professional, courteous and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The work was completed very quickly and to a perfect finish. I am thrilled to have found them and I have already asked them to quote me for a respray on a Lexus I have just bought. Thanks guys, you are all brilliant!

Caversham Coachworks repaired my car after a bump which required an insurance claim. The car was actually with garage for around seven weeks as the damage was more complicated than originally thought. The level of communication and professionalism throughout was excellent and the aftercare service has been equally good. Would definitely recommend this garage for car repair work in the future.

We have just had our Audi A1 front bumper repaired by Caversham Coachworks after it got reversed into. I was aware of them already but our insurance company sent us. We generally dealt with Mike who was very friendly and helpful, especially given the current CV19 circumstances. Having bought and sold a few cars I often find it's quite easy to tell if a car has been painted as it's not quite up to the standard of the original paint. Whilst this job was only a front bumper, it is perfect, i genuinely can't tell. Top work. Once i've saved a bit of money i'm going to treat my beloved old Volvo to a bit of paintwork with them (which has had a very poor respray job somewhere else!!). Mike was even kind enough to take a quick look at it when he dropped the Audi back. Recommended.

Seems to be well run, staff are very helpful and my car was repaired quicker than I expected. The work was high standard and my car was returned cleaned inside and out. The only problem is finding a place to park when you get there but I think that's partly due to hired cars being dropped off. I made sure my insurance company were aware I needed an estate hire car as I have a large dog and it wasn't a problem.

I damaged my door of my Grandland X and needed this to be replaced. My insurance company recommended Caversham Coachworks so I took this to them. They carried out a thorough survey and also noted the door seal need to be repaired. They ordered a replacement door and I left the car with them for two weeks, I collected the car and noted a very professional job with a exact match of the paintwork, the guys are all very polite and get to deal with, I can’t recommend them enough, just be prepared to leave it with them for a professional job..

Just had my Audi repaired by these guys and the work completed has been 1st class. I was instructed to go here by my insurance company as they are Audi approved so I was expecting a good standard and I wasn't let down. Good communication, explained everything, completed when promised and it was collected and delivered. I was offered a replacement vehicle but I didn't need one. I have written to Audi and my insurers to advise them of this very positive experience and posting on here as I don't think good service gets recognised enough, people are quick to condemn these days. My bumper and rear grill were damaged in an accident and needed to be replaced; my insurance company (LV) arranged for the work to be carried out by Caversham Coachworks. They collected the car from my house and dropped it back to me 2 days later when the work was complete. They were extremely courteous, friendly, helpful and efficient. They even kindly polished out some other marks at the front of the car free of charge and valeted it. My car is literally as good as new. Very happy that LV arranged for the work to be done by CC and I wouldn't hesitate to return as a private customer.

Took my Zafira to these legends after a sunroof near-disaster on the M4. The car was fixed to the highest standard in no time at all and returned fully valeted as a bonus. Needed new light clusters on my car after a supermarket delivery van hit my car. The parts arrived and I went to have them fitted. . The lady on reception had no record of my booking, then one of the new parts was broken and when the job was finally done the brake light on the cluster that had been changed was not working despite being told it was all ok and checked. At least it was a free repair !

I'm a big believer in supporting local, independent, family-run businesses, but sometimes you know they can't really compete on price or maybe their facilities are a bit out-of-date. That's not the case with Caversham Coachworks. They are friendly, they give really good value for money and they've got a massive workshop in Gosbrook Road. They specialise in accident repairs but they can fix any make and model of car on the road.

BNI TESTIMONIAL FOR RUSS ADLEM OF CAVERSHAM COACHWORKS We are a specialist florist and we strive for perfection and look for suppliers with similar aims. The shop van is an important part of our marketing as it is always on show, out and about delivering flowers. It does get some knocks though. So I asked Russ to do a quick tidy up and get it back to looking good, with the right image. Caversham Coachworks did a great job and offered a courtesy car. The van came back almost as new and the work cost very little. Excellent value and service.
