Not sure why I haven't used Chesterman's before even thought they are just round the corner! Excellent customer service, nothing too much trouble. Gave them a call after getting towed home from the M40 a few months back - excellent price for the work completed (Aux belt replacement). I have since used for windscreen motor replacement, again - sorted quickly and very well priced. My new go-to.

I have gone to this garage for a recent scratch for my car. I was surprised by the professionalism and work ethic displayed by the owner. He was patient enough to give me a proper quote and explained what needs to be done to correct the issue. As promised he did a great job and restored the car back to its looks. 🙂 The bill looked very decent and was not overpriced. 😌 👍.

After damaging the bodywork on my car by hitting a cast iron garden gate post I took my car to Chestermans for repair. My whole experience from initial contact to collecting my car on completion was exceptional. Despite further work being required the initial quote for repair was honoured, communication was excellent, the car was ready on time and the quality of repair so good that you would never know there had been any damage.

As a young female it is always daunting going to a garage with an older a car dreading that I will be ripped off, however Chestermans has been the complete opposite, when I have had problems with my car they have be explained why it needed fixing and giving great advice. Brilliant work done on a rusty sill. Without this I would faid the MOT. Chesterman's really know what they are doing and saved the day. Very polite and quick service. Would certainly use again to keep the old car in good nick, and obviously recomment to others if they want good service.

had a big dent and scratch on one side of my car and a completely damaged front bumper. I was looking for a reasonable repair centre and I was recently recommended by my neighbour to visit Chesterman's Garage. It's a small garage not very far from the City Centre and the guys who work there are very professional and very nice. They looked at my car and quoted me an amount which I never expected to be so less. I liked the honesty of the guys from the very first conversation and decided to get the work done with them. I didn't even bother to get any other quote. The job was done so immaculately, one wouldn't believe that there were scratches or dent in the body of the car. More interestingly, the final price he quoted was even lesser than the estimates. I found the guys to be very genuine, very courteous and having great attention to detail for the work. Now I know where to go for body works and I would highly recommend them too.

I'd dropped my Fiesta off to have the right side of the front bumper fixed after someone had reversed into it. The car had a few different scratches and dings sustained during the incident but I was only concerened with the big scratch. I'd chosen Chestermans because they offered me a decent quote and the reviews were great. When I picked it up I was honestly so impressed with the quality of work done to my car. They definitely live up to the great reviews. Such a fantastic job! Not only did they repair the damage I'd asked to be fixed, they went the extra mile and fixed the other bits of damage. These guys are honestly great at what they do, very proffesional, efficient and they deliver this with excellent customer service. Look no further if you need work done.

Excellent service from the staff. Used them for over 20 years on all my cars.Ford, Vauxhall, Peugeot and SAAB. Used one main dealership in that time for a newer car which cost me twice as much. All great work carried out on time. No work carried out without prior notification and permission. No problem in recommending this very good local garage.

I have been using this garage for 18 years or so. They have done services, welding, MOTs, paint-jobs and all manner of the typical repairs that need doing. I have always found them to be professional, friendly and honest. I have been taking my car there for a long time so I am obviously happy with the service and work. Dont think you will find a cheaper deal with the same quality of service.

My car didn't start due to dead battery ... I went to the garage and the guys were really nice, they came with me to check the car, we moved the car to the garage and in a couple of hours they solved the problem (and it all happened over the weekend) ... really excellent service !!!

Amazing! An Aluminium bonnet, the dents rolled out and you wouldn't notice, and what's more a great outfit to do business with, friendly, helpful, and they do' what it says on the can'. Would recommend them to anyone. They are used by my usual garage who only fix Bentleys, Rollers, andf Jags. Great value for money.

Great and very friendly garage for almost all your motor repair needs. Unfortunately the parking is by permit on the street and although there’s facility for two hours free parking at a time in the street but it’s a nightmare to find a space!
