Oil and filter change for my Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce at Kwit Fit Richfield Avenue branch. All good, correct levels filled and good Mobil oil, very polite service as well as good discount price. Saved about £150 on main dealer.

I needed a tyre quickly and at the right price and these folks were able to deliver on both counts and very professionally The only negative was the sales pitch for a tracking correction. It was shown to me on a TV screen and the consequences of not having it done were explained clearly and succinctly. I was told that would cost £75 to have it realigned - I thought this was expensive and I declined . The price was then immediately reduced to £50, a 30% discount in the space of a few seconds. This was, in my opinion, indicative of some one trying it on and I was very unimpressed and again declined My advice is to use these folks BUT watch the prices

I called Kwikfit soon after my tyre popped and my husband and I managed to replace it, to get a new tyre. Richard assured me that he would do his best to fix us a new tyre despite being fully booked out. After arriving there, the receptionists were very welcoming and gave a good deal on getting 2 tyres replaced. They sorted both out within the hour, and were courteous. I would definitely recommend!

Today I will tell about my experience in this branch. I took an appointment for vehicle air conditioning maintenance and came, my vehicle was taken to the garage about half an hour later than the appointment time, They were told that the process would take half an hour, but it took about 2.5 hours. I almost exploded as an impatient person, but eventually the transaction was completed and they apologized for the wait and did not charge. Of course, money is not the first priority, kindness is more valuable than money.

I contacted Quickfit at Richfield Avenue Reading today, to see if they could help clear some plastic debris trapped on my car exhaust that I could not reach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were able to get my issue sorted out immediately after my arrival, even though they clearly had many other vehilcles to work on. I cannot praise the staff of Quickfit highly enough, and after I watched them deal with the issue, I would happily recommend this branch for future car maintenance tasks. Got a flat tyre when passing nearby - the tyre was new and fitted by my local mechanic only a few days earlier. Swapped it out for the temporary spare and saw Kwik Fit Reading was open on a Sunday, took the tyre round and asked if they could take a look at it for me. The lads took a look right away, tested it and found the valve was leaking - they swapped it out for a new one on the spot and free of charge! Couldn't ask for friendlier service. Highly recommend.

I made my order online, and I have chosen some free checks for battery, wheel alignment, and breaks visual check. At the end come and tell me the car have some issues with one front wheel, and may need alignment because will use more the tire from inside, everything fine here. Now come the end of the end, they forgot to do my other check from my orders, battery check and at the point said my break pads are more than fine, but was looking unprofessional with the order paper on the front to skip customer order, and just pretend all is fine, maybe just to save some time. Next time I will avoid this point because they look are not really interested about customers. About my tyres change, everything was fine.

I dropped in with a slow puncture, I needed to make an appointment for later in the day but the guys made sure I could still go to my meeting by putting air in tyres. On return repair was reasonable time wise and what was even better is every single person coming and going was greeted with courtesy friendly nothing too much trouble. Today (21/10/21) at around 15:00, these Gentlemen really helped me out. I'd hit something in an absolute lake of water on one of our rubbish roads at 4 in the morning on the way to work and it had dislodged part of the car undertray which was consequently not protecting underside components and scraping against speed bumps. I was greeted with a big smile and they had my car on the ramp within minutes, minutes beyond that, all is put back together and the car is ready for me to drive away home. Beyond all of that, they did not even charge me as it was such a minor thing. I was so shocked at this I completely failed to consider asking for names to send a glowing compliment to the head office! I ask that you forgive me if you're reading this, chaps staffing this garage, you deserved more than my shocked thanks and I hope that this kindness pays forward to you all. Who says customer service no longer exists?

I had a nail stuck in my tyre. The guys then showed and informed me i actually had two nails in my tyre and that it should probably be changed due to some perishing as well. I visited saturday 29th 2021, around 13:00. I'd already been to Kwik-fit Early and they confirmed I needed my tyres replacing. They had none in stock, but checked for nearby garages that did, and suggested Richfield Avenue. It's worth noting that the staff at The Early branch were professional and friendly. I got to The Richfield Avenue branch, and the staff member, Tianna, was very helpful. She immediately came to reception when she saw a customer was there, and know exactly what needed doing. The work, plus tracking check, was carried out in an hour exactly as they said it would. The garage and reception area were well maintained, and everyone there just seemed very professional, knowledgeable and quick to help.

We were due to visit our family in Sussex having just returned from a 16 month lockdown situation in Spain, when I discovered that the power steering had stopped working, and my usual place that looked after my car in the UK did not open on a Saturday, but Kwikfix was. After explaining my problem, manger Richard he said they would look at it and they discover an empty reservoir and a small leek but did not stock hydraulic oil but fortunately I had some in the car. Between Richard and the mechanic they refilled the reservoir and got us on our way, making a pair of 90 year olds very happy.

I've visited this branch on several occasions and have been pleased with the work carried out however my latest visit will be my last. I noticed a few new, younger faces who seemed carefree about their own existence let alone my property. My first impression was proved right after my car was handed to me and I realised that the locking wheel nut was missing. I went back in to get the manager to retrieve it and low and behold, it was already thrown into a box with a few others, probably belonging to other unsuspecting customers. What really wound me up though, was upon leaving the premises and after a 120 mile trip, I noticed that my dashcam was not working. Those so and sos had disconnected my camera without reconnecting it and without notifying me. Tell me to switch it off; meddling with my car's electrics is not part of a tyre change I am not impressed, and this seems likely to be the new attitude so I will be going elsewhere.

This Kwik Fit is one of the good ones. They do the work you ask them to do & only the work you ask them to, no "extras" that you get charged an arm & a leg for. I had 4 new tyres fitted, 2 weeks later one of them was going flat. I took the car in for them to look at it, turns out it was due to some damage to the wheel. They sealed it up so the tyre stayed inflated & there was no charge - can't ask for more than that. My only criticism would be that they can be a bit slow, but that's a lot better than them rushing and making mistakes!

Really good, polite service from all who dealt with me. Tyres ordered and tracking booked online, as knew tracking was already out from wear on tyres. As expected, tyres in stock ready to fit, tracking checked and rectified with no delays beyond normal 1 hour appointment. Would advise people to ideally book ahead though, be it MoT, Tyres etc., as quite a few were trying to come in ad hoc. Although this was New Years Eve, so obviously not a 'normal' day for the Workshop.

I popped into Kwik fit last Saturday to check my tyre pressures as I was going to make a long journey, they looked very busy but still managed to fit me in, normally with garages I feel intimidated being a woman but the lads made me feel very comfortable offering me a tea or coffee.
