Mark was absolutely brilliant, I called at such short notice when my car air conditioning and heating stopped working. He kept me up to date with the whole process and was transparent about the cost of diagnostic, labour and fixing the actual issue. His communication and speed of fixing the issue was great. His quote for work was 50% cheaper than my usual garage, and did an excellent job, including fixing new subframe which had been delivered with some damaged nut brackets. This was the first time I've used this garage and was really impressed, I could not fault them. They were able to see my car the same day I called after my engine light came on and the car had a full service and diagnostics. The communication throughout was brilliant, he kept me updated including sending photos of faults, was honest and explained things well if I didn't understand. My engine was overheating, I took my car to Southampton street garage who were able to squeeze it in the same day, so I could pick it up at 7.30 am the next day to get to work. Good communication throughout the fix, sending pics of the broken parts. I used this garage for the first time. They gave me an appointment for the next day at 7:30 am and I was shocked. They fixed my car's exhaust pipe in a couple of hours. Asked about brake pads, but advised not to change just yet, which felt very honest. Really lovely and thoughtful mechanic. Always in touch and kept me in the loop about any decision on my car. Had a few worries about mileage and lifestyle wear on the car, which were expertly answered. Done within a few hours too. Definitely back for an MOT!

I used this garage for the first time recently after the Think Ford garage in Reading closed. I was a bit hesitant at first in using an independent as you never know what kind of work/service you'll get. However, after my experience with Mark, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending his garage - in fact I used him again this week for another repair. First time was for an MOT/Service and second time for a repair to an electric window (on which Ford would have charged me an absolute fortune). Highly recommended - good customer service and good prices. Had my car serviced recently (at another garage) and the place where it was serviced mentioned to me that there were some advisories. Took my car here for a second opinion and Mark identified which of these issues actually needed to be fixed and which didn't. I broke down on a Sunday and not knowing any local garages I just picked this off google maps. I phoned first thing on Monday and he was so helpful. He had the clutch fixed the same day and even drove back to Reading to return my keys that same evening so I could carry on home. Unfortunately paperwork seems a little wrong. These guys were great and hassle free I had a bit of trouble finding a garage to fix my Porsche Cayenne as I had a warranty and others either didn’t want to work with the warranty company, wanted me to do the claiming (I.e. pay them first then claim back myself and potentially need to fight with the warranty company) or some didn’t have a Porsche diagnostic system. But Mark had everything & took all this in his stride, dealt with the (I believe difficult) warranty company and focused on getting my car back on the road and running superbly with clear and honest advice and work done. I’ll be using them again and even the initial diagnostic was at a good price. Having recently moved to Reading & been through a few questionable local garages, I’m glad I’ve found one now that I can trust and rely on and will be visiting again (hopefully not too soon)

We user this local garage all the time for both of our cars. Convenient drop off and pick up times. They have even ran me home a few times in the morning after dropping of the car. They keep all the bits they take off to show you at the end of the day, pointing out the worn and broken bits. If you have not left clear instructions they will phone you up with different options and costs for repairs if applicable. i.e Genuine or OEM parts. Cost are reasonable for the location. Cheaper than main dealer and many other garages local I called,great location with easy access to Reading shopping centre. Would recommend

We user this local garage all the time for both of our cars. Convenient drop off and pick up times. They have even ran me home a few times in the morning after dropping of the car. They keep all the bits they take off to show you at the end of the day, pointing out the worn and broken bits. If you have not left clear instructions they will phone you up with different options and costs for repairs if applicable. i.e Genuine or OEM parts. Cost are reasonable for the location.
