Great garage for used car sales, repairs and standard MOTs, fair pricing. I bought my first car from them and have been with them ever since. They're brilliant at explaining what is wrong even when I don't speak car language! Kelvin especially is super helpful. Thanks guys.

The company I work for and myself personally have been using Calmore Service Station for anything car/van related for some time now and I have always been impressed with the service. Yesterday I bought a van from there which was great value and great quality. I know I can trust the guys at Calmore which is half the trouble when finding a good garage. The staff in there are always polite, very helpful and keep you well updated. Would recommend to anyone!

Calmore service station is a top quality car maintenance venue. They performed an MOT which the car unfortunately failed. They then quoted me a good price for the repairs required to pass but couldn’t fit me in for 5 days as they were so busy (as every GOOD garage should be). I elected to leave the car with them in case they could fit it in earlier. They actually managed to squeeze it in the next day and have the car back to me with a fresh MOT. I’m a very happy customer and will be returning if I need any more work done. Kelvin and the mechanic kept me up to date with what was happening and gave good advice on further work that will be needed in the future. TOP QUALITY.

Great local garage with excellent customer service and reasonably priced. I've been going here for nearly 15 years, and have built a strong trust in this company (as have many of my friends). The team go above and beyond to help diagnose any issues quickly, and complete repairs really promptly (the next day in my case). Also do excellent bodywork repairs too. Always my first port of call for any car issues.

Calmore Service Station first opened in 1968 by the Harrison family, it started out as a Petrol Filling Station and service centre for the local community. Later in the 70's and 80's saw the start of used car sales along with an MOT Testing Station. In 1999 with more supermarkets opening locally a decision was made to close the petrol station and extend the car sales activities further. Owned and run as a small independent dealer by Richard Dalton since 1991, Calmore Service Station continues to offer personal service and advice. Enduring and lasting relationships with our customers are based on 'TRUST'. Their customer service and satisfaction come first. Every visit I have made has been really fantastic. Offering a wide range of services including MOT's, servicing (all makes and models), brakes, exhaust, suspension, clutch, engine repairs, welding, air con service and minor body/paint work. They also have a large selection of used vehicles on site for sale. Their showroom staff are open to discuss your requirements, no pressure sell which was a change from the norm. When asked why they don't pressure sell, their reply was that they believe the cars sell themselves, believing that selling a car is the start of a long term relationship where they will look after us, year in year out and aim to assist with anything to do with our purchase with them. Investing in being honest and providing us with a future relationship, should we decide its time to buy another car. Alternatively continue to help us maintain our current car to keep us motoring safely at all times.

Bought a car from them on the day I was going on holiday. Car was prepared and checked straight away for me. Car has been perfect and from what I've seen they only sell decent honest cars. Have since used them for servicing and mot for which they gave a cracking service for a very reasonable price. Recently purchased a car privately that had a little service history but nothing current. Took it to Calmore Service Station to have a full service along with investigation of a wheel wobble at speed. Led to believe the wheel wobble was due to king pin bearings so asked for these to be replaced...had a phone call to say it wasn't the king pin bearings it was just a wheel balance issue which cured the problem for a fraction of what I thought it would cost. Service, diff oil and wheels balanced the car feels as good as new. Couldn't fault the work or price. Thanks.

Ricky is always willing to attempt to get the repairs done in quick time and to generally to suit your requirements. Having just read the review by Mr Simon Stephenson first of all I do not have any customers by that name and secondly I have never in my life welded a drive shaft of any description as I know what the consequences could be in terms of road safety, and for the record I have never threatened to send people round to do you in !! his words not mine. I pride myself on giving good old fashioned service at a fair price and if someone is not happy i would sooner give them back their money than have them as an unsatisfied customer. the defamatory statement of the above "welding" a drive shaft online review, as a long time customer of calmore service station i must counter this claim, i have never met or had the boys sent around after 20 years, so in defense it is either a mix up of the person adding a very unfair set of statements of work carried out?. simply not true to my experience and unfair, simon manning
