I've been using E&J Jarvis for my car servicing needs for a while and find them to be very professional and courteous. They recently replaced my diesel turbocharger, and the replacement unit itself proved to have a faulty sensor within days of using it. They promptly booked me in, ordered a further replacement unit free of charge and fitted it for me without costing me a penny. You might think this kind of service should come as standard as the part should be under warranty, but I just found them to be very co-operative and willing to put things right. Would recommend.

Such a friendly and professional company. The car went in for a small job, but they were communicative, clear with pricing and offered my several honest options (inc. do not have the work done and live with out air-con). We couldn't recommend this garage enough. We have been going for the last two years with both our cars. Not only for services and MOTs but we have also had bodywork done where it looked as good as new. Most recently we were going away and there was an issue with the car, turned up unexpected when they opened at 8am on the Saturday and they sorted it within an hour and a half. Nothing is too much trouble, they are so reasobable and you as a customer are so important. If you are thinking of using this garage then just do, you will not regret it.

Was recommended E&J Javis by a friend, and wow did they not disappoint. I was able to get the car looked at the following day after contacting them, they were able to let me know over the phone what the problem might be and how they approach fixing it. I was worried I'd need an entirely new clutch!! But they sorted it and it was the cheapest of the options. Plus the car was valeted!! Will definitely be using again.

Jarvis' have done every conceivable job on our cars over the years from changing a Mercedes engine, to every simple service, to getting the tow truck out for a rescue. Come to think of it I have also bought from them , a really nice used car that was top value and we kept for ages. They are always there help quickly, efficiently and economically too . I needed an MOT on my late father's car and had to have it taken to and from the garage as I don't drive. They came with a tow truck within an hour of my call to them, and did a thorough job of the work in question: in fact, the final cost was less than originally quoted. They also rang me to let me know when the car would be returned. Everyone I dealt with either by phone or in person was extremely helpful and friendly, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needs work carried out on their vehicle.

E&J Jarvis is an outstanding, professional and exceptionally competent business. They have been incredible in sorting my car out: I needed a fairly unusual replacement part, which a main dealer (who shall remain nameless) said they could not obtain for at least 3 months. Jarvis's pulled out all the stops and managed to obtain the part within 1 week, which was then promptly fitted by one of their very skilled mechanics. I was charged a fair and honest price for the work. I won't be using anyone else other than E&J Jarvis for my car from now on! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is the best garage in Southampton! If you want great value and honest and transparent advice then Jarvis' s is for you. The team go way above the normal call of duty and are well informed and knowledgeable about all aspects of car maintenance, repair and safety. The customer service is world class, and you'll never find a better father and son team like John and Ian. If this garage was a football team they would be the top of the premiership constantly!
