I cannot praise Kwik fit highly enough. We were not aware that we were driving an unsafe hire car. The hire company expected us to pay for new tyres. Kwik fit gave us brilliant customer service, they sorted everything out with speed and efficiency. They then billed the hire company as they were responsible. Fabulous. Would highly recommend.

My headlight bulb failed and I thought I could try and change it, but it was more fiddly than I expected. From the roadside I called the branch and they said to pop in and would take a look. I got there and Jim the manager said he would take a look, he fixed it in minutes! Absolutely top customer service, would thoroughly recommend these guys.

Went to this store a month ago without having an MOT for 6 months(not great of me). I had 4 new tyres fitted and the full works. Kevin told me they don’t have time to do an MOT as it was Sunday and they were low on staff. I got back and kevin went out his way to complete the MOT for me to make sure my car was road legal. Work carried out in a timely manner - good. However 1/ I requested specific PSI in the tyres - only 2 of the 4 were even close. 2/ Surprised old balance weights were left on the wheels instead of removal and balancing from scratch. 3/ Basic wheel alignment additional charge of £60 - ouch. I know it was my choice to have it done, but even so excessive imo.

I then got my wheel alignment checked and adjusted - very impressed with the professional explanation of the results and what had to be done to correct. Thankyou. Brilliant care today . I popped in hoping they could fix my suddenly rattly exhaust. They looked at it straight away and, even though they couldn't source the replacement bracket it needed, they made sure it was safe to drive and advised me to go to a BMW centre for the part. They didn't even charge. I will not hesitate to use this business and highly recommend them.

Top Notch. Took my Renault Kadjar down to these guys to replace the Tyre Pressure Sensors in each wheel, as I swapped out my 19" wheels with low profile tyres for Nissan Qashqai 17" wheels that gave a smoother ride. Kwik Fit did the sensor swap and re-coding. No fuss and good pricing. Very polite guys to work with.

Great experience. The place is very professional. The manager Kevin explained the process and delivered everything in time. Right in the middle of pandemic, the place is complying strictly with best practices. The seating area is well set out, clean and comfortable. I had an MoT booked at my usual garage in the afternoon but was aware I'd need a new tyre due to sidewall damage, so I phoned KwikFit in the morning to see if they had one, which they did. I arrived to be dealt with by a gentleman called Oli who also checked the other three tyres (which were all brand new) but he spotted a nail in my nearside rear. He repaired it for me and because of his attention to detail I managed to get to my MoT on time and straight through, which wouldn't have happened if he hadn't noticed the nail. Really appreciated and thoroughly recommend.

I got my car serviced and mot yesterday and the service I got was priceless I really feel and know that the team at 165 Bitterne road put time and effort into me as a customer and went the extra mile. They fixed my EML fault during the service as-well. as they found out that the throttle valve position sensor was faulty due to excessive carbon build up. instead of charging me for a new sensor they took the time to instead clean and refit the part. I am over the moon with the service I got and this is just one example of the many top services I received from kwik fit yesterday. I will be coming back to them for many years to come. Went to kwik Fit to sort out my exhaust as it was blowing like a Meaty P Grinder hook up. I couldn't tell where it was coming from as I have complete 20/20Wendy vision. The lads there hooked me up with a brand new shiny pipe looking like it had been cleaned by a Milky T porkchop. Couldn't of askedfor more as I couldn't do it, as I'm as useful as cluts magoo walking through asda on a bomo night out. Top service will be back like colon on a Big C Pt session.

I recently got three of my tires replaced. My drivers side external door handle was starting to come off when I visited. The mechanic accidentally took it off completely and the manager (i think he was) was very apologetic about it. They invited me back once I got a new handle and they promptly put the new one on with no charge. Which I wasn’t expecting! Both employees that I encountered where very polite and helpful, and being a new driver with no experience or knowledge of cars really eased my anxiousness of visiting a mechanic. Thank you!

Friendly staff and coffee machine while waiting. I went to change my tyres and I had also a tiny leak from one of the good tyre, they didn't hesitate to investigate and solve the problem. Tyres were changed in less than 1 hour. Seat is protected and the car was kept clean. Thank you.

Just had my MOT completed a week before it was due. Previous year the expiry date was the date the MOT was due. This was great as gave me time to get any work completed before due date. However this year although could of waited 6 months longer due to covid extension but thought it best to get my car checked just to be on the safe side. . Great as it passed, however the expiry date was the day before the MOT was completed. This has upset me to know I have lost a week on the expiry date which is wrong in my eyes. As all previous years it was always due end July.

They did a free check and no adjustments were necessary. No charge. Got a brand new pirelli tyre balanced fitted and the old tyre disposed of for under 100 pounds.
