Ian and his team have been so so brilliant whenever my car needs help, they're so helpful, knowledgeable and explain everything that needs to be done or has been done. They are very friendly and always ale to squeeze me in no problem. They are completely transparent with their work and run through the works and pricing which is always really reasonable rates. I would highly highly recommend them for your vehicle I trust them wholeheartedly with my wonderful car!

Came straight to M&I to purchase a new car as my partner got his here in Feb and they were great. Ian is extremely helpful and informative, I have no idea about cars but the guys here take the time to talk you through every detail. All their cars are really looked after and I felt like I was really getting the best car I could for my budget. I just wanted to recommend M&I Autos (Ian) in Ashurst. He has been very helpful to me with an old car i took into be serviced. He was very helpful, careful pointing out what needed doing and explaining the costing to me, without forcing me to have things done but explaining the safety problems clearly. After explaining the cost (which was larger than the value of the car) he told me he wanted me to have a think about it before proceeding in case we wanted to change the car instead- without charging me. I have not met such a nice helpful honest car mechanic- and will definitely trust him with cars in the future and recommend him to others. Thank you!

Great local family business. My sons have both used them for servicing and MOT and recommended them as they have always been very happy. As we were visiting to babysit for the day, I called in to see if they could help, as I needed two new tyres. Excellent service - they arranged for the new tyres, wheel alignment, checked wheel bearings and called me promptly when it was ready to collect. Highly recommended.

We was very please with the service we received, from being shown around the car to our test drive to the purchase and our after sales was all exemplary. There was no pressurised sales. We are very pleased with our Sukuki S-Cross, it's in mint condition throughout. Very low mileage feels like a brand new car.

We have been going to Ian and the team at M&I for years. We bought a car from them (which we never had a problem with) and they have been carrying out all of our maintenance. They are honest and always do their best for us. Just yesterday they quoted a worst case price to replace my cambelt and when I arrived to pick up the car, the bill was much less than I was expecting. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for maintenance and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another car from them.

I don't give 5 stars for much but I have no hesitation in this case. I have lost count of the number of cars I've purchased, it must be close to 10 over the years for myself, my wife and two boys. Any maintenance needed is also carried out by them. The service has always been excellent. Any MOT / maintenance costs are always fair & reasonable. My last car had a major issue with the engine (nothing that was the fault of M&I), I sure most garages would have said that's just bad luck, nothing to do with them but the guys at M&I could not have been more helpful in doing what they could to assist. I cannot understand the couple of bad reviews on here, I can only presume they have not discussed the issues with them and I'm sure they would have been addressed. I would not hesitate to buy another car from them.

Mike and Ian of M & I Autos are great guys who clearly take a lot of pride in their business. I went there in search of a low mileage car and found a gleaming Ford Fiesta with only 5,000 miles on the clock. They seemed to be very open about the car and where it had come from, and promised to help sort things out to everyones satisfaction if there were any issues going forward. True to their word, when the battery needed replacing a couple of months after purchase they were good enough to cover the costs.
