I broke down in the evening, trying to get a ferry to the isle of wight on business. Sirgit went above and beyond, came out at 9.30 to take my van and give me a courtesy vehicle to continue on to the island and do what I had to do. I was stuck and he completely sorted me out. By the time I came back to the mainland, the repair was done, he charged me a very competitive rate for the work even though I had zero choice under the circumstances, and I cannot thank or recommend him highly enough.

I’ve dealt with so many Garages before as i’ve got an old car but never seen a VIP quality unique service for a major job to be done by the help of Surjit & the team there! Took my car in for an MOT and was extremely impressed by the service received. Courteous and friendly staff, and even with a fail, I wasn't charged the earth for the repairs needed. All in all a wonderful little garage that will get repeat visits. Highly recommend

Could not recommend more! Called in the evening, gave them my car with misfiring cylinder the next morning and they got to the bottom of it in no time and delivered it back to me that afternoon. So helpful, offered to give me a lift the rest of my journey and as mentioned as I wouldn't be able to pick it up in their open hours they delivered my car back to me. Made me feel at ease and in good hands, I was so stressed with this unexpected malfunction in my car and am so grateful they worked hard to fix it the same day. Weight off the shoulders! Put my car in with problems main dealer quoted silly money for. Took it to Surjit & his team, resolved the problem, full service & provided a courtesy car for half the price and the car is running better than it ever has. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Had an issue that came up with my Car and as a new University student i didnt know any good local Garages. I read various reviews and selected Pitt Stop Garages where they took my Car in straight away even though they were fully booked. They diagnosed my fault by the end of day and recommended some options. As a poor University Student they agreed to not charge me for the diagnostic check but just the 1 hour labour of $50 + vat. Surjit (owner) explained all the options and gave us a copy of the diagnostic print out to confirm the issue. I will be using them again.

Brilliant experience! Exhaust detached and was stuck 130 miles from destination, popped in to see if they could help. New exhaust replaced in a jiffy and even gave us a lift into town to get lunch whilst the work was done. Good value and nice people. Couldn't recommend enough. Thanks Pitt-Stop. Adam.

Great family run business / garage. All very friendly, they seem to actually care. Not like a dealer or mainstream garage. Surjit is a top man, really does everything he can to help you, look after you and give you good service. Had lots of work done on my Audi A3 3.2 Quattro that I only bought a few months ago, full service, Haldex service, MOT & Remap. Was expecting a large bill, which it was... But if was Audi or others would have been even larger, much larger. Reasonable no doubt and work carried out to good quality. Was given a courtesy car also, phone call updates and advice etc. I don't think I will go anywhere else from now on, Surjit also knows his cars, knows what hes doing. Good after service also, told me to call or come straight back if not happy with anything, don't hesitate etc. All their service records / sheets & invoicing was top notch too. Great all round service, thanks Surjit and the team.

This garage is the BEST garage anywhere. The owner - Surjit is SO helpful he honestly cannot do enough for you. I was given his name by a friend & went straight round, he took my car for a quick test & agreed it was the gear box. He called his suppliers there & then but as my car is an old beast Surjit did say in a nice way that my car wasn't worth putting in a brand new box. He suggested I leave it there & he would see me right with a courtesy car - all he asked was that I returned it in clean condition with same amount of petrol in it. He even called me a week later after he had seen me with loads of shopping in Asda offering me a larger courtesy car in case I needed more space as I had 2 kids as well - you can't get better service than that. Box done & car is fab. Lady drivers go to Surjit with complete confidence. I would most definitely recommend him & have done to so many of my friends. Few months later I had reason to visit again as my brake lights switch under the pedal had blown & I had no brake lights at all - someone let me know as they pulled alongside me. Surjit had car for about 3 hours (without an appointment) and the job was done. Even then I was given the same courtesy car as before. Back part of the exhaust fell off as I was out & I called just as they were closing - it was raining heavily but Surjit was there in just 20 mins & got under the car removed the back box completely & told me to bring car down first thing in morning - he had ordered the part ready & I had car back later that day - again after using his courtesy car. No other mechanic would go out of their way on their way home for supper to lay on a drenched floor & help - he is just an ANGEL. ALL work has been carried out to a high standard & VERY good price. I took in a large box of biscuits for their efforts so they could have with their tea break. THANK YOU PITT STOP for everything you do with a smile & a very reasonable price. :-D

After another big name garage failed to fix my air-con after having my car for 2 days Pitt-stop garage saved my life. After getting my car back from the first garage my car's brake lights broke down so I couldn't go to work the next day. The owner came out of his way and met me at Pitt-stop garage around 20.00 when no other garage would be open. He also gave me a courtesy car. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, fixed my car (the air-con and the brake lights) and all this for a very competitive price. The guy simply really knows what he is doing. I am a recovery driver and I have NEVER EVER had at any time been turned away with anyone's car that has broken down. Even when they are flat out and inundated with work they ALWAYS accept customers vehicles in and give a loan car even when he has no more loan cars left he gives customers a lift home in his own car. This garage owner has even come out after he has closed to help out ,even opening up after hrs to put tyres on,give out loan cars. I don't and probably won't find any garage that does this kind of service I have even rung him at 3am in the morning and he still got out of bed to give a loan car and fix the car the next day. I recently heard of a customer who had his clutch done here and saved a fortune on it and his lower pulley wheel came off some time later and blamed the owner of the garage for this,hmm funny they never touched the pulley wheel that was on the other side of the engine ? and still he said get it to me and I will sort it out. All garages make mistakes believe me I should no but if you know this garage as I do he's the first one to put up his hands if something is wrong and put it right not many out there do that. You only see a few customers on here but I know hundreds who he and his team have sorted out quickly and efficiently and they have been able to carry on with there holidays or just there journeys. Oh and if you think I'm being paid for this or for taking people there trust me I don't I'm just glad he's there to help out customers out when no one else will. Before you try someone else ask him after you get a quote from your garage you may be pleasantly surprised.

My car was towed here and after reading the other review I panicked and thought about getting my car moved to my normal garage. On call my garage I told what had happened and they said the Surjit (Pitt-Stop's owner) was a good guy and that if he couldn't fix the car then neither could they. Effectively they did themselves out of business. Surjit had to sub-contract the work out to M&B in Eastleigh as the fuel injectors needed replacing so our car wasn't exactly fixed by Pitt-stop, however I feel that they handled us and our car very well. Our car had to be returned to M&B due to a slight fault and Surjit went out of his way to make sure it was fixed.
