I took my car here after being recommended. I have never been to such a clean, tidy and professional garage. I was booked in by phone and then on arrival was made to feel welcome. The waiting area and reception is just as clean and welcoming. The repairs were carried out very efficiently and I was regularly updated and asked permission before any repairs were done and also given an idea of costs. The car was received back with all faults repaired and at a very competitive price. I have finally found a garage I can be confident in and will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

This is a really good garage. They managed to fit me in for an MOT at short notice and although my car failed on a fair few levels, they had all the solutions and managed to complete all the work super fast so that I am able to continue on my wales trip tomorrow! Outstanding service and unbelievable work. I was recommended to use AutoMechanix by a good friend of ours who sends his fleet of vans here for bodywork. I was unsure at first as it isn’t the easiest place to get to from the small town in live in without the car but it has been so worth it. I had struggled to get the work done locally after being told it was unsalvageable and I would have to pay for a brand new door so I thought it was worth a visit. I dealt with Pete the whole way through who was brilliantly professional, helpful and informative. I was quoted a great price and I left the car to be worked on. I got a call a day earlier than expected to say the work had been completed and I could collect. I’m amazed at the magic Pete and the team have worked. To be honest I expected to see blemishes or tiny rippling but it is incredible what they have managed to do. It looks brand new and I couldn’t be happier with it. I have already recommended them to three people. I wish I had ‘before’ photos to show how big of a difference they have made but I couldn’t bring myself to look at the damage because it made me feel ill! Now I can’t stop staring at it and admiring my car which is beautiful once more! Thank you all so much

Last Saturday 12/02 my car failed its MOT at a local test centre due to the exhaust lambda reading on 2nd fast idle test being out of specified limits. The MOT centre advised that it could be exhaust sensors that were causing the issue. I got on my phone and rung around local garages to no avail until I came across Auto Mechanix. I spoke to Asif the owner who said to pop down and he would diagnose the car there and then. When I arrived I was greeted by Asif who was very helpful and gave me the cost of a diagnostic test which I agreed to (considerably cheaper than other local garages). I will note at this point that the car is a BMW in the past and I have taken it to local ‘BMW specialists’ who charge extortionate rates. Asif took me through to the waiting room which took me back at how comfortable and professional it was (comfy sofas, tv, hot drinks machine, cold drinks fridge and even an Xbox console). Pete, the service manager was very welcoming and made sure I was well catered for. The car had the diagnostics and the sensors were showing up as fault codes. I spoke to Pete and he said he would be in touch on Monday to arrange a convenient day/time to get the work carried out. Pete really is an asset to the company. His professional manner assured me that I was in the right hands. When leaving Asif even came out to thank me for my business. On Monday Pete got in contact and gave me a quote for parts and labour which was at a very competitive price. The car was booked in for 16/02 at 8:30am. I dropped the car off and stated it would be collected before the garage closed. Mid afternoon Pete advised me that the work had been carried out and the fault codes had cleared and it was passing an emissions test. I then asked at short notice can you do the MOT for me (also a competitive price) which was not a problem at all. I was updated when the MOT was done (all ok) and went to collect my car. When I arrived the invoice, MOT certificate and emissions test paperwork were all ready with a friendly Pete welcoming me to finalise the bill. He asked how my day was and showed real interest in myself as a person. Never did I feel rushed at all and we were chatting for a few minutes even after half 5 when the garage closed. From myself I want to thank the garage greatly. Never have I been to such a professionally run, well established, friendly and genuine garage. Any further mechanical work will defiantly be taken to this brilliant business. Cheers guys, George

Having travelled on to Leicestershire for half-term break, our Honda Civic's battery warning light came on on our way back home. 'We can make it back ok', I thought.... by the time I reached Stoke, all but the engine light was on. The car was in shutdown as the alternator had given up the ghost! I had a suspicion when I first saw the warning light that morning but thought there'd be enough time to look into it later in the week when we're back home...How wrong I was! The car LITERALLY crawled to the Auto Mechanix!! It was divine providence that meant we stumbled on this car repair business when we needed it most! What a blessing to find that I was on the road again with a new alternator, diagnosed, sourced and fitted in less than 2 hours!! Top notch service. No BS. Friendly atmosphere. And even a hello and welcome from the man in charge of the place. A waiting lounge and facilities that will leave you suitably impressed. I wish I lived in Stoke!!! :-D Don't bother shopping around - use Auto Mechanix for any vehicle repair, servicing and detailing needs!

In my personal experience I can only say as I found it and that I was impressed. The level of professional service, cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness here, (especially on a Sunday and amid all this pandemic) was all a pleasure to witness. I took the girlfriends car in for an MOT, which Auto Mechanix managed to squeeze me in at very short notice, not to mention welcomed with coffee and biscuits in the reception. For £45 with free retest up to 10 days, I should say spot on. The car didn't pass, but you can't have everything lol. Thankyou 👍

I had accidentally bumped the back of my car creating a pretty bad dent and was told by another body repair shop/ garage that I needed a brand new tailgate. I called auto mechanix and they told me to pop by for a quote. They said they could get it back looking as good as new for less than half the price! After only a day in the workshop I can safely say that the tailgate looks brand new, I am absolutely over the moon with the works they have done. I'll be recommending yourselves to all friends and family!! Thanks again!!

I have used Auto Mechanix for both of my cars MOT They carried out the repairs at a great price and waiting time for the repair was excellent. They also did a first class body repair on my wife's car. Everything is under one roof MOT, Garage, Body shop, which are immaculately clean. Their prices are good with friendly service from management to the mechanics. I cannot fault them in any way they go the extra mile to help you.

Pete and the team fixed my Ford Focus coolant leak in the Footwell, the heater core matrix pipe o-rings were perished. A well known problem on this car. They fixed it no problems when no one else in Stoke on Trent wanted to know. If you have this problem take it to them, they will sort it.

Had my car repaired here, new quarter panel and repainted, the job is out of this world! We called Auto Mechanix after having issues with our car's acceleration and a service engine light turned on. We were really pleased that they were able to see the vehicle within 10 mins of us making the phone call and had the fault repaired within an hour. All staff we dealt with were really keen to resolve the problem, informative about the repair they were due to make, helping us understand the reason why the fault occured and they carried out the repair really fast. Excellent service! I took my Vauxhall Meriva in after experiencing trouble with the air conditioning. The problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed in good time at a good price. I cannot recommend this garage to enough people. The best service I have had anywhere! My car had a engine warning light pop up on a Sunday morning, so whilst searching for garages open on a Sunday I found this gem. I was kept up to date throughout, clear pricing over the phone, I was quoted £260 for the job with the potential of another £150 if the filter needed sorting as well. Came back to pick it up and was told it would only cost me £180! Couldn't believe it, I had agreed to the £260 so would have paid it but he was such an honest guy and only charged me for what I actually needed and only for what he had had to do. So impressed already recommended the garage to everyone I have spoken to since. Will definitely be returning! 5 stars 10 out of 10 super professional, reasonable, honest and truthful what more can you ask for?! Thank you auto mechanix!!

Booked in for a full service on my Volvo V90 Cross Country having already taken my daughters car here for a full service, very friendly, good value for money and more than helpful. Would recommend ever asked for a price to fit my new mud flaps front and rear on the Volvo, fitted them free of charge, Volvo wouldn't of done that. Main dealer parts used as still under warranty and still manged to save £90.00 give them a try I'll be taking all cars there in the future thank you.

Had a mot there. The guys were super helpful making sure it was done quickly as I struggled to get a taxi home in the snow so had to wait around. Got a lovely cup of hot chocolate off them whilst waiting too! Would definitely recommend the garage and will be going back there myself next time.

Was having engine light problems, i brought my car to auto mechanix, and they were very professional, left my car there to check a potential head gasket issue. We only moved into our new house a week ago and realised my cars MOT was about to run out, so frantically began the Google search for a garage. I found this one Saturday afternoon and they were open on Sundays too, which was perfect for me as I work shifts. I booked it online for 11.30 sunday morning and within 40 mins he rang to say my car had failed and gave me my options to get it repaired. Everything was explained to me, he gave me a complete breakdown of the cost and by 3.15 sunday afternoon he rang me to say it was all done and ready to be collected!!!!! ABSOLUTE OUTSTANDING SERVICE !!!!! You dont get service like this anymore so I am more than happy with the outcome. I will definitely be using him again and recommending him.

Just returned from having my Jaguar MOT'ed at this garage. It was the first time i have used them and as I booked It on line (down to price and location) I really didn't know quite what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised, modern facilities that you would have expected from any main dealership, but with the extra benefit of great personal service with out the extortionate price tag of a main dealership. The staff were pleasant, courteous, professional and very efficient. The customer waiting area was extremely well appointed with complimentary drinks, TV, and even a games machine. The set up also provides Servicing Bodywork and even an accident claims Office. I will certainly be using them again and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Thank You Mechanix
