I was recommended this place by a friend today. We called and even though they were busy, they managed to squeeze us inbetween other jobs to repair a couple of little things with the exhaust before we went on holiday on Monday. On of two best garages in Stoke. Guys are always happy to help and advise. Comparing to some other garages they don't try make money on you. Doesn't matter is it a big or small job, they will do it. Regular small discount always appears on the final bill which is much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Very helpful and knowledgeable, the prices are good and quick service, maybe need some indoor waiting space, but the outdoor, socially distanced seats are OK in the sun shine, or a brisk walk to KFC or Costa is an option.

Driving home last night (Sunday) the drive shaft on my car broke. I didn't know what to do. The AA towed my car up to First Choice and we left it there, fingers crossed that Mark and his team would be able to fit it in some time this week, and we contacted him first thing this morning to let him know what had happened. Mark and his team are brilliant. Saying it was an unscheduled repair, I was amazed that they ordered the new drive shaft this morning and by 4 pm I had a call to say it was all fixed and ready to be collected. Excellent service. Thanks guys. Can't praise you high enough.

Used First Choice for around 7 years i think (about time i left a review), so does the Mrs and everyone who drives in our family. Mark & the team are always polite and very helpful and honest - you can tell he has been in the business for a long time. Garage is always busy which says a lot about the quality of the work he does. He recommended some mid range Nexen tyres and i was a little bit apprehensive but 10,000 miles in i cant tell the difference between these and the Michelins they replaced. All round good guy and team :)

Five star because - I don't believe you can get a faster service for changing tires anywhere. Drive in at short notice and got my tire changed immediately. What tire service beats that? Ok update - took my car for MOT only to discover one bolt was missing - and this was the last place I changed my tire for that car. Considering the impact that could have had in other circumstances I must say that's disappointing for an otherwise good service.

Always excellent service from Mark and the team, they know there onions, and only do work which is required all at a reasonable rate too. Ive had problems with my engine, and they are doing a few inspections just to check its ok, which I thought was very good of them, thank you for all your help guys.

I have been a customer of Marks since he first opened the garage and I nipped in for a tyre 14 years or so ago. I soon learned that he and his team would do an excellent job of looking after me. I have had every service, MOT, tyre and other issue dealt with by them and wouldn't go anywhere else. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I personally could not have coped without their help . In fact now my wife drives he looks after her car as well . I would recommend Mark and his team to anyone who would like a courteous, good value and professional service for their motor. I used First Choice based on the positive, but brief recommendations i read here. For those of you who cant be bothered to read here's the short version. Customer Service very good, prices very reasonable, turnaround, very quick. You'd be a fool not to give Mark and his team a try For those of you like me and love detail, here's the long version of my first visit I called at 08:15 to book the replacement of my rear brake pads and was booked in for 14:00 I pulled in and was greeted, presumably by Mark the business owner, who recognised my number plate and knew why I was there. Despite being 20 mins early, Mark took my keys, explained my car would be ready in approx 40 mins and that I could wait in reception or there were a few places nearby he named where I could wander around while I wait. Mark immediately drove my car onto the ramps and I walked down the road. Upon my return, I was again greeted by Mark who explained that he wanted to see me before they continued work. ( this is where I expected the hard sell). Mark took me around my car and showed me the condition of the old pads, and the discs. Mark put a new pad against the old disc and explained the "correct advice is to change the discs" as the brakes would feel useless otherwise. (no hard sell) . I immediately saw the issue. Mark gave me the very reasonable price and explained it wouldn't take long. I immediately agreed. Mark noted that my front tyres were showing signs of wear on the inside and that this was probably due to wheel alignment but the tyres were still legal and had plenty of life left and "seeing as your bill is more than you expected, we can take care of them later" (no hard sell... again) The discs were ordered immediately and with all due credit to C.E.S. they arrived in well under 10 mins, and very shortly after, my car was coming off the ramps. Mark politely reminded me that the brakes will feel different now. Mark and I went into reception where he created the pro forma invoice, not just the usual scribbled note on a small piece of paper. At all times Mark addressed my as Sir, until I was in reception where he addressed me by name. I explained that this was my first time using them and congratulated him on a job well done, to which Mark thanked me and offered a free car wash. While speaking the team member in the car wash, which was hand washed, the gent again, was polite, courteous. I asked about the services offered in this part of the business, which the gent was very knowledgeable of services offered. Now, everyone who knows me, knows I nit pick, yeah I'm that miserable sod who finds fault with everything, so what can I nit pick about First Choice? Honestly.....Nothing, as stated in the short version, very good customer service, very reasonable prices, very quick turnaround. The only two things I can think of, and I've had to think about this for a couple of minutes..... 1) introduce themselves by name (Good afternoon, I'm Mark, you're here for your rear brakes pads, is that correct?.....) and maybe offer a complimentary tea / coffee, to REALLY set them apart EVEN FURTHER from other garages but these two things really are very trivial. So there it is, You, the reader, would be a fool not to give Mark and his team a try.

Today, I met one of lifes genuinely lovely people, a person who cares, cares enough and let me tell you they are few and far between! I turned up this morning,to see if my exhaust could be checked? Yes right now, it's cracked,we will take you home(not nearby,) order part and ring when it's done, they did just that, collected me from home(I'm 60 yr old female on a stick) would have got a taxi but he insisted! Car had been repaired and washed 😊 and tyre shine, always wanted that😊 Mark, you and your team are a credit and you should be very proud!! Had to call AA out to my car yesterday as I had a warning light come on when driving home my belt had snapped so car wasn't charging correctly got taken to this garage by the AA, let then know this morning what the issue was and they have just rang to say my car is now fixed even though they were busy today and were fully booked up amazing customer service would definitely recommend
