Went in for a brake check as I was having quite a lot of problems with my rear brakes and the staff were so helpful. Not being fully clued up about cars, Lee took the time to explain/show the problem to me so I could understand what was wrong - which was good! They had my car fixed for me on the same day as they were concerned by the safety of my rear brakes, everything was fixed within 2 hours! Can't thank them enough and highly recommend! - Caitlyn

My Scirocco had multiple problems I had noticed and was aware of before hand - (tyres, bearings, ball joint etc) the professionalism they showed was amazing! got all proplems sorted by 2 o'clock the same day at a reasonable price. Very trustworthy as given me evidence of work done and needed. Very direct. Would highly recommend! as a big company they have delivered huge! Car feels as new again. The reason for only three stars as there was no alternative provision made for customers to wait in this difficult time. There is no where to wait, or get a hot drink and hope that they have no elderly customers. It was very cold having to wait outside and I couldn’t get warm all day. As for working on my car, a good job was done and I would use them again.

Good service, very friendly. Only issue is booking time as booked in for tyres at 11.30am and wasn't ready until 3.30pm. Seems times are just for drop-off, not when work begins. Happy enough though.

I recently took my car in for it's MOT and was very impressed by the service I received. The staff were very polite and the MOT was carried out in approximately 45 minutes. There is the option to wait on-site whilst the MOT was being carried out however on this occasion I didn't need to do so. I have no hesitation in recommending this autocentre and will definitely be using them again in the future.

Had a new battery fitted. Unfortunately they didn’t replace the battery cover properly or the rubber strip that went across the top, so halfway home heard a flapping noise and the rubber strip was flapping around by the fan, in danger of going into the engine. Luckily got home ok, so we put all fittings back correctly ourselves.

Can't fault the Telford branch of Halfords Autocentre. They are completely professional and friendly and always work carried out on time with no issues and cost effective. It's a shame the big brand garages like BMW and Mercedes don't take a leaf out of there book.

From the point of speaking to halfords Thursday evening when the aa told me my car needed to be towed to a garage. I found halfords to be very professional. There was a slight delay from the aa side approving the work done in my car. But once this was sorted halfords sorted my fault very quickly. Will definitely recommend them and use them again.

Halfords were great, I went to have my two front tyres changed and book in a few days in advance, on the day my tyres were to be changed they had not been delivered to store, the store manager John then drove to Walsall to collect them for me and had them fitted that day, not only that but I was given better quality tyres too. Wonderful service from a helpful team.

I have used this Autocentre a number of times for tyre changes, car servicing and MOT's. With my Honda Civic now being 8 yrs old, even with very low mileage for its age, I see no justification in taking it to a Honda dealership who would charge me considerably more for the same work. I have always received nothing but courtesy, professionalism and value for money from this Autocentre. As a former UK CAA licenced aircraft maintenance engineer, I recommend them.

Great service when I had a flat tyre nearby at 5pm on Sunday, Dave who was clearing up garage lent me a compressor to inflate tyre to get me to the garage. Arranged and got two new tyres sorted quickly and picked up car Tuesday. Would have been the next day but I was unable to collect.

I found there staff to be friendly and professional, R.McPartland who MOTed my car explained why it had failed and when I asked what the cost would be to sort it he had the figures to hand and gave me a estimate of the time it would take, they did the job in less time which suited me, when I went to pick up the car he again explained the work done and also the three advisories and how soon they would need sorting, Overall a pleasant and professional experience.

the mot was completed on time but the sevice was not and the vehicle was not ready for collectioon as arranged between 14:30 and 15:00, this entailed anunnecessary extra journey to collect the car when it was ready. the staff i delt with were very polite and did appologise for the delay and did telephone when the v ehicle was ready. Not bad service, but no print of Mot readings such as tyres, brakes or emissions, also mechanic took vehicle on 2 drives, but not mentioned when collected vehicle, spoke to reception staff, looked shocked I knew, I have an AA. devise fitted, also, left vehicle with the radio turned off, when collected, radio on and on a different station, since when did a radio become part of the MOT or service?

I've used Halfords at Telford on various occasions for services, MOTs and battery fittings, most recently on 13th June for a battery fitting. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The service is excellent. Unlike other motor trade establishments they don't try and rip you off by selling you something you don't need. Thank you Halfords!

MOT fail certificate issued due to alleged engine management light which was actually the annual 'service required light' This was rescinded once I had argued the case and a pass issued but there seems some education lacking in what an engine management light looks like.......a worrying lack of attention to detail
