We were driving on holiday only to hear a strange noise. We had read Pryors garage’s great reviews but you never know if garages can fit you in or help when actually there as they are usually too busy. But these guys were SO helpful and kind and reassuring. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend them! Thank you guys

Pryors did an excellent job replacing my steering rack today in super-fast time, they also managed to fit in a windscreen wiper motor repair too, same day with zero notice! I rang Pryors because I had a coolant leak and my usual mechanic was on holiday and I’m due to travel myself later this week. They fitted me in that afternoon, confirmed my suspicions that the radiator was on the way out and replaced it the following day. Friendly service, reasonable prices and right in the centre of town. After hearing a hissing noise coming from the front end of my car which many other mechanics could not find the took of the problem took it to pryors and they found the problem within 10 minutes and gave me a quote which was cheaper than expected, and who can forget the staff absolutely amazing people who will break down the cause of the problem in simpler ways for people who are not car savvy, can't thank pryors garage enough and will be recommending to all my friends and family so if you need a job doing you will not regret it call them today most honest and trustworthy garage I have had the pleasure to deal with

Called for a jump start after trying a diy booster, arrived within ten minutes, rigged up an industrial type booster and got me going just like that. I think it was Cliff that came out, really friendly and helpful, gave me a tip to help get a couple of things done on the car too. Stan and the team really saved me when my car developed a fault whilst on holiday in Cornwall this week. Despite having no appointment and being completely jam packed with existing bookings, they were kind enough to plug the car into the diagnostics and identify the fault whilst I waited outside. Having identified the likely cause (coilpack) they agreed to keep the car and get it fixed that day once they'd completed all the pre-booked work. A few hours later I got the call to say they'd fixed the car and it was ready to collect - it then completed the 3+ hour drive home without incident. Thank you once again!

Pryors has always been very good to me and I now only return to them. They give a great service and are very knowledgeable. They go above and beyond for the customer and do everything they can to help. They are very well priced and always make sure you know how much it costs, so no nasty shock's. So; my 08 Aygo started blowing from the exhaust (plus had a few other little niggles needed looking at), and rather than go to the closest garage (Kw*kf*t) I decided to have a look at the local garage reviews. These guys came out top by miles so decided to give em a shot. Called, explained my problem, dropped the car off the next evening an hour before closing. Before I'd got home I had a call explaining the repair needed, they'd ordered the part and just wanted my go-ahead for the repair so I gave the OK. By 1030 my car was ready for collection, the other issues had been investigated (they couldn't find the fault, but didn't try to upsell or do non-needed work), and I had a great price for the replacement exhaust parts. Definitely happy, and 100% great vibes from the team there. I look forward to booking in my service and MOT, totally confident I won't get ripped off unlike other garages I could Kwikly name! ;) Top job guys, thank you!

Jeff Pryor was a pleasure to deal with. We phoned up in the morning, he slotted us in for 2pm to diagnose a fault and by 5pm had sourced a part, fitted it and had test driven for us to drive away. He never at all made us feel like we were any trouble at all even though we know he was busy and could barely fit us in. Thoroughly recommended.

Whilst on holiday in our VW T25 campervan the clutch slave cylinder gave up and needed replacing. Worried our holiday was over we visited Pryor’s garage who were very helpful and accommodating fitting us in at short notice. The part was obtained and fitted by 3pm the same day at a fair price. Can't recommend Pryor's Garage enough, I had an overtightened rounded off wheel bolt, I took the car in at lunchtime and the bolt was removed and replaced in a matter of minutes. Thanks guys.
