I love this garage. For years I struggled to find a garage that could balance my wheels properly. Then I came across John Oats. These guys are brilliant. Never had a vibrating steering wheel since I started having tyres fitted with them. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Saw about 5 different garages and they were the only ones to check my car exhaust give me a quote even though they couldn’t fit me in that day. The price was resenable and uncovered that I was in need of an extra part. They got the part the next day and on delivery of the car repaired it that day. Would recommend.

Really honest - the repair I needed was way less expensive than the one the RAC thought I would need, and it was ready for me collect a lot sooner than expected. They kept me updated on progress etc and were so helpful. I will be coming back for my next annual service and MOT.

I was recommended John Oates by my brother after I had taken my car to another garage for a new clutch and received the car back in an unfit state to drive. Mark at John Oates Garage checked it over and highlighted the most visible issues, took pictures and wrote me a detailed list of issues. I arranged to drop my car off a couple of days later for the work to be done to fix all the issues caused by the negligent mechanic at the other garage. John and Mark were nothing but helpful from start to finish. Calling me to update, highlighting further issues and going above and beyond to fix somebody else's mess, even staying late on Saturday so I had my car back in time for work on Monday!! Just fantastic!!!! I got Dorothy (my car) back and took her for a test drive with John and Mark and she drives like a dream! I am so happy and now so stress free! I honestly can't thank them enough and will definitely be going back for any other issues or services etc. in the future and I will be making sure to recommend them to everyone I know! Fantastic staff. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Had intermittent engine malfunction issues with my Ford Mondeo. Even Ford authorised dealer couldn't fix it, neither they could provide clear diagnostic. John Oates guys worked on it patiently. Rather than fixing something which ain't broken, JO technician advised me to monitor or repeat fault, and replaced the only fuel injector which was faulty. And yes, also no hassle service if you have AA parts cover !
