Booked in for a problem on my partners car as it was the nearest one that could solve the issue. When we arrived the staff were friendly and were expecting us. They took the car keys and we left the car there before going for a walk. We were told it would take a few hours to find the problem, the longer they can have the car the better. We had the day free so that was no problem at all. We dropped the car off at 9:30am and they had found the problem by 12:00pm. They then called us and explained the problem and what needed fixing along with the price. The the work was able to begin. It took them around another 2 hours to get the parts and fix everything and finally take the car out for a test drive. Once the car was fixed they rang us again and we made our way to the garage. The payment wasn't to bad for the services we received and everything seems to be working perfectly on the car so far.

I know the big chains get a bad rep but I honestly cannot fault the service of this Kwik Fit. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and great service. I would highly recommend, I thought my car was off to the scrap heap in the sky but she was rescued after some hard graft by the team. Thank you ☺️

Rang up Priestly St centre for a cost to replace the timing belt on my Passat, given a good competitive cost which included changing the water pump and VAT, booked the car in the following week on a date given by the centre and I asked could I drop the car off the previous later afternoon, was told no problem and was phoned up within 4/5 hours of the day the car was booked in for and was told the work was completed. All through the process the staff were excellent and professional and very friendly. Will definitely use the centre again. Thanks for all your help. Regards Mick

I don't really like Kwik Fit anymore. They can never fix my car these days on the day I call, even when it's emergency; way too expensive too comparing to other places. I've been a regular customer for years but I never feel valued for my loyalty. Thus I have started looking for car services somewhere else.

Limped in with no power starting. The guys kwik Fit quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered a new (genuine) part from the manufacturer and had the car back to me within 24 hours (they originally said it would be within 5 days due to special order). I cannot recommend this place enough. Always spot on, reasonable price and outstanding service. 5 stars***** So far used for MOTs, services, tire change, tire plugs and power steering (I have no luck).

Got my tyres done and inquired about doing the wheel tracking in the future, and they went above and beyond with managing to do the tracking on my Citroën BX. I called by advance and I specifically asked to be booked for Saturday and I have been told by member of the staff that the 18th of March 2020 is Saturday. I found out today that I they lied to me and that the 18th of March is not Saturday, which means that I am not available. I explained them the whole situation in detail, but they said, that they cannot book me in before my MOT is due. I cannot drive without MOT, so it caused me huge problem, because I will not be able to solve the problem in such a short time. The next not such a positive thing is that they are not picking up their land line quite often, whis does causing additional problems. I cannot recommend to use this servise. Update: I have received a call from the branch manager following this review and things seems to be going in the right direction. I see an understanding of the problem and I do not see any reason for negative review now. I would still appreciate if the branch employee would not have interupted me with words,,: ,"Listen!" on oneof the calls where I tried to so sort out the problem. There was a misunderstanding in the original phone call. If anything change, Iwill keep you updated.

What can I sayI have used quite a few places who have disappointed me. Until I came to Kwik Fit who have put my faith back in getting my car Mot and any repair that needed doing.Every staff member I have met there was so friendly ,polite and nothing was any trouble go out of there way to help you. Will certainly be using kwik fit as my place to take my car even if it is over 10.miles worth the journey knowing you can leave your car with them and knowing you are not going to be ripped off. All I can say Hats off to Everyone at Kwik fit.

Great guys re MoT. However, I needed to be away quickly and was advised to be as early as I could, I was there well before opening time for the MoT ie 08:00 and still couldn't collect the car till 13:00. I suppose if you suggest it could be done as a priority if you're early and ask nicely, then it should be honoured. I don't mind waiting under normal circumstances, but I had stressed some urgency once over the phone and then in person.

Had to call in on Easter Sunday after an unfortunate mishap with a pot hole!! The chaps who replaced my tyre were so helpful and accomodating and I am so thankful that they were open and able to sort us out as we had a 5+ hour drive home which would have been a lot slower on a space saver!! They even talked me through the different tyre options and found the closest like for like replacement for the best price. Would deft recommend!

Came here to get my brakes checked as I have been hearing a clicking noise coming from the front right brake. I had been to three different ford dealership garages and told them the problem. Two came back and said they'd couldn't find any problem, but just put a bit of copper grease on the back of the pads and the other didn't even bother checking the problem. So I came to Kwik Fit and booked a free brake check. I explained the problem and they checkef the brakes and found that the problem was the brake pad clips and that they hadn't had any grease on them which was causing the clicking sound. I was told by the mechanic that he could clean them up and re-grease them to see if that solved it or what he recommended was to have new pad clips, which I went with and it turn out to be the cheaper option, than have to pay for the labour to get them cleaned and grease. Finally now have a brake that doesn't click evertime I press the pedal. Great job Kwik Fit

Whilst staff were professional in store. When the car failed it’s MOT and I decided to get the repair done elsewhere (due to the cost being twice as much as the garage I had the work done at) it felt like the service was then delayed to the point where I was unable to get the car repaired the same day. This caused more inconvenience than was necessary as I then had to return the next day for it to be retested for free. This only happened as I rang at 4pm to get the space at the end of the day for this to happen, staff were pushing for the retest to be done later in the week meaning I would need to pay for the retest.
