My car had to go in for a recall. The service was seamless from booking the car in to collection. Email reminders with full expectations of the day were very helpful. Loved the key drop off service. The vehicle health check video was very helpful in explaining setting issues I was having. Tracey was great! The only thing I would say is that as it was a recall from BMW, they should have offered to reimburse my expenses for the day as this wasn’t my fault.

The staff were very courteous, efficient and professional, but most of all, they were very sympathetic. Our car had developed problems on our drive from Shropshire to Sussex. They took the car in on very short notice. Even though the repairs couldn’t be effected immediately, we were kept informed of the progress of the repairs whilst we were on holiday. A big thank you to Tracey who looked after us.

This was the car’s first service and was handled extremely professionally and expediently. The process and outcome explained thoroughly and clearly - as were the financial and practical ease benefits of taking out a service plan. All in all superb. However, these are a few areas I suggest could be improved upon; despite several members of staff being present at their desks when I arrived (but nobody on Reception) and although I carried out the automated check-in, I received no welcome or acknowledgment until I needed to ask what the WiFi code was b) the otherwise excellent chap who dealt with me later, forgot to provide a requested quote for an ‘extra’, which at the time I forgot about too c) because of practical restrictions it is apparently not possible to clean cars at this centre, so a card was given for a complementary car wash - great, except this was for the automatic brush variety, not hand, which would risk causing the paintwork to get scratches - no thanks. Other than for the relatively small aspects above, I would highly recommend using this centre.

Pros:
Service was good and was carried out within the two hours quoted.
Whilst I waited, I was able to work at a desk and accessed the free wifi very easily.
Cons:
I was not informed when I booked and paid for the service that an additional service needed to be carried out costing a further £60.00.
This should have been explained over the phone at the point of booking.
Apart from that:
Tracey was great and updated me on my service plan and further work to be carried out.
The lady on the reception desk was friendly and helpful upon check in.
The video I was sent with an explanation of recommended work was very helpful.

I visited BMW Barons Watford and was met by a lovely lady, Tracey.
Tracey is a most helpful person with lots of knowledge of BMWs. As my car was juddering and shaking while driving without any warning lights, Tracey suggested a vehicle inspection check to be carried on in order to find out the problem.
As soon as the issue was diagnosed, it was sorted out and throughout this process I was fully informed of the progress.
One of the Best Customer Service received by Tracey and her team at the BMW Barons Watford.

Lost a star as a little irritated by over communication with reminders via the app, text and phone, selected a spare lite of oil which was missed, temporary car clean at the car wash wasn’t good, location a little remote and is relatively expensive

Also your app is not compatible with Barclaycard payment which means I need to see an advisor anyway! You’ve overly complicated & reduced what has always been a pleasant customer experience . I had a BMW ACE2 camera installed in my 430i M Sport Coupé by a BMW dealership in the north of England. From day 1, I had nothing but problems with it.
After relocating to the south, I contacted Barons in Watford and their Service Advisor Tracey Yerrill-Asser who took on the problems I was experiencing. She was fantastic!! She listened to my problems with the system and arranged a same-day meeting with her and a technical guru. Long story short - problem solved!! I now have the security of a fully functioning dashcam system. Every BMW dealership should have a ‘Tracy’. Many thanks and well done.

A convenient place to get your BMW serviced.
If you wait inside, there is free customer Wi-Fi, sofas, coffee machine, and also has a couple of workspace cubicals if you need a space to put your laptop and catch up with work.
You now are pointed to 'check in' using one of the two kiosks - where you enter your details and pop your key into a little key locker. At the kiosk I was offered 10% off BMW accessories and also an offer on a front and back video recording device - which seemed to be a third-party one.

I arrived 30 minutes early for a while you wait first service for my mini. I had checked in on line the day before and effortlessly completed the check in at the kiosk in reception. Immediately after that I was called by the receptionist to say my car would be serviced immediately and I should return in 90 minutes.
I left the premises and did some shopping at the nearby hypermarket. On my return about 75 minutes later I was told that the car was ready and there were no problems.

Service was excellent, very friendly and efficient, my only issue was that my car being just over two years old needed new parts that had failed, I believe if work is carried out to your car through its warranty you should have a courtesy car for the trouble, unfortunately they only have 2 minis which were not available. Whether this is a BMW issue or a repair centre issue it should be assessed for the future.

Decent service. MOT Very over priced at ~£54, but what you'd expect from a company like bmw. Had an mot on friday which I was told my car needed a new rear tyre. Had it replaced and couldn't get back to them till Tuesday at the earliest due to work restraints, but was still charged an extra ~£27 as it was over the 24hours to get it back for them which I found to be ridiculous.

Derick the service manager really looked after me and went the extra mile or two to ensure that I was happy even when things didn't quite go to plan. My car was booked in for some work under warranty and the replacement part had some imperfections that Derick wasn't happy with. He informed me of the issue and explained that there would be some delay while they order a new part in order to ensure that the work was perfect. Derick arranged for me to have brand new 3 series loan car at very short notice so that I wouldn't be without a car over the weekend and could still get to work on Monday.

The experience was a good one however there was some confusion about what date and time I was booked in. I received conflicting mails and was called by the service centre as I had not arrived when they had expected me. I informed them and showed the mails I had received. They apologised.

they got our surname wrong and then wouldnt change it...somthing about only HQ can change it. other than that, service was ok on car, but seemed to stress them out that we wanted two items hecked as it may take 2 days and not one day, despite us phoning a couple of days before what we wanted. we just did the important issue, engine light was on, so they diagosed and replacerd camshaft sensor. their concern was the time it would take (not an issue for us) when asked if Air Con can be checked as not working right...so we left that out. we'll get that sorted out somewhere else.

This message hadnt been passed on to the team, and due to it being a contactless check in, it wasn’t till one of the team called an hour later that this unearthed. So I was asked to return an extra hour later. Not ideal, but all managed in a professional manner and a glitch in the system due to the check in being COVID safe.

It was a bit disappointing on the service front. My car had gone in for a recall update. The ‘check in’ service is minimal and Cars are no longer cleaned as part of the service.

I only collected the car yesterday from BMW and as I switched on a message is telling me to book my service again next month, this would the 5th time in 4 years I also need an MOT test done which I will ask BMW to do during the service next month. Took in to investigate engine malfunction light .Diagnosed as faulty exhaust camshaft sensor . Total cost £570 which I think is very expensive. Good customer service except I was travelling a long way on public transport to collect the car and waiting for confirmation that it was ready and all testing was ok. Got a voicemail to call them and I called continuosly for 30 mins and no-one answered the phone which really stressed me out and that and the cost spoilt the experience a bit. On plus side they said battery light was on and charged it overnight . BMW main dealers are so expensive for servicing and repairs. Normally go to the Ruislip branch but they were booked up for 2 weeks and it was urgent.

I had a query about the oil service that was showing as Amber on the info centre rather than Green.
After a quick chat with Tracey, it’s because the oil change was 5 months overdue but having only driven 2k miles since purchase, and lockdown due to covid and suffered from covid, it’s circumstances why it was late rather than any undue issues with car.

It's a BMW garage. They have seperate service and showroom areas, though advertise this poorly to customers. The service centre has nice staff for the most part, but information is communicated very badly. I twice had to decline their intent to service my car against my wishes. All in all, i just felt that they were trying to take money from me left right and centre. Wont be using again.

Finally took delivery several days ago of my new plug in MINI Countryman Hybrid. Must comment on the very friendly, professional and competent sales team. Quick and easy to deal with, dropping of keys etc through the digital boxes, have on occasions not completed all works and haven’t cleaned my car is my last 4 visits in comparison my wife’s Renault was serviced recently and actually cleaned to a higher standard than pre-covid but a premium brand like BMW won’t touch your car and you actually pick it up in a worst state than dropped off with dusty hand marks etc.

It's been a few months since I purchased my brand new BMW. I walked in with my husband on the whim and received nothing but outstanding service from the outset. I had the pleasure of dealing with Mark Price who has extensive experience, knowledge and a great personable domineer.
In the past I have found car dealerships exhausting, overwhelming and salesmen to be arrogant and pushy. However this was far from what we experienced and would highly recommend this dealership and Mark Price, for me he has gone above and beyond and drops me a line every couple of months just to check in.

Car needed MOT and service - MOT failed and needed 2 new tyres which was arranged on same day so all good however 2nd time that car wasn’t cleaned on pick up and more importantly lack of detail as they replaced 2 tyres but all tyres have different tyre pressure after reset which I think is lack of detail and not what I expect from this company..

This was for a BMW recall to fix two issues. Barons called me as promised when the parts were available and we agreed an appointment; they offered me a lift home if I took the car in. On arrival at reception I was asked to wait until Derek was available and sat for a while until someone else booked me in; I don't understand why the receptionist or the other chap couldn't book me in when I arrived. The lift home was very helpful, especially as I had my small daughter with me.
Barons phoned as promised when the job was done and I got a taxi back and was again asked to sit and "wait for Derek" for an incredibly simple handover. It was only a short wait; Derek kindly gave me a note for my file confirming that the recall jobs had been done, although it is of course on the BMW system. I asked for this as when I sell the car it will be well past 10 years old and paper is immediate evidence to a buyer.
Apart from the odd delays on arrival and collection while somebody has to be summoned from behind the scenes the experience was good, but I found that I could have asked for the car to be collected from and returned to my home, which I would ask for next time....

Online booking simple. Lifts and while-you-wait available. Usually a convenient slot. Car clean on return and never later than promised. Free coffee, clean toilets and a range of comfy, cafe or work cubicle seating while you wait with free wifi (a tad slow if you are downloading or uploading large files but it is a workshop after all, not a serviced office you pay for)

My vehicle required a full service and first MOT. Due to needing an automatic loan vehicle i was able to book about 6 weeks in advance.
Once at the service area i didn’t have to wait very long to be seen by Steve. The paperwork was sorted very quickly and Steve was extremely helpful in sorting out the relevant ref no’s to allow me to use a loan vehicle.
Steve arranged two days use of the loan car but still called that evening to provide an update. The following morning Steve called again to confim the completion of the work.

I recently bought a BMW X1 25d X line auto from here. Initially I was considering a Mercedes GLA but once I drove the BMW there was absolutely no doubt Id have to get the X1.
A few weeks ago I called to book a test drive and I spoke to a gentleman called Shumon. From the onset not only was he very nice and friendly but he also made me feel like family. He even sent me a link of a video he had made me to welcome me to BMW ahead of my test drive.
When I arrived he welcomed me like a friend Ive known for years. He offered me a drink and then we started talking about my options. He arranged for the correct car to be available for test drive and he also let me know of several options on the way..During the test drive he showed me what was standard and what was extra. You could tell he knew his BMWs inside out.
When it came to ordering, he went through the different trims colours etc even when I was unsure he gave me his valuable opinion and when i didnt agree he didnt make me feel I was wrong! Shumon was very professional throughout and he kept in touch with me during the order. He let me know where the car was and when. He even sent me a video of when it had arrived which was a very personal touch to the process. When we collected the car he ensured everything was as ordered and stayed with me till I was content everything was working perfectly.
A few days after I drove off with my new car he called me to ensure everything was fine and told me not to hesitate to come back to him if I had any concerns.
All in all I highly reccomend Shumon at BMW Watford for his knowledge, professionalism and character. Thank you!

Me and my brother bought our first cars and were both new to the process in which this purchase entails. We initially shopped around and actually visited a Berry BMW in West Drayton where we were shocked at how poorly we were treated as potential customers and on the receiving end of some childish profanity once we decided not to buy from them.
We actually called up Spire Watford earlier and were put through luckily to Riaz, who came across like someone who knew his stuff and someone who actually recommended we shop around before we saw him. Was confusing at first to find the entrance to go in but I managed to find it in the end, I was welcomed by the receptionist and I told her what I was there for (servicing) she asked me for my details and straight away I was dealt with, I was sent to a very polite and caring man, I didn’t have my debit card with me so I asked how I could pay, and the man managed to make me pay online via a link, he took the car keys, I left for an hour and a half and then came back to see the car has been finished and just needed washing, throughout the 15 minutes it took to clean the car the man went through my car and what needs to be done with it, the treadth was lower than the legal limit and he told me how dangerous it was to continue driving in that condition, I really did appreciate how caring he was about the situation and really did make me feel like I was getting good service, then we talked about my car and what happened to it, end of the day I had a really good experience, I definitely recommend to service your car here as I loved it!

My experience here wasn't great but also not terrible. I'm sure I was just unlucky. I booked in the car to be looked at under recall with a month wait.
When I arrived I was asked to sit and wait for a personal representative to come over. I waited for around 45 minutes before asking why it was taking so long to just drop off my keys. I needed to get back to work.
My paperwork was on the desk of someone who had gone to lunch. They apologised and took the keys. The car was looked at and ready with plenty of time to collect later. Again, apologies on collection from the person who was on lunch.
I was very impressed with the after visit message which included a web link with a video of the inspection and showed the checks being done on tires, brakes, suspension etc. Prices of repair works included.
You do get a premium service with BMW. Just a shame about the delay.

Sadly in 2021 I dealt with two other customer service agents and disappointed is an understatement. Cut off, interrupted and no genuine interest in issue or problem. Given incorrect information, not informed of changes, overall total contempt for customer.
The workshop/servicing mechanics work seems good though hence 3 stars, otherwise i'd rate 1.
