Tolpits motors is under new managment and the service I recieved recently is outstanding. I was quoted elsewhere a huge some of money for repairs on my car which would nearly have written it off. However I brang it to tolpits motors and they fixed everything for a fraction of the price. All jobs were completed efficiently and to a high standard. My car drives like a dream now and I could not be happier. If you are looking for an honest mechanic this is the place to go. Thanks tolpits!

Really good mechanics who charge fair prices. They used to be quite quiet on weekdays before the pandemic and I could usually just drop off my car in the morning and pick it up a few hours later. However with everyone working from home now they have become crazy busy everyday and if you call up usually you won't get an appointment until a couple of days later. The quality of the work is still excellent though and I am glad to see that they are getting the level of business that they deserve.

In November 2019, whilst driving on the M1 near Milton Keynes, my BMW suddenly slowed down, lost power so that I could only travel at a max of 50mph. I managed to take it straight to BMW Milton Keynes who took over an hour to assess the car and come to the conclusion that they didn’t know what the problem was and that they’d need to keep the car for further testing- whilst charging me for their initial assessment. Fast-forward to December, I decided to take my car into Chris and the team at Tolpits Motors. I live fairly close and had driven past many times but never used their services. I decided to try my luck seeing as the “experts” at BMW couldn’t seem to diagnose the issue without me paying them a fortune to do so. Within a minute of explaining the problem Chris had a good idea of the issue. He explained it clearly and told me it was common with a car of the age of mine (>10 years). I was booked in for an appointment within a few days during which the problem was confirmed and fixed completely. Throughout the process, Chris and the team were a pleasure to deal with. They are clearly experts in their field and, most importantly, have vast experience in resolving issues. Chris, in particular, explained things very clearly and sought my approval at each step of the process. I cannot recommend the team highly enough.

Took car in for service and MOT. All done no problems, until I got home and found oil leaking onto my drive. Took the car straight back and they had it straight up on a ramp. The problem was not major, the oil was leftover on a tray under the engine and was just spilling over. Tolpits cleaned it all up and no further problems. As usual an excellent service from this garage. Took the car to Halfords the previous year and what pain they were, never again, so Tolpits Motors it will be from now on.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Although I always use Tolpits Motors for servicing and MOTs, I telephoned yesterday with a problem with my brakes. Not only did they repair my car straight away, it was ready within a couple of hours and a very reasonable price. Very pleased. Really nice people to deal with too.

Excellent and I can't recommend them enough. Chris took my daughters car in from a breakdown recovery that said the power steering pump had gone. After quoting a very reasonable price for the repairs he then test drove the car two or three times and could find no fault due to the oil having been topped and now running through the system. Not only did they not charge for the diagnosis but when my daughter went to pick up the car they had run the engine and had the heaters on to warm it inside for her as it was such a cold December day. Cannot fault their knowledge, technical know how and definitely not their customer service. They deserve ten stars.

cant ask for anything more... never used garage before and looked at Reviews and took a 'punt ' the car stater motor had gone (E63 bi-turbo)... RAC recovered to Tolpits but was looking at Monday for repair due to influx of Work they had. I was given An estimate and left the Car. The very next day I was told car was ready!! i was initially informed by othes that The starter on this car was diificult/time consuming... very impressed by TOLPITS and will use in future for my other cars

Superb friendly MOT center. Was able to get a sameday appointment when everyone else was not able to accommodate. And if you're nervous about your car passing the MOT, they have a no pass no fee policy!

I had a funny noise in my car when I turned right and took it to a garage who said it was the CV joint and would be £170 to repair. As I was passing Tolpits Motors on my way home and saw a bay open, I pulled in. A really kind gentleman called Paul, went for a ride with me in the car to hear the noise. He then put it on his lift, took off the tire, made a quick adjustment of something that was rubbing against the break drum, took me for another drive and voila.....the noise was gone! To top it all off, he did not even charge me. Tolipits Motors has a customer for life. Thank you!
