Highly recommend this place. Took my MX5 in for sill welding, suspension refresh and paint work. Colin recommended not doing the paintwork and giving it a good polish. He was right and the car looks great - saving me a few £. I would definitely use them again.

After purchasing my first MX5 I was recommended to Colin @ C&C Sparkes. Best recommendation I've had for a long time, the problem I had with my car was sorted straight away with out any issues, along with a service and MOT. If you hate dealing with Main dealers, this is the place to go, We have three cars in our family, all of them will now be going to C&C 5 star service.

My MX-5 had a irritating squeal at low speeds - quite embarrassing in traffic! Others had looked at it but the best diagnosis I had was that it was 'nothing important'... I rang Colin after an online search for an MX-5 expert - he guessed what the problem was after a couple of minutes on the phone, and this turned out to be exactly right. A couple of days later after a service, MOT and new brake calipers, I could hold my head high in traffic again - thanks very much! 🙂

My MX5 NC had a gearbox issue that meant it was unable to go into gear. It was stranded at another garage who had been unable to diagnose the issue and as such had asked me to collect the unroadworthy car. Colin was incredibly quick, efficient and helpful, arranging transport from the other garage to prevent further damage. Colin had it fixed within the day. Exceptional service, wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thankyou!

My Mk1 MX5 Gleneagles was in need of some serious repair and maintenance - it had the usual rear sill and arch corrosion issues, and needed a general health check. Colin and the team at C&C Sparkes were fantastic throughout, from the initial contact, to advising me on the works required, to completing the job. The quality of the work was outstanding, but what took the service to the next level was Colin's clear, honest and expert advice on what to do and what not to do, to help balance the needs of the car with the cost of works and car value - I felt in really safe hands throughout, these guy know MX5s inside and out. This is the second anniversary of owning my MX5 and I had previously had it serviced at some significant cost by a main dealer as it was under warranty. Very pleased with the work carried out by Colin and his team. My Mk 1 MX5 went in for some long overdue attention and the result is, it looks and drives great, the paint repair work proved a problem, but this was professionally dealt with. C & C are well worth a visit.

Got an MX5? Colin is your man. Fantastic garage and specialist for my 130k mile Mk1 MX5. Colin invited me down just after I got it in October 2018, we raised it and he advised where to prioritise work, he knows these cars inside out, he then did the main work and advised when other things might need attention (importantly also advising what didn’t need doing so would be a waste of money). Great value and came in on quote. Going back for a new exhaust soon... Update May 2019 —- Colin let me have the exhaust and new headlamps from mx5parts delivered to his garage a few days before taking the car in, I took it in and he did his usual excellent job on the day and on quote and also changed the sparkplugs (one of the items from the list from my first visit!).

Absolutely delighted with the service provided by Colin & Andy. With serious work required on my MX5 mk2 to cut out and replace badly corroded front chassis rails I knew from my first contact with them I was in safe hands. Not only was I invited to inspect my car on the ramp with them to agree what work was necessary I was also sent photos at each stage of the work. So refreshing to find a garage with a friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable team where nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Don't expect polished marble floors or a 'dolly bird' on reception but genuine workshop environment which specializes in everything MX5.
