Have taken my cars here for regular services and have been extremely happy with the quality of work, honesty and good nature of the staff. Very friendly and although not the cheapest, I am willing to pay a small premium to know my car is in expert hands!

I have been using this garage for about 5 years now. There is nothing too much for them, they go out of their way to help and always get me back on the road as soon as is practically possible. Even during our weird covid world, Doug still makes time to talk through any repairs and make sure you know what needs doing. I would highly recommend this garage, anytime.

Whilst my beloved BMW 3 series was in the care of the garage, someone had driven erratically through the industrial estate and ended up crashing into my car whilst parked. I immediately received a call from Rich telling me what had happened and invited me down to see him / the damage etc. The garage took full responsibility as it was in their care at the time, so sent my car off to a bodywork specialist to fix the damage. This also included fitting a brand new OEM light from BMW. As a gesture of goodwill, Rich lent me his own car to drive for the time being (BMW X5) and fitted 2 brand new rear shocks to my car, worth £350+. Once my car was returned, it came back as good as new like nothing had ever happened. Very good customer service, and very good mechanics! D A Whiteley autos will become my new garage for sure :)

Can't rate these guys enough. Needed a cambelt change on my VW Golf and didn't want to get ripped off by a VW dealer. Picked up and returned my car and kept me fully updated the whole time. Went to them based on seemingly having legitimate reviews on Google and Checkatrade and was proved right. They were even patient when I was incapable of knowing which day of the week is was when booking and them having to change at least two times! Already booked in for my MOT and service for later this year!

I don't usually do reviews but on this occasion felt it was necessary to do so! As someone who doesn't understand the techno lingo of car mechanics I started to panic when an engine fault light recently came on. After calling D A Whiteley I spoke to a lovely lady called Jane who reassured me not to worry and that they would fit me in the very next day. Not only did they take their time to explain the faults in laymans terms (thank god) they also had my car fixed the very same day. Highly recommended!

I would never take my car anywhere else. I find DA Whitleys to be the most honest and helpful mechanics. After having a dreadful experience elsewhere the guys here booked me in last minute and managed to fix my car for half price! I wouldn't ever go anywhere else now, I couldn't recommend them more!!

sent my wife early with no appointment as she needed her car asap after an issue that morning and not only did they manage to fit her in, the car was fixed then and there!! Great service from the whole team there and would highly recommend (as have now booked my car in for its service as well!!) AAAAAAA+++++++++
