I cannot recommend this business enough. Mark has done a lot of work on my modified 500 Abarth , including remapping (as they agents for Avon Tuning), servicing, engine management warning and electrical issues and fitting engine mods. Nothing seems to be a problem for them . They are also now going to do the servicing on my electric car as well. Mark and his team are always friendly and very helpful.

We first found AES many years ago when my wife’s old Fiat 500 developed an electrical fault that had everybody else stumped. It was looking like the car would be written off because a new wiring loom was going to cost more than the car was worth. Then somebody suggested AES as the place to go for specialist work on auto electrics and sure enough they fixed the fault and it didn’t cost the earth. Since then I have taken all my vehicles to AES for regular servicing and MOT’s. I used to have a Toyota Hilux (diesel) and currently drive a Mitsubishi Outlander (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle), so whether you have a petrol, diesel or EV you will find Mark’s service to be exemplary and great value for money. Even now that AES are a few miles out of York, I would still not consider taking my vehicles anywhere else. Mark also takes care of my wife’s car (Vauxhall Astra) and my daughter’s car (Mini). Give AES a try, you will not be disappointed!

Mark was extremely accurate as always when diagnosing the problem with our Skoda . He gave clear quotes as to the cost of the three possible solutions and always communicated fully as to each stage of the repair . Our car broke down, Mark had it in and quickly diagnosed what was wrong. He gave a detailed explanation and what was required to put it right. Communication was excellent and he diagnosed and fixed the problem right first time. We will be using Mark again in the future for sure.

I have a Peugeot boxer van which had an electrical fault with the braking system that my local garage diagnosed as the abs ecu but they didn’t have the technology to fix. With this in mind I contacted a few different garages who were unable to help until I contacted AES in York who said yes we can fix it no problem! So I took my van through, left it with them and within 24hours had a call to say it had been fixed. Turns out it wasn’t the abs ecu but a broken wire, repaired at the fraction of the cost of my original quotes from Peugeot. Great Service, Great Price and Great Customer Service! Took my Jap Import to these guys on spec, it had developed a knocking noise and within a few hours they had run it thru the MOT, diagnosed the fault and despite discontinued parts that needed work, they suggested a number of options to rectify. I was phoned on 4 occasions throughout the day to consult me on best way forward. Cannot recommend highly enough - this is what customer service used to look like! Then the bill landed, another shock, a great price. why would you go anywhere else? Thanks Guys.

Excellent top quality service and managed to revive my totally dead car. Car was finished and ready for collection the day before I expected it. My car is fully functional now. No more start/stop fault, ABS fault, Electronic circuit fault and dead battery. Overall an excellent job.

You can not go wrong with mark he explains everything in great detail with the work that needs doing fixes cars to a very high standard i was dumb enough to purchase a VW POLO from openroadcars bradford back in January 2019 the first service came around end of April and i took it to AES its first service and a gear box oil leak was discovered air con was not working and mark explained it was not a simple regas the condenser was holed and needed to be replaced subsequent of my first visit the car went in for various repairs coolant pump replacement gear box oil leak repaired and a gear mount replaced mark had advised the gear box was not the original with a gear box bolt mount missing and its had another starter motor that had not been fitted to the standard it should of been but should not give any problems i asked why all these problems a simple reply the car has had a front end collision please get rid of the car otherwise you will have ongoing problems with it i would certainly recommend AES for all your cars needs !
