a. b.These guys are amazing. They rescued us when we were stuck at the side of a very busy road, with two kids and a dog, and feeling pretty defeated as it looked as though our family holiday was ruined. On the way back to their garage, they offered to drop us at a local campsite or even to the coast in an attempt to save our holiday, with the option of a low cost rental so we could still get about. Fortunately they also treated our car as a priority and managed to diagnose the issue within a few minutes of arriving. Within a couple of hours purely due to their sheer determination to rescue our holiday we were back enroute to our original destination. Literally couldn’t thank them enough, I have never known customer service this good!!! We were so lucky to have called them. Thank you EGL!!!!!

If you’re ever stuck in the YORK area give these guys a call, you will not be disappointed. Fair prices, 24hr service line and genuine friendly people. We were severely let down by RAC and called up EGL and Vicky advised on all the services they could provide even offering to pick up our car and deliver to our preferred destination she was so lovely and really lifted our moods in what seemed like the weekend from hell. Always at the other end of the phone with a friendly tone (even though we called her a lot). Connor at the garage carried out a full diagnosis and had our car back up and running in good time so we could carry on and enjoy our holiday. We highly recommend.

D. S.So I was stuck at the side of the road having been let down by RAC and the AA, Steve drove past me a couple of times on other jobs and when he was free came to check how I was getting on. He then worked to get me going with the RAC and when they failed to be able to provide a tow he price matched them and took me from York to Aberdeen saving me 5hrs at the side of the road and countless part trips the RAC would have done. He honestly saved me that day. I have never felt so helpless and then so saved. I will forever be grateful to him and his company and would not hesitate in recommending him! Friendly, gracious and so accommodating it’s unreal!
R. O.Excellent recovery service. I broke down and they were able to get to me within 35 minutes to safely return my dog and I home, and take my car to their repair shop. Very good price for recovery with such a speedy and friendly service. They repaired my brakes next day for a reasonable price and wavered the diagnostic fee as I'd used them for recovery.

M.Able to transport anything from motor homes to roof trusses, scaffolding to a brand new car to your home, if the load is ok to travel in the open EGL moves it safely and timely on a bespoke designed 7mtr trailer and 4x4. This means any load can be delivered to places a big 7.5t Hgv can't get to! 💪⚓👍

W. N.I needed 3 large carpets 2 x 4m and 1 x 5m and 8 bags of underlay 82m2 and materials like gripper and bars moving from York to Doncaster immediately. EGL sorted this THE SAME DAY and in a matter of hours! Which is an incredible effort. Can’t recommend them enough and thank you for solving a major problem. This wasn’t a small amount of materials either and the price was brilliant. 5*.
