This is such a lovely store in Derby. As first time parents to be, we have been so impressed with the service we have received. We finally decided on our travel system (Egg2) and placed our order after our 3rd visit. Emma was extremely knowledgable and patient in talking us through all of the different travel systems. She knew which one was best for us from our first conversation and steered us in the right direction. The whole experience has just been brilliant. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you to all the staff (Lucy, Diane & Susan). You guys are so kind and have exceptional customer service.

Really helped us choosing a pram. The sales assistant spent at least 1 1/2 hour talking through all the options with us. They then kindly kept the pram for us until we were ready to pick it up. Really friendly and knowledgeable service. Did not feel any sales pressure at any stage which was refreshing!

After a bad experience at another store and being so close to the due date and needing everything we decided to try here and I'm so glad we did! We had the most amazing experience here! We went in and was greeted straight away with lovely friendly staff who were on hand to help with anything you needed and nothing was too much trouble. We were anxious about making the right choices with regards to pushchairs and a bed for our new addition but without even asking they explained all the benefits of each item and I couldn't be happier with our purchases. I can't thank them enough! If you need to go baby shopping this is definitley the best place to go. Baby Planet Derby have been so amazing helping us plan for our baby's arrival. During lockdown we had a virtual viewing with Emma who demonstrated how to use several pram sets that we were interested in, we ordered our gorgeous furniture saved £££ and it came so quickly. We then went to the store to properly choose our pram set which we got another bargin on too and was really looked after in the store by Salman. Thank you for great customer service! We planned a whole day pram hunting. We knew roughly want we wanted, but wanted to have a solid, in-depth look and preferably talk to someone who could answer our questions sufficiently. We’re first-timers so we were going in cold, with only the research done on the internet to guide our way. We had planned to start at Baby Planet, then potentially go elsewhere to see what different products they stocked, and indeed what different offers they had. Our day of pram hunting started in Baby Planet as planned – however it also ended there. Why? Because quite simply we got everything we could have needed in this store – access to all the popular brands and models of pram and car seats, the time and freedom to make our decisions and do our testing carefully and thoroughly, the expert advice from the superb and non-pushy Salman (store owner I believe), and an offer as good as, if not better than we had seen anywhere else. In short, there was literally no need to go anywhere else. When you consider that nearly all these stores sell the same stock, the important things are the level of service and the price. Both were superb here. Salman was incredibly patient, we were in the store for at least an hour and a half, yet he showed not a single ounce of impatience with us. He answered all our questions more than adequately, helped us test the prams in multiple ways – how they operated, how they folded down, what parts fitted with them, and even took our chosen one out to see how it fitted in the boot. He gave us his very thorough opinions of the prams, and also the car seats, advising us carefully and not leading us at all. If he didn’t think that something was worth paying the extra for he would say. We were so pleased with the service we received in this store, that we knew they deserved the sale. We spent just under a thousand pounds, and came away feeling we had got everything we wanted/needed and delighted with our decisions - decisions made with the help of a brilliant store owner who not only knows his stuff, but knows how to help, not just sell. Returning Customer. Bought Silvercross Wave with Cybex Cloud Z+ Car Seat in Granite from Salman & Sue in March 2019, Derby. The price and service was outstanding as we were going to buy from John Lewis or Mothercare but decided to support a local and independent business as they were not only cheaper but more helpful and forward with advice with no pressure to buy; we even negotiated the wave bag as part of our deal which neither of the bigger stores would even consider. We returned in June 2019for the ergobaby but ended up buying the cheaper babybjorn mini and then the babybjorn rocker and again both were cheaper than the larger chain stores, they had more choice in store too. They are now our first port of call and we have recommended to all our friends (expectant).

AMAZING!! I highly recommend anyone either first time parents like myself and my partner or parents who are expecting another child. Friends and family everyone should go here. I have never felt so comfortable or at home in a shop before, no question seemed stupid and I learnt so much and felt so happy with my decisions. The whole experience from visiting to buying and revisiting felt great. The ladies are wonderful and you can not get this experience anywhere else. I’ll be visiting again and again and again as my daughter gets older I won’t go anywhere else.

Thoroughly recommend visiting the store if you’re in the market for baby items. The store has a vast range of products on show with good prices to match. The staff were knowledgable and helpful. There are also good measures in place to cope with COVID-19.

Couldn't recommend this place enough. Seen them at the manchester baby show and decided to take a trip down to see the store. Fantastic experience from start to finish.
