Always easy parking, everything in store well labelled, good stock. Staff at till were extra helpful, sorting out a query I had, due to the queue I created they quickly opened another till. Staff polite, smiley, and welcoming, what more do you need?

Excellent customer service from a lady (apologies, I didn't get her name) but she sorted me out a Coleman 3mx3m event shelter that was on offer. She had seen one out the ( and I quote) "corner of her eye" amongst all the boxes of the latest delivery. Hun, I thank you very much. You made my day!

Great experience today.Found the coat I wanted priced at £160.reduced to £144 if membership purchased for £5. At checkout I asked if there was likely to be a sale soon but better than that the assistant named CHAIRS searched the internet and found it for sale at £102 so my final bill was £107 a massive saving of £43. An excellent example of friendly and efficient customer service and shops competing with the net.

Went for a children's pair of walking boots. Reasonable range, reasonably priced. Staff aren't shoe fitters so you are on your own in terms of finding the right fit. Overall happy, as we found what we wanted.

I was looking at family-sized tents with my family and found plenty in store that we could explore and lay down in, which was quite fun. Better than looking at tents in a catalogue or on a screen. I'm not a fan of their silly reward card scheme though.

Decent range of outdoors products like tents, climbing, clothing, cycling, shoes as well as bbq and such. The retail prices are stupidly high, but with their discount card (costs £5) you will find the prices to be similar to other outdoor stores/online. Stock can be spotty at times, with some products having loads and others having nothing in sight. Gas bottles are very difficult to get. Dogs are allowed in store which is great.

So much choice, so long as you're not more than 2XL... not sure about their brand, High Gear, but they stock most other well known brands... If you're a "weekender" then - welcome to Aladdin's Cave.. for experienced and above, I'd look on line before travelling to the store.. This being said, the staff seem well up to date with product knowledge across ranges, and do recommend Google research! All-in-all, a good shopping experience when engaging staff...

Bought a sleeping bag a pair of hightec trainers only for £75 both both... Instead of over £100 with the discount card. Staff, couldn't have been more helpful, attentive, jovial and polite. A wonderful range of items in the Ipswich store.

Lots of variation of tents, bargain priced clothes, a few bargain rucksacks. Some items are slightly expensive but that's to be expected. We were looking for a baby rucksack carrier. Expensive anyway so might as well go for quality. Outdoor hats were very expensive but believed to be ventilated and maybe sun protected.

Great products at great prices. Boughy walking shoes. Would just say they need to be clearer about the need fpr a discount card. Shoes advetised at £25 - at till were asked if we had a discount card which we didn't and they changed to £60. Had to ask if we could buy a discount card and we were then told we could and it was a fiver. Others were walking off thinking they were being ripped off.

Go outdoors is an amazing shop for getting everything you could ever need. When we went they has massive sales on loads of items, we where able to get huge amounts off some items with there discount cards. All staff are happy and passionate about helping you. I would really recommend a visit.

They're doing their best in difficult times. No browsing as such but as long as you know what you want you'll be ok. The member of staff I asked for assistance about a product didnt know the answer but went out of his way to find the answer.

Like going to a toy shop if you like the Outdoors. I find Go in general can be hit and miss in terms of finding bargains and it depends what is on offer as to whether it's worth my while going or not. Probably best to check the deals first. Saying that, the price promise is always worth looking at. I've used it several times with no quibble. Once I was turned down on a bit of a technicality I thought but It's often a great way to get a real bargain if you're willing to do your homework. As for the Ipswich store inparticular, I have to say that I'm particuarly well impressed with the staff in there. Not intrusive but they seem to be able to tell when you are looking confused and could do with some help. On my last visit I could single out at least 2 people that went beyond what I would expect customer service wise, which is 2 more than usual for most shops! It's a decent sized store and if you're in Suffolk you basically had to always travel to Colchester before this one arrived. I'm glad to say that the Ipswich is good enough to avoid that need, even though (I think) it is a smaller store.

This is a fun and great place for everyone. You won't even know you're burning those calories cos it's just so much fun. It's not just the bouncing, you get to play basket ball, dodge ball and all sorts as you bounce. Definitely for everyone!!

Almost too much stuff to look at. If it's outdoors you want to be, here's the place to get the kit. Some good value stuff. Their price ticket refer to their discount card price which may confuse some. Worth a visit

This branch has a reasonable selection of clothing compared with other Go Outdoors branches. However the woman's clothing section is poor. We struggled to find jackets we wanted to look at for my wife, whereas it was no problem finding the equivalent men's versions of the jackets.
