A very unique place that was fantastic for my daughter who loved playing different roles from being a vet to a hair dresser. plenty to keep the little ones occupied. The cakes on display looked delicious! I would of had a slice if we didn't book the early morning slot 😂. Staff were incredibly friendly and you can't complain on price. I'd highly recommend LBV for those who have kids that have a wild imagination, whilst you can chill....if you want to!

Well what a lovely find this was! As a regular to the centre (and to be honest, more like the bakery next door!) I was so excited to see this open up during lockdown! Having been in for a little peruse before an actual visit, I was excited to take my nearly 3 year old daughter as she adores role play at nursery. I went with my mum friend who has a nearly 3 year old too and we booked up for a visit. My daughter went straight into play with her friend and she absolutely loved it! The ladies who worked there were so lovely and very accommodating with our pushchairs. It was so lovely to see my daughter being enthralled by all the great things she could play with, she took a shine to the police car, so much so, I couldn't get her out! I would thoroughly recommend this gem of the of a place to those with toddlers and young children, I have even booked her 3rd birthday here for a party in August!

Fantastic Play Cafe! Love sessions as isn't to crowed, great layout especially having a baby and a toddler your able to keep eyes on both! Wonderful set-up of role play stations, great price and delicious hot chocolate! Free parking and 5* customer service, highly recommended this place!

Great venue for our young daughters party, had the place to ourselves, great layout with comfy seats and tables down one length with the kids village on the other side. Coffee was great and staff were lovely, friendly and smiley, nothing was too much trouble for them. Kids parties can be stressful, the pressure is on but this went completely smooth.

I've wanted to visit little big village since it opened and finally got to visit last month. My daughter loved it so much that we visited 3 times in 2 weeks with friends and family. The staff are fantastic and you can tell they really love their jobs. On our last visit your staff asked my daughter to find the Gruffalo characters where she got a sticker at the end which she proudly wore for days. The biscotti cake is a defo must!!! I started taking my son to Little Big Village when we moved to the area when he was roughly 22mo old. He is now 2 and a half and still loves everything about it! The set-up is perfect - the play area is filled with fun role play areas for the kids and the table area has a perfect view to keep an eye on your little one without being too far away. Great place to meet for play dates. Delicious coffee and cakes. And I personally think it’s a more enjoyable place than soft play. The members of staff are so nice and lovely as well. Basically I couldn’t recommend Little Big Village more!!!!

My kids loved it at LBV - lots to keep them busy. They really enjoying pushing the shopping trolley around and sitting on the police bike! For the grown-up’s there’s lots of Cakes, Coffees, Ice-creams and other treats that are always lovely! 5*

My 2 year old son and I LOVE coming here! The role play areas are beautifully done and really well maintained and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is a great selection of food and they offer delicious cakes and good coffee. My son loves playing with all the toys, especially the ride in police car, and I get a chance to sit and relax. Perfect!

We headed to the Little big village for the Santa meet and greet. It was our first time visiting and we can’t wait to go back now everything is open again! My 3 year old is a whirlwind and I always worry about loosing him in soft plays but the layout of little big village means I can sit and enjoy a (hot) coffee whilst watching him play. The range of things to play with for a small venue is fantastic, the cleanliness of the place is something they should be very proud of, despite all the sticky fingers from the yummy treats sold in the cafe area it is immaculate! Cannot recommend it enough!

Lovely play cafe which we visit regularly with my 4 year old and now baby sibling too. Great set up, always clean with a friendly welcome from staff. I'm able to sit and feed my newborn and have a drink +/- cake for myself whilst my 4 year old plays. During this time I can still see him for the majority of the time and he has a base to run back too if needed. He never wants to leave at the end of a session. There's also a small baby area which I'm sure we're be making use of soon too. Highly recommend.

We are so lucky to have this incredible place on our doorstep. The Little Big Village is so clean and tidy and very well maintained. My 4 year old would have me here every day if he could. The role play areas are set up so well and you can see most of the space when you sit anywhere. The team are fantastic and we cannot fault a single thing here. The food on offer is great and the cakes are pretty good too!

Lovely, local business which both my daughters love. Set up is great and love how you can sit down the one side so can see the children playing the whole way down. So clean and safe. Have been a few times, staff are always really friendly. Yummy cake which I believe is homemade. My kids always have fun in the different areas and get stickers for helping tidy at the end! Something a bit different to softplay but about the same price, gives the option of independent or social play. The only negative is there's not much room inside for pushchairs. We have taken ours in before but I'd say if you don't need it then don't take it.

Absolutely love this place. We took my 2yo daughter recently and she had the best time - so lovely for the little ones to have somewhere to play hands on that’s different to soft play. The place is spotlessly clean and all of the toys and equipment are in really great condition. The staff are super helpful and friendly, plus they offer delicious coffee and cakes. Having not been able to take our two 18 month children out in almost a year, we decided to try little big village on Saturday. It was their (and our) first visit and definitely will not be our last! The cafe has a lovely atmosphere, the coffee was great and the babies loved all the areas to explore! Although, it is most definitely the staff that make it. The girls who were working were really great and came across as genuinely caring, doing everything they could to make the experience one to remember. They are a credit to the team. Everything was clean and it felt like a safe space to relax and enjoy some time as a family. Can't wait to come back!

Little big village is a clean, friendly, fun and most importantly safe place to take the kids for a bit of entertainment. I have taken my 3 year old and 19 month old boys there a couple of times and they have been thoroughly entertained for the full 90 minutes session. This gave mummy and Grandma time to have an actual HOT drink!! unheard of in motherhood. I'd say the café is designed more for the under 6 age category, also has a safe area for babies. The cake selection is great and can highly recommend the brownie and a hot chocolate.

My daughter loves this place and I do too! Such a fantastic alternative to something like soft play! Promotes independent learning and learning through play and discovery... While never out of your sight but you can sit and have a lovely coffee and a bit of cake! The little 'rooms' are so well done and everything is clean and well cared for. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and lovely so even if you come as a lone parent you're not really alone!

This is a great place to take the little ones to play for a session (1½ hours)!! There's plenty of choice, with a roleplay hair salon, a vets, a super market, a cafe/kitchen, an enclosed baby play area, and car garage/police bike area! And it's laid out really well so you can enjoy a hot or cold drink and a bite to eat in a seated area for the adults whilst you can watch the kiddies play a short distance away! My toddler LOVES visiting and has really missed it during the lock downs! (The coffee is really good too ☕ and the fresh cakes are delicious 👌🏻)

I was pleasantly impressed with the friendliness of the staff who invited us inside before they were supposed to start to avoid us waiting outside in the rain with a baby in a buggy and a toddler. The attention to detail makes a lot of difference and is much appreciated! Cleanliness is obvious and the decorations of the play areas reveal passion and inspiration.

My little girl had her 4th party here. I cannot fault this place. From the second I booked it communication was great. They were helpful and accommodating. We opted for 2 hour superior package, 2 hours was perfect, and their food bags were full with lovely party foods (not cheap rubbish) . It was a completly stress free experience !!! It was so good that several of my daughters friends have booked their parties there! 5* highly recommended

Really enjoyed taking the family there, staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have a excellent play area which is highly entertaining for children. They serve excellent food and drinks as well. Only reason not giving five stars is it is a little small could do with having bigger premises to accommodate a larger seating area. Our favourite place to visit! As a mum to kids of various ages, 6,3 and a newborn we have visited many times and both of the older children have had the best time playing. A warm welcome and delicious coffee and homemade cakes mean mummy gets a treat also whilst the children play! The friendly team maintain the play centre beautifully and it is always clean and well laid out! The recent addition of the police car has been a winner 👍😆

I have been a number of times with my six and four year old and they always have a great time. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. From a parents perspective it's a very calm and relaxing experience as the children have great fun, in a safe environment. It would be great if they offered breakfast items on the early morning session or more savoury options as I would definitely meet with friends here more often. Otherwise it's a great place!

I visited with my daughter who is 1. She loved it and the variety of toys on offer to play with and there was plenty of space to play. The staff are all lovely and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The premises are spotless and equipment is of good quality. The coffee and cake is amazing too (but not for my hips 😜). This has to be the best role play centre around. Sarah,Nick and the team make you feel like family when you go in. Nothing is too much to ask for to make it a memorable and amazing experience. The attention to detail they have put in to each of the role play areas brings the sessions to life. We had the pleasure of being able to attend their Christmas event which was put together so well in tough times with Covid restrictions in place and will definitely be returning this year. As our local role play we are going to be regulars as often as we can as a fun and enjoyable trip out for all the family. Not to mention the high quality cakes and food on offer. I visited Little Big village with my son, my friend and her little boy. My son had the best time exploring and playing in the village bakery, shop,vets and hairdressers. Lockdown has changed my confident little poppet into a super shy clingy girl who has to be attached to me at all times. But today she went off and played and was happy about it!! She even wanted to stay at the end of the session to help the wonderful staff tidy up Little Big Village and they very kindly gave her a sticker for helping which she was super proud of! There are dairy free options for her at the cafe which is great with her allergies and the seating area is clean and allows full visibility on the children while grown ups can sit back and have a warm cuppa. We have been coming to LBV since it very first opened! It is one of mine and m6 children's favourite places to go! What sets it above other similar play cafes is the staff who are always go above and beyond to make yhe experience enjoyable for the whole family. A few examples; when breastfeeding my son I have always been offered water which is a huge help and much appreciated, my daughter is 4 and my son 1 so can be a bit of a juggle sometimes but staff are always on hand to help which is amazing! The toys and play zones are always very clean and toys replaced when broken or just added to each area to keep it fun and interesting. We also love the coffee and fab selection of food here! I would actually come just for the cafe if i didn't have the little ones! The size is just perfect. Even on a busy session it feels really spacious and not too chaotic. I like that i can see where the children are if i am sat down at one of the tables it feels very safe and secure. We also attended the Christmas event here and it was so magical! The cafe is also located within a shopping village so parking is free and always have easily found a space. 100 percent recommend LBV! X

Ive been here many times, with the little one a Nanny. The staff are incredible and so warm and friendly and have time for everyone that walks through the door. What a lovely setting. Great interactive rooms. Completely spotless and very well cared for. Staff are fantastic. I dropped a star because of the note on the tables, reminding parents it’s not a BYO food. Completely understand and appreciate a small business needs to sell additional add ons to host such a great local centre. What let’s it down, is the tone of the A4 letter on every table. I won’t go into detail but it’s just not required to justify your margins etc in such a public way. All you need to say, if you feel you need to Say anything at all. “For Safety reasons you can not bring your own food or drink to LBV. As host of the venue that welcomes many different children with dietary or allergen needs we must control what food is brought on site. Therefore please do not bring your own food or drink. Every time we come here we are always pleasently surprised. Everything has been thought of and is executed to perfection. Cakes and coffees are fantastic and reasonably priced. Even little details like the the toilets have paper towels instead of hand dryers! Something my children are terrified of. Just the perfect place to play and relax!

My 22 month has visited Litttle Big Village on several occasions this year. She absolutely adores it and is content and entertained throughout the sessions. The staff are helpful, friendly and add to the amazing experience. The coffee and cake are equally as awesome. I couldn't recommend Little Big Village enough, nor their Affogato and ice creams.

This is a absolute hidden gem in locksheath centre ❤️ my daughter loves it and I literally do not even see her the whole time we’re there, she’s just too busy to see me or even eat 😂 the best part, I get to just chill for a moment with a gorgeous slice of cake and coffee.
